Piper walked into first period and sat next to Annabeth, who was giving the wall her famous death glare, she sighed "What happened" she asked her friend, "The new student Percy, he's a dipshit that probably doesn't know what 2 plus 2 is" she said still glaring at the wall "and how did you two meet?" she asked, raising an eyebrow, Annabeth sighed, "Mme Booker asked me to give him a tour" Piper nodded.

They didn't talk much throughout the rest of the class, but about halfway through class Annabeth asked about how her relationship with Jason was going. Piper thought about it for a moment. Jason seemed more distant lately, when she questioned it he denied it and told her to stop worrying about him.

"Fine" she simply responded, Annabeth gave her a doubtful look but didn't press it any farther. Annabeth made it very clear that she did not trust Jason, Piper could see what she saw, but she tried very hard to ignore the nagging doubts in her mind.

As soon as the bell rang Piper basically sprinted out of the classroom on her way to her next class she bumped into someone and started to fall but someone caught her. "sorry" she mumbled, and ran off into second period.

She walked into her seat and sat down next to a boy with messy black hair, whom she guessed was the new kid. Mr Jain looked up from his computer, glanced at them and looked back at his computer screen to finish 'grading'.

Mr Jain is their long time sub, since their real teacher 'died' over the summer and they haven't found a permanent replacement. No one actually believes she died, they think she was just so incredibly tired of dealing with immature high schoolers that she faked her death and moved to Russia.

Most people love this class because the teacher will write something that you have to do on the board for the entire class, and then start 'grading' assignments. Everyone knows he's not grading because everyone, even the people who didn't do the assignment get As.

Piper looked at him, she understood why most of the girls (and a couple of the boys), were giving her death glares, sure he was attractive, with his green eyes and solid features, but in her opinion he was unimpressive compared to Jason.

"So you're the new kid, Percy right?" she asked him "yea? how'd you know, am I already that famous" Piper smiled, she could tell why Annabeth didn't like him, "nah, but I believe you met a friend of mine" Percy thought for a minute, "Blonde hair, gray eyes, bitchy attitude?" Piper glared at him, and he responded with an innocent smile. she let out a small laugh, "no wonder she hates you" Percy let out a mock gasp "No One Hates THE Percy Jackson! Impossible!" She rolled her eyes.

As they were talking a few girl with a short skirt, a crop top, and Way too much makeup on, walked over and gave Percy a fake smile, and started flirting with him, "Fuck off drew." Piper glared at her half sister. "No one asked you," he replied, but she still turned around and stormed off. Percy raised an eyebrow, "I take it you aren't friends?" Piper sighed "No, she's my half sister" Percy stared at her "your half sister is a barbie?" Piper scrunched her nose, "Barbie, Slut, hore yea that's her"

They continued to talk for the rest of class. Piper learned that Percy's favorite color was blue, he loves to swim, he loves his mom's blue cookies. And Percy learned that Piper had two older half sisters, Selena, and Drew, and one younger sister named Lacy. He also learned that Drew started at Good six months ago, after being kicked out of 'Brooklyn academy for the gifted' for seducing a teacher.

About half an hour later the bell finally rang, as Piper was walking out, Drew pushed Piper into the wall, "I don't know why you think you can talk to the new kid, but you shouldn't talk to him if you know what's good for you" she snarled. Piper shoved her back, "i'll keep that in mind" she called over her shoulder as she walked down the hallway, leaving a stunned Drew on the floor.
