The doorbell rings, and I shot up from my bed, and grab my backpack. He's here!

I heard some chatter as I ran down the stairs.

"Oh! Jongin! It's nice to see you." Mom smiled as I saw him bow.

"It's nice to see you too omonim." He whispered the last word.

"You two will be back by 9, right?" Appa asked sternly he nodded.

"We will, appa." I say, joining his side.

"Who's here?" My older brother Baekhyun asked.

"It's me Baek hyung."

"Jongin? What are you doing here?"

"Oh. Thaohyun and I were going to study at the library. We have finals coming up." Jongin explains as I nodded.

"Ah ok. Study hard. And come home early Thao!" Baek oppa says as Kai and I bid my parents a goodbye.

Truthfully, Kai and I have been dating for a while. Being the good girl I am, I told my parents, who approved of Jongin since he was oppa's friend. But I can't tell Baek oppa because he's too overprotective.

I remember when Taehyung, a boy in middle school asked me out. And Baek oppa was his sunbae, so he gave him a little 'talk.' I never heard a word from Taehyung again.

"Where are we going?" I asked once we got in the car.

We're obviously not going to the library to study...

"Somewhere special since it's our half year anniversary." He gives me a cheeky grin.

After a while of driving, Kai and I ended up at Han River Park. Once I saw our destination, I realized that this was the first place that I saw Kai.

That day was a hot summer day. I was ordered by mom to get my brother home because his phone was dead. I walked to the park, because that's where oppa said he was.

I found him easily in a group of boys who were playing basketball. I got closer to yell his name, and he waved, only to continue playing and ignoring me.

I suddenly heard yells, and saw a figure run towards me. I crouched in response. He was dark, swift, and was breathing heavily. I heard a loud thump and peeked up to see his rather gorgeous face.

"Are you ok?" He asked me with a husky voice.

"Yah! Thao-ah, kwenchana?" Baek oppa asked as my eyes didn't leave the beautiful stranger's.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I said and stood up.

"Kai. Thanks for protecting my sister."

"Of course. I can't let someone like her get hurt." He says and slowly turns away to resume the basketball game.

I sat there and watched all of them, but that Kai stood out to me most.

As the game ended, the group and I introduced ourselves to each other. It turns out that oppa talks a lot about me, which was why the group had already somehow knew me.

And from that day, Kai and I just clicked. It turns out that he was a year older than me in school, so I started hanging out with him and Baek oppa's other friends. They're all like oppas to me, but as for Kim Jongin, he was someone I saw differently.

"Do you remember what happened here?" Kai asked, holding my hand as I looked at him shyly.

"Of course, prince charming." I smiled.

"When I saw you out of the corner of my eye, I thought that you were the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen. But what Baek hyung told me you were his sister, I got scared because I knew how much he loves and wants to protect you."

"I know." I sighed. "I just wish that he can accept us..."

"I'm sure he will babe. He has to because I love you." Kai says as I gaze into his eyes.

"R-Really?" I blushed, trying to hide it.

"I do." He says, smiling.

"Well, I love you as well Kim Jongin." I smiled. "Happy half year anniversary Kim Jongin."

"As to you, my Baek Thaohyun."

Kai reached in for a kiss, and I felt the spark flying and exploding everywhere.

With a happy air around us, Jongin and I played around and laughed so much. It was all nice and comfy until I heard a familiar voice.

"Jongin, do you hear that?" I asked, alert.

"Yeah. Isn't that Baek hyung's voice?" He asked as we looked around.

Frickity frick.

And there he was. My brother was walking in front of us, laughing with his girlfriend, Taeyeon unnie.

I looked at my boyfriend to see what he would do. I took a step back. I didn't want Baek oppa's overprotectiveness to take me away from Jongin.

Instead of backing away, Kai only took a step closer.

"Jongin?" I asked as we could hear the two louder now. Baek oppa was laughing with unnie, and he turned his head-

"Jongin? Thao? What are you two doing here? I thought that you two were in the library, studying."

"We're not hyung." Kai says as I look at him. "We're on a date."

I could feel all our eyes widening. How will Baek oppa react to this?

"I'm dating Thao, and I love her hyung. We've been dating for a long time. And I won't let you take her away from me."

A silence follows, and Baek oppa looks at us.

"I see." Another silence. "Well, seeing my dongsaeng so happy with you, I can't help but say yes. You're one of my best friends Jongin. I hope you won't hurt Thao." He says as he grips Taeyeon unnie's hand and walks away.

"Gomawo oppa!" I yelled.

"Kamsamida hyung! Saranghaeyo!" Kai yells as Baekhyun oppa gives us a merong.

"I guess we're official." Kai says, gripping my hand.

"Oppa, are you trying to embarrass me?" I asked as he tried to hold in his laughter.

"Nope. Totally not."

"You're lying."

"Yeah..." Baekhyun oppa says as I sighed. "But think about what you'll get, and what I'll get. It's a win-win situation."

I sighed. There was so many people around too...

The basketball game was almost ending. And if I don't hurry up and do this soon, who knows what'll become of my boyfriend.

"Yah. Byun Baekhyun. Stop torturing your sister." Taeyeon unnie scolded my brother before he went back into the court to play.

"You can do this Thao-ah." Unnie smiled. "Just give me the signal."

I gulped. Oh god, please don't make me a laughingstock.

"Ready." I stood up, making myself visible from the stands and the court.

"Kim Jongin sa.rang.hae!" I yelled. I could feel the stares on me already.

"Fighting Byun Bacon!" Taeyeon unnie yelled, obviously more spirited than me.

"I love Jongin's abs!" I yelled and immediately sat down in embarrassment.

You're such a terrible oppa Byun Baekhyun.

The crowd roars, and the buzzer sounds. They won.

"I loved that comment." Kai says as he came over to me and pecked my cheek.

"Tell that to my brother." I said as he gave us a peace sign, with Taeyeon unnie laughing.

"Love your abs too babe." Kai winks as I turn into a tomato.
