Matter
Why does it feel that nothing matters
Why do I want to shred this world to tatters
Why does everyone else look like desperate ratters
What to do about it, the thought just scatters
Universe the size of infinity
Planet the size of a dot
Our lives a small finity
How could I care about it a lot
I just want rest and peace
But money has all the keys
All my happiness is on a lease
Those with fortune, please don't tease
Go about your work, go about your jobs
The universe doesn't care about your corn cobs
Nor will it remember Calvin and Hobbes
Why all this work, why this difficult play-world
So does the mind say in soundless sobs
