"Hey." He called me.

"Hey there." I smiled at Kai. My best friend whom I loved from afar.

"How are you?" He suddenly asked me.

"I'm good." He just smiled.

"There she is."

"Yeahboyyyy. Hey there gorgeous."

We turned our gaze to the door and saw Czarina. She's a campus princess. Weird she's usually with her friends but she's alone.

I looked at Kai and his Jaw like literally dropped.

"Yah!" I snapped my fingers at his face.

"She's too gorgeous eh?" I elbowed him.

He just smiled. Ouch.

I was surprised when she walked to our direction. Which made Kai's heart flutter more. I can see it because he suddenly elbowed me. And I saw this unusual smile in his face.

"Annyeonghaseyo. Uhm, you're Jong-in right?" She said nicely. He nodded nervously at her.

"Uhh, yeah He's Jong-in." She looked at me.

"Omo. Are you his girlfriend? Jeosonghamnida. But I just need him to come with me." She was nervous when she said that. Kai's girlfriend. My heart raced when I heard that. I was about to reply to her but Kai spoke.

"Ani. Aniyo. She's not my girlfriend. She's my best friend. Uhm Annyeonghaseyo. Jong-in imnida. But you can call me Kai." He shook her hand. She just smiled.

Your best friend? Wow that hurts. But still I managed to force a smile at her.

"Oh. Sorry. Uh. Mr. Park is looking for you by the way." She smiled. And he smiled in return. He stood up.

"Kaja!" She looked at me.

"Uh. Do you mind if I take him out for a while?" I shook my head.

"Of course I don't. go ahead." I smiled at them and Kai waved at me goodbye.

I looked at their retreating back. I sighed. They look good together. I mean Czarina is a Campus Princess and Kai is a heartthrob or a Campus Prince. What about me? I'm just an ordinary person. They really do match and as what I've said, they look really good together.

"Omg. They look good together." I heard those murmurs behind me.

"Yeah right. I mean I always thought that that girl and Kai are in a relationship but Czarina + Kai? Omg girl perfect!" Ouch. That hurts 💔

I stormed out of the canteen. I decided to go to the classroom. On my way there, I saw Kai and Czarina talking to Mr. Park. I can't help it. I eavesdropped.

"Jinja? Are you serious Mr. Park?" Serious? Why?

"I am." Mr. Park answered with his deep voice.

"Oh nooo. A lot of your fangirls will get mad at me Oppa." She stomped her feet. What? Why?

"Aniyo. Don't worry I'm here and we're a perfect match. Maybe they'll ship our loveteam. " Kai stated happily. Loveteam? For what?

"What do you mean loveteam? Aish. Fine. I'll be your partner in the play."

As days passed, Kai and I are becoming distant. Because 1. He's busy 2. His popularity increased and 3. I'm avoiding him

"Why?" I answered coldly. I removed his hands that were on my shoulder.

"Nothing. Bogoshipda mercyyyy." I heard my heartbeat. It's beating crazily fast. But still, I acted cold.

"Hmmm? Why do you miss me?" He pouted. Aish. JONGIN PLEASE.

"Of course. You've been distant to me these days." If only you know the reason Jongin. *sigh

"Nahhhh. You were busy. I was busy. So that answers it." I finally looked at him straight in the eye.

"Oh. There you are. I've been looking for you." I turned back and saw Czarina. Kai immediately smiled at her. *sigh I can't take scenes like this 😖

"Oh. Eonni Annyeonghaseyo. How are you?" She smiled at me. Seriously I'm supposed to be mad at her bc she is having all of Kai's attention right now. But darn. She's too nice despite the fact that she's popular and stuff. Also you can't afford to be mad at her.

"I'm fine. How about you?" She smiled widely. I smiled in return

"A little bit exhausted but I'm okay. Anyway, you wanna join us? We're having lunch together." I shook my head but I saw Kai's pout which made my heart melt.

"Awww. But eonni he misses you. A lot." Czarina also pouted. And then she grabbed my hand.

"Please eonni. Please please pleaaaaase." She's doing aegyo. Aish. I saw this big smile on Kai's face.

A girl's Aegyo always makes Kai's heart melt.

"Fine." She smiled and then she clapped her hands like a little kid. Awww, this girl is so damn cute.

"Yayyyy. Kaja!" She grabbed my hand and pulled it. Kai was walking beside her.

"Cutie. Hahahahaha." Kai pinched her cheek. I closed my eyes. This is why I don't want to have lunch with you guys.

"Oppa Hajimmaaaaa! Aish jinja!" She pouted. Seriously?! Tell me again why did I even agree to this set up?!! Aish jungmal! Pabo Mercy yah! Pabo!

"What do you want? My treat." I looked at Kai. I thought he was talking to me but ugh I found out she was talking to Czarina.

Czarina smiled and shook her head.

"Oppa. You don't need to really." She smiled a much cuter smile this time. Kai smiled back at her.

Uhhh okay third wheel.

"I'll go look for a place." They both smiled at me then I gave Kai money he knows what I want. I saw a vacant table I sat there.

I saw Kai going to my direction without Czarina.

"Where's Czarina?" I asked as soon as he sat down.

"She's talking to her friends." He said while looking at her direction while smiling. I smiled.

"Are you inlove with her Kai?" I asked nervously. I already prepared myself for his answer. He looked at me. Shock written all over his face.

"Are you?" I added a little firmness in my voice. I feel like something is forming in my eyes. Omg tears not now.

"Yes. I think I am. No wait. I am inlove with her."

"Oh." I faked a laugh. So that my tears won't fall.

"I'm so happy for you." I smiled. A fake one.

"Thank you best friend. Promise to root for me?" He smiled. Oh dear tears stop not now.

"I promise Kai."
