Reaper let himself get lost in the gardens pathways as he searched for family hangouts. He made a mental note of the darkened sky when he heard a voice call to him. "mors? i know that's you." Reaper's eyelights died out. That voice... he knew that voice. That was... Reaper had to see. He had to see him. Geno... Red wings curled around him in a relaxed manner as he smiled lovingly at Reaper. He stood up immediately and walked over - reached to touch him. "d-don't... don't want to hurt you..." Reaper couldn't believe it... this world's Geno was still - "you never have before, mors..." He kissed Reaper softly, so softly and for a fraction of a second he wanted to kiss back, but Reaper pulled away quickly and put some distance between himself and this Geno. This wasn't right. He couldn't. He loved Error, not Geno. "i- don't do that. my name is reaper... y... you have mistaken me for someone else..." The Geno's sockets widened, and he covered his mouth. "oh my stars - i'm so damn sorry -" Reaper waved his hands quickly. "h-hey, no, it was a misunderstanding - you're fine - uh, sorry for not saying something sooner -" The Geno started to giggle despite himself.

Reaper felt his face flush. He knew he should leave, go back to Error and Exist, and tell him... tell him what? That this world's Geno had kissed him? That he had wanted to kiss back? That... he might not be as over Geno as he thought he was? No... he didn't want to ruin what he had with Error. Besides, it seemed that this Geno was with 'Mors' whoever that was. "heh... i'm so sorry for laughing... um... i'm caedes. i'm sorry for thinking you were... you look a lot like mors so-" Reaper rubbed the back of his neck. "yeah, i picked up on that... uh, it was nice to meet you, but i should probably get home..." Caedes nodded quickly. "oh yeah- it can get dangerous at dark. there are a lot of vamps who can't, uh, control their hunger." Seeing as his touch didn't seem to work on Caedes, that might pose a problem. "right, it was nice to meet you..." He started to walk, his gaze never leaving Caedes'- that was until he tripped over a plant root. Caedes laughed as Reaper recovered beautifully. "it was nice to meet you too, reaper... maybe we can meet again..."

Reaper wanted to scream at himself. They should not meet again, that was a terrible idea! The fact that Caedes wanted to made his soul skip beats though. It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair to Error and it wasn't fair to Caedes who didn't even know who he was! He wanted to curl up and cry. He wanted to forget that they met, he wanted to reach out and kiss him again! ("reaper.") "r-eap-er." Reaper looked up at Error, standing there in the grass with Exist in the stroller. Error had seen. Reaper made a choked noise before rushing to him and sobbing. "s-sorry! i-i'm s-so sorry!" Error sighed softly and hugged his lover. ("i know... i know you didn't mean it...") "i kn-ow... i-i k-no-w y-ou d-did-n-t me-an i-t..." Reaper continued to cry into Error. He didn't deserve his mercy, not at all. "i-i th-thought i was o-over him..." Reaper whimpered. Error inhaled deeply.
