Chapter 2- Serif
My sister was broken. Not broken. Sick.
I wanted to wake her up.
I had told Sans and Papyrus about her.
But all they did was make a note and call Alphys.
But when I heard that my sister was coming to see me, I was overjoyed!
" She's awesome! You'll love her!" I said to Cassi-May, my best friend.
Since I had been awakened, Cassi had been my BFF. She even let sleep on the floor next to her bed. She was sweet and caring with a smile that lit up a room. Everyone adored her, but her family and close friends knew she had a dark side.
" I bet she is. My older sis is awesome too!" Cassi said, sketching a drawing in her pink notebook.
"You have an older sister!?" I said surprised.
"Yeah. Her name is Comica. She's always looking for humans! She's on the royal guard." She paused, picking up a new pencil "I think that's partially why Paps wants to be on the royal guard." Cassi laughed "Anyways, what's she like?" I thought about it for a minute. In all of our conversations, we hadn't known about the outside world, or at least we pretended not to. So we didn't have much to talk about. I knew what her personality was like, though. She was almost always extreme. She wouldn't be sad, she would be devastated. She wouldn't be happy, she would be ecstatic. When she was angry... Well, you get the picture.
"Well, she's... tiring. She has a lot of energy. It kind of drains you. She reminds me of Papyrus." I attempted to explain her presence. "She's really smart, though. People don't give her enough credit for that."
" Oh! Comi used to be like that! Nowadays she's just... out of it." Cassi looked down at her notebook before closing it and putting on her nightstand.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"She just grew up, I guess." Cassi replied.
I could tell that she was sad. I knew how that felt. Maybe I should lighten the mood.
"Do you know what's for lunch?" I asked Cassi, smiling at thought of food.
"Sans promised hot cats." Cassi replied.
"Cool!" I loved hot cats! I heard a loud booming noise outside the house and assumed it was Grillby kicking Sans out of the place, as usual. I heard it again and looked at Cassi, concerned.
"What do you think th-" She was cut off by the booming noise kicking down the door.
"Little siiiiiiiiiiiiiisteeeeeeeeer!"
"Wanna guess?" Cassi asked me sarcastically.
"Sans." I said, laughing.
Cassi picked up her computer, turning it on. Did I forget to mention that Cassi is a genius, like most of the Gaster family? But instead of being a science nerd like Sans or a determined athlete like Papyrus, she was a computer geek. She built robots and fixed machines. She had already fixed the toaster this morning.
She entered her password and the computer sprung to life. She pressed an icon that had a picture of a camera.
But it was not a camera app. Sorta. Cassi had installed cameras in every room-Both her brothers' rooms, the kitchen, the living room, her tree house, even Sans's secret lab.
Cassi checked her camera by the front door
"You win!" She said laughing
