We were searching and searching for that neighborhood. It almost seemed like we weren't going to find it, like it was a figment of our imagination. We were both getting tired of searching, so we stopped at park and sat on a bench.

I turned my head to Lexi, "You know what we forgot."

"What?" She asked.

"My car."

She looked so annoyed with me, but I knew she was going to let it go soon. I mean, it shouldn't be a huge deal to go back, knock on Jimmy's door, get my car keys, possibly change out of our pajamas and leave. Right? Please tell me, it won't be hard.

"I'll go back and get the car, if you want to wait here." I offered.

She looked at me with her big eyes, "We do everything today, Edgar."

That is true. I just thought I would offer because she gets tired easily. So, we walked back to Jimmy's place. I was nervous about it, Lexi, not so much. I know she's angry, just not sure how bad it is.

"You know what, Lex, maybe this isn't a good idea. I me-"

"We walked to a park and back, just so you could wimp out?" She had a point and knocked on the door.

I tried to run off, but she caught me by the back of my shirt.

I looked at her, "I will take off my shirt."

"You are not that comfortable with your body." Another great point by Lexi and a little sass.

Someone answered the door and luckily it was Amber. She was wearing a white skirt with a pink polka dotted shirt and white flats. She got so happy to see us, she hugged us.

"We're just here for my car keys and possibly get changed here?" The last part was a question.

She nodded and let us in, "Jimmy just left for work, so you should be good. And I'm sorry about all of this. I tried to talk him out of it, but whatever you said, he was angry."

"I was just being honest. What could you do?"

"Are you going home?"

I shook my head, "I'm not giving up that easily."

Lexi and I went into our old room, the guest room and got changed. Lexi put on black skinny jeans with a Muse tank top and red conserve. I wore what I normal wear, dark jeans with a graphic shirt and a red plaid shirt, with my DC converse. I grabbed my keys and I knew I didn't want to stay.

"I hope it works out for you two." Amber smiled.

I smiled back, so did Lexi and we left. We couldn't stay there any longer, it was too awkward. Lexi and I got int my car and we drove off, looking for that neighborhood. I wish it was just right in front of us. However, since when was life that easy?

"Lex, could you check my phone?" I questioned.

"Why? Do you really think anyone cared enough to check up on us?" She questioned.

I noticed that Lexi is getting a little annoyed. I get it, she's hungry and tired and really just wants to find Andy. I honestly don't mind, she's cute no matter what. Plus, I'm about in the same mood. But I was annoyed that she said no one cared.

"What about my mom?"

She cocked her head and gave me a look of mass destruction, "She hasn't once checked up on us."

"Give it some time. Now did anyone text me?" I asked.

She shook her head, "Nope. I told you."

I sighed and continued to drive. It was getting really late and I was worried we were never going to find this place. But then the strangest thing happened, a little girl ran in front of my car. I almost hit her!

"What the hell?" I slammed on my breaks. Barely missing the little girl.

The girl with long brown hair, big, brown eyes, who was wearing old ripped up jeans, beating up red converse, a white shirt with dirt on it and a dirty hoodie, walked up to my car, with a big smile, "Hello!"

"What?" I'm a little bit in shock.

"Could you drive me home?" She questioned.

I looked at Lexi who shook her head, not trusting this little kid. But instead of agreeing with Lexi, I invited the girl in. I know Lexi is probably thinking that we're gonna get robbed, but then again, it's a little girl.

"I'm Edgar, this is my girlfriend, Lexi." I smiled.

"I'm Maggie," She replied seeming a little distracted, "Turn right."

I did so and would you look at that. The neighborhood we're looking for. It was the evening and I told Lexi to wait in the car, while I took Maggie to her house.

"This one." Maggie pointed to a house with a dark blue door.

I nodded and knocked on it. Andy answered and a slight smile on his face, "Edgar, thanks for finding my little sister."

I smiled, "No problem. Um, any room for two more people?"

He nodded, "Of course."

He helped Lexi and I with our bags and I parked the car in the back of the house. This house was actually really nice and pretty big. The backyard was a little small with a beating up fence around it. But I guess this is my new home. So, I'm not homeless. We're not homeless. Andy made Lexi and I some coffee. We sat in the living room on a dusty, old, red couch. And we got to talking about what's it like to live. Apparently not too bad

Eventually two girls came home with bags filled of things.

"Jinx and I got some food, more beer, some clothes and furniture." A tall girl with long ish, blonde hair and bright blue eyes said, seeming to be distracted. She was wearing a worn out, black, designer dress with a lot of rings, some bracelets and a cross necklace.

Andy took Lexi and I over to the girls who just walked in. I was excited to meet new people, I guess that means adding some characters to my screenplay. Lexi and I smiled at the two girls. The other girl, I'm guessing her name is Jinx, has light, blonde hair with bright blues. She was wearing black ripped up jeans, with a white t-shirt and hoodie. She actually looked like Andy

"We have two new people living with us, Edgar, Lexi, this is Cassidy and Jinx." Andy smiled.

"Hi! Very nice to meet the both of you!" Cassidy said with a big, perky smile.

"Good to meet you too." I replied.

Lexi just smiled. Jinx didn't really say anything, just hi. But it sounded like she didn't want to be here.

"Are they related to you? Like blood related?" I questioned.

"Well, Jinx is. She's actually the only one who is," Andy replied, "It just so happens that Cassidy also had blonde hair and blue eyes."

I shrugged, Jinx and Cassidy look related, I was just curious. Lexi asked to go upstairs to see our room. Apparently we're sharing with Cassidy. I guess that's alright, we'll just have to be quiet. Lexi went to our room to unpack. I decided to stay downstairs and get to know everyone better.

"Hey, lets see what you got!" Andy smiled and we walked into the living, taking a seat.

There were four bags. All garbage bags, just filled to the top and some were beginning to rip.

Jinx grabbed the black bag all the way to the right. and dumped it, "These are the clothes."

It was a wide collection from designer to knock offs. Even a pair of Jordans. I was surprised. The next bag was home decoration, again, some nice things. The a bag just filled with beer, I don't care too much for that. And finally, the last bag was filled with food.

"Wow, where did you get all of this stuff?" I questioned.

"Well, most of the clothes and decorations were from dumpsters. All of the food and beer, we stole." Cassidy shrugged like it was no big deal.

"Wait. You guys steal?" I didn't feel comfortable with that.

All three of them nodded, looking confused. Am I going to have to steal? I mean once I did steal a pencil from class, but I did return it by the end of the week. I just felt too guilty.

"You never stole before?" Andy questioned.

"I took a pencil from class once."

"Ha! You call that stealing? You have a lot to learn, Eddy." Andy smiled, putting his arm around my neck.

"Look, I don't want to steal. I just don't feel comfortable with it."

Cassidy placed her hand on my, "I came from a rich family. I never had to steal, then they set me off on my own. I flunked out of college, I'm a stripper and I'm spotting in this abandoned house. You're going to learn and eventually start to like it."

I looked at her, "What about your morals?"

She laughed a little under her breathe, "I lost those a long time ago and you're going to lose yours."

I shook my head, "No, Lexi and I will never. We stand by that."

She shrugged and rolled her eyes, she thought I was in denial. I'm not, we will never lose our moral. I hope.
