The Last Day of Summer
Btw I toke that picture up their.
So as you can see Hogwarts has a very unique history to it and more and more discoveries are being made everyday!
I finished the last sentence of Hogwarts, a history, for the 70th time. It was the last day of summer and I was spending it at the Burrow, with my grandma, grandpa, and brother. Later all my cousins and aunts and uncles would be arriving for dinner.
Tommorow we would be leaving for Hogwarts. Lily, Hugo and Louis are starting their first year. This anxiety has caused Hugo to nonstop talk about Hogwarts. After an hour or so I decided to plug him out and reread Hogwarts, a history.
I had already read all of my textbooks for the year and could successfully create a wolfsbane potion. With my photographic memory it was pretty easy. Although mom did help during the hard parts.
So far 5th year sounded like it was going to be fun.
I was currently hiding out in Uncle George's old room. I lay flat on my back on top of the other bed in the room. It had a bunch of old order forms and some merchandise from Zonko's joke shop on the table beside it.
Uncle George told me they were his twin's stuff, and that he didn't want to get rid of the stuff.
I picked up stink bomb and thought of the time James threw one in Al's room. His room smelled terrible for weeks. James's punishment was having to share a room with Al for the remaining time that the smell was in the room.
"Rose! Rose! Rose! Albus, Lily, James, and Teddy are here with Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny." Hugo yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
I jumped up and ran two steps at a time down the stairs and to the living room where my cousins stood.
"Hey kiddo your parents are going to be here in a few minutes," Harry said to Hugo.
When I got down the stairs I jumped into Albus's arms almost knocking him over.
"Hey Rosie, we saw each other last week. Not 10 years ago." I didn't care if we did see each other, Albus is my fav cousin.
"Ya whatever. I can't wait until we board the Hogwarts express tomorow. It feels like I haven't seen Alice in forever."
"Well you haven't because she spent the summer at Hogwarts."
"Why?" Harry asked interupting our conversation.
"She is the daughter of our herbology teacher." Albus said.
"Professer Sprout retired? Who toke her spot?" This time Ginny asked the question.
"Neville Longbottom." I said. Both jaws dropped as I said the name.
"He's a teacher? He has a wife? He has a daughter?" Harry said questionally.
"Yep he started teaching the year before first year." Albus answered his shocked expression.
"Well I guess thats cool. Tell him we said hello. Now where did James and Lily go?" Said Ginny.
Harry and Ginny walked to the kitchen where my grandma Molly was cooking dinner.
"So how have the Potters been, Teddy. Have they kicked you out yet?" I asked Teddy. He seemed to be in a daze considering he didn't know I was talking to him.
"Oh ya their cool I guess." Teddy replied.
"Cool I guess." Albus repeated. "We are absolutely amazing." I laughed at this comment.
"Whatever, Potter, I'm ready for the food" And with that Teddy left the room followed by Albus. I decided to wait by the door until everyone arrived.
*****
After about half an hour of waiting the family came. It started with my parents: Ron and Hermione, then George, Angelina, Roxanne, and Fred. Following them was Bill, Fleur, Victorie, Dominique, and Louis. Next, Percy, Audrey, Molly, and Lucy.
I know what your thinking; huge family, right?
Still I felt we were missing someone.
