"okay notti, so we gotta swab your mouth and you gotta pee in his cup." rory handed notti the cup. "make sure you fill the cup up cause we gotta put this stick in there to test it."

"you should probably pee first, cause that test takes longer to process." rory advised after grabbing the cotton swab from the kit and handing it to juvia. "you can swab his mouth, i'm not doing that." juvia rolled her eyes at her bestfriend but took the cotton swab.

"yo i lowkey feel bad cause we leavin shay and ddot out the loop." dd spoke as he rubbed his face. juvia frowned. "me too, but you know how they can get it. shay would keep saying how i'm dumb for tryna hear notti out and ddot would agree with her." she sighed.

"as much as i love shay, i can't stand how she be tryna make people feel bad about their personal decisions. you hearing notti out literally doesn't affect her in the slightest. she always be tryna belittle someone in some way." rory mugged just thinking about how rude shayera could get.

"nah, that's facts though. and then she be mad aggressive with the shit too, so that don't make it no better." juvia nodded her head at dd. "yeah and i know she means well, but it never comes off like that." juvia sighed.

"and ddot's hypocritical too because ddot literally cheated on her a couple months ago!" rory slightly yelled feeling herself get annoyed. dd, notti and juvia looked at rory with wide eyes. juvia even gasped.

"he what? how do you know?" juvia questioned. she couldn't believe ddot would cheat on shay, but then again, she didn't think notti would cheat on her either. "when we was at notti birthday party, he was super drunk and he confessed it to me. he looked really remorseful."

dd shook his head at this new found information. "i'm the only loyal one, shit crazy." dd slightly laughed at himself and juvia joined in. rory and notti mugged him. "now is not the time for jokes david." rory squinted her eyes.

"nah ddot cheating is wild though. did he say why he did it?" notti asked as he sat back down in his chair. rory shook her head. "i don't even know who he cheated on her with. i didn't ask any questions."

"y'all think shay know? open your mouth ethan." ethan opened his mouth and allowed juvia to
swab his cheeks. "she can't possibly know." rory shook her head. rory sighed contently. "i feel so much better getting that off my chest." she put her hand across her heart feeling a weight being lifted off of her.

juvia moved her lips around as she carefully stuck the cotton swab into the plastic tube for it to give them the results. "i feel bad for shay." she frowned. "i think we should tell her..." juvia trailed off scared of the groups opinions.

"ion know ju... i don't think it's our business to tell." dd sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. juvia furrowed her brows at dd. "but it is though. shay is our friend and she should know that her boyfriend cheated on her." juvia crossed her arms. "that's a big betrayal." her eyes unintentionally cut over to notti who looked extremely guilty.

even though she knew deep down that notti would never do anything to hurt her intentionally, he still cheated. juvia wasn't sure she would ever get over that. drugged or not.

"i think ju right. cause if it was vice versa, shay would tell us in a heartbeat." notti spoke earning head nods from everyone. "okay, ju you call her. you her favorite." rory spoke sitting down on notti's bed with a heavy heart. juvia didn't say anything, but began calling shay.

"hi juju, you okay honey?" shay's smooth voice came through juvia's phone speaker. juvia looked at everyone in the room who had worried eyes. "yeah, shay. i'm okay. are you still busy doing stuff for your mom?"

"nope, i actually just got done. why? what's wrong?" shay's tone of voice changed from calm to worried. "can you come to notti house? we have something to tell you. dd and rory here too." shay squinted her eyes at her phone even though juvia couldn't see her since it was a regular call. "notti house? what are you doing over there?" shay's voice immediately got agressive.

rory rolled her eyes at how shayera was speaking to juvia. she decided to take juvia's phone out her hand and speak to shay herself. "look shay, we can discuss all that later. but we have something important to tell you, so come over here." shayera sighed, but told rory she was on the way. the three girls said they loved each other before hanging up.

"whew, i'm nervous as fuck." dd slightly yelled feeling his nerves get all worked up. "who you telling." juvia sighed as she sat down next to rory. "i just hope she's not mad at us."

"ight i'm here, what's so important that y'all gotta tell me." shayera spoke with clear annoyance in her voice. she actually couldn't believe that her best friends convinced her to come to notti and dd's house. as previously stated, shay still loves notti, but she's not fucking with him due to his actions and she makes that very known.

the original four looked at each other trying to figure out who was gonna tell her. rory sighed deciding she'll do it since ddot is the one who told her. "okay, you have to promise you won't get mad at us." shayera squinted her eyes in confusion, but held both her pinkies up for both girls to make a pinky promise. "okay, now what is it cause y'all making me nervous." shay stressed as she shifted her weight onto her left foot causing her to lean onto notti's door frame.

"when we were at notti's party, someone told me something." rory said playing with her fingers. shayera scrunched her face up at rory not trying to fully tell her what was going on. "rory, get to the point." shay was starting to get even more annoyed. "ddot confessed to me that he cheated on you." rory mumbled looking at anything that wasn't shayera.

juvia looked at shayera who's facial expression never changed. juvia didn't know if shayera already knew or not due to that.

"with who?" she asked with the same tone as before. "i never asked. i didn't want any details." rory truthfully spoke. shayera nodded her head. she was absorbing the new found information. "you okay shay?" juvia asked with a worried look in her eyes. shay looked at juvia with a look of betrayal in her eyes. shay walked over to juvia and gave her a tight hug. light sobs could be heard from shayera as she clung onto juvia's body.

"i can't believe he'd do me like that." she spoke with a whine as she cried harder. "i-i did everything in my power to make him the happiest boy on earth and this... this is how i get repaid?" shay wasn't one to doubt her self worth or to put herself down, but right now, she felt as if she wasn't enough for ddot.

shayera pulled away from juvia's warm embrace. "was i not enough for him? what did i do to make him betray me like that?" she sobbed being unable to hold her tears back. rory grabbed shay's face and tried to wipe her tears, but they wouldn't stop. "baby, you are not at fault here. darrian is the problem, not you, okay?" shay nodded her head, but she didn't feel like it was true. she had to have done something that ddot didn't like for him to step out of their relationship.

dd and notti have never seen shayera cry or even be hurt about anything before. this was such a speechless moment for them. out of the three girls, shayera was the tough one. she never cried, never worried about anything or let anyone or anything phase her. well, that was their perception of her anyway.

juvia looked at her friends saddened face and immediately wanted to cry with her. everything shay is feeling, juvia feels the same way. she was still in disbelief about how notti could do that to her. "shay shay, you wanna come back to my place?" juvia asked as she rubbed shay's back in attempts to console her. "we can cry and watch all your favorite movies." juvia smiled trying to cheer shayera up. "and eat as much ice cream as you want!" rory smiled. "we can listen to all of aboogie's songs too."

shay slightly smiled at her best friends. she was beyond grateful to the two girls. "yeah, let's do that."

shayera cried as she took another spoonful of her cookies and cream ice cream while contemplating her decisions. "look, i can't tell you what to do, but as someone who is in your shoes right now. don't block ddot on everything just yet." juvia advised. "why not?" shayera asked as she wiped her eyes for what felt like the hundredth time today.

"because you need to talk to him to get some sort of closure." shayera rolled her eyes at juvia as she ate some more ice cream. "you can roll your eyes all you want, but you know i'm right." juvia shrugged her shoulders before she leaned back onto her bed.

a hard knock could be heard on juvia's bedroom door. juvia rolled her eyes. "what kay?" she asked annoyed that he was home. "damn, fuck a nigga can't come in here?" kay asked with a mug. "oh, y'all good?" kay's tone changed once he took in the atmosphere. shayera was sitting there bawling her eyes out with tub of ice cream with rory and juvia on the side of her. "ddot cheated on me." shayera spoke plainly as if it didn't affect her, but her tears showed otherwise.

"the fuck is up with them oy niggas. they dumb as fuck." kay spoke as he sat on juvia's bed. "don't let his dumbass actions change how you view yo self. him cheating has nothing to do with you, but everything to do with him." kay smiled at shay who smiled back at his words. "aw kaykay, you so sweet." she laughed as she wiped her tears. "i'm foreal doe. had to tell juju the same shit just a month ago."

juvia rolled her eyes at kay's last statement. "anywho kevin, this is about shay, not me." kay waved her off. "talk that shit out though." shayera furrowed her brows at kay. "ian saying that in a 'get back with him' way. y'all know damn well ion condone cheating. but you needa hear him out to help you move on." shay frowned at kay's words. "but i can heal on my own. i don't need to hear his reasons on why he cheated or who he cheated on me with." she began to tear up.

"i don't want him to tell me it was a mistake and that he loves me so much. i don't want to hear him lie to me. if he cheated on me willingly and knowingly, he does not love me. that is not love and i know it. i will not subject myself to his words just because y'all think it'll help me feel better." rory, juvia and kay shared the same thought. "she's going to change her mind."

juvia and rory know shayera like the back of their hands. in about two days, she'll want to talk to ddot, but she will stand on what she said at the same time. no matter what he says to her, nothing will change the fact that he cheated on her. shay can forgive a lot of things, but being cheated on isn't one of them. no matter who it is.

"ight ight, do whateva you think is best fa you. y'all hungry doe? momma about to cook." juvia scrunched her face up. "momma here too? none of yall were supposed to be here tonight." juju spoke annoyed. kay shrugged his shoulders not caring about his sisters attitude. "you know what, imma talk to momma dee about it." shay spoke climbing over rory with her tub of halfway melted ice cream in her hand. juvia and rory sighed knowing that diana was going to say exactly what they and kay have been saying to shay all evening.

juvia grabbed her phone off her nightstand and saw that dd texted her a hour ago asking if she'd unblock notti and call him. "imma meet yall in the kitchen." she said to rory and kay who just nodded their heads and went to the kitchen.

once juvia heard her door shut, she let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding. she went to her block list and unblocked notti's number. she hesitantly clicked on the message icon and sent him a quick message. dd definitely said to call notti, but juvia wasn't in the mood to be on the phone.

unfortunately for her, notti disregarded her message and immediately called her. juvia sighed as she clicked the answer button.

let's get married by partynextdoor played lowly in notti's background. juvia smiled as she heard her favorite song. "the test results came back, they say it's positive." notti's voice brought juvia out of her song trance. "so, you actually were drugged." juvia mumbled as she quickly got out of bed.

"yeah..." notti trailed off trying to think of something else to say. "so, what now?" he asked. juvia could be seen running down her steps with a conflicting facial expression. "i don't know." she sighed. "i need to talk to rory. i'll call you back, okay?" notti's facial expression saddened, but he nodded his head hoping she actually would call him back, or at least text him.

juvia hung up the phone with the same heavy heart she had when she found out notti cheated. as she made her way towards the kitchen, she saw rory sitting on the couch watching some hallmark movie your mom has on as background noise. juvia sat next to rory and sighed. she was getting tired of sighing.

"what's wrong?" rory asked as she turned to look at her friend. "ethan said the test results are positive. so he was drugged." rory's eyes got wide knowing that her assumption was actually correct. "wow, that's crazy. i wonder who drugged him." juvia shrugged her shoulders. "could've been anybody." rory shot juvia a sympathetic look. "well, what do you plan on doing know that you know he was drugged?" she asked.

"i- i don't know." juvia sighed for the umpteenth time. "i feel like i should get back with him because now i know he didn't willingly cheat on me, but just because he didn't do it willingly doesn't erase the pain i've been feeling." she frowned. "i love him more than i'd like to admit, but i can't bring myself to get back with him. i just can't." a few tears fell down juvia's brownskin. she quickly wiped them away not seeing why she was crying.

rory frowned at her friend. "you don't have to get back with him, honey." she rubbed juvia's shoulder. "take all the time you need. like you said, just because he was drugged, doesn't change the hurt he unintentionally caused you." juvia nodded at rory's words.

"but, if down the line you do choose to get back with notti, just know i will wholeheartedly support you and your decision. your happiness is a top priority for me." rory smiled at her friend. juvia returned the smile and hugged her.

"not y'all hugging without me!" shay giggled and she tackled her bestfriends with a hug. juvia began crying feeling the love from two of her favorite people. "i really love you guys." juvia smiled as she wiped her eyes, but that didn't stop the tears from coming out. "we love you too, juvia." shayera smiled. "without you too, i don't know where i'd be."

"no foreal though. y'all have gotten me through some crazy stuff." rory added. "our little trio has been through it the past couple of months." shayera sighed thinking about how her and juvia both got cheated on. "after talking to momma dee, imma take all yall advice and talk to darrian. i do deserve to get some sort of closure, but i'm not getting back with him and i still don't want to know who he cheated on me with."

"do you wanna call him now?" juvia asked shay who shrugged her shoulders in response. shayera pulled her phone out and unblocked ddot's number. "i wish that when you block someone and then unblock them, you get all their crash out messages." shay laughed just thinking about all the crazy shit ddot sent her.

"yoooo, i'm already knowin darrian was in his room throwing shit around." rory laughed as she leaned onto juvia. "well, here goes nothing!" shayera clicked the call button and waited for the call to connect. "shayera, what the fuck did you block me for? ian do shit to you!" ddot yelled out in irritation.

shayera jerked her head back at ddot's tone of voice. "and then you had the nerve to unshare your lo and block me on everything. the fuck is ya problem?" shayera shook her head ignoring everything ddot just said to her. "darrian, why did you cheat on me?" the line went quiet.

the three girls made eye contact and juvia and rory could see the tears build up in shay's eyes. shayera knew that rory and juvia didn't lie to her about ddot cheating, but hearing his silence made everything feel ten times worse. she quickly wiped her eyes. she had no intention of letting ddot know he hurt her deeply.

"so you can't talk now?" she asked, her voice sounding hoarse. she rolled her eyes at herself hearing her voice. "look darrian, just answer my question and we can go our separate ways and never speak to each other again." the line continued to be silent. shayera didn't feel like she could hold her tears in anymore. "since you don't have the fucking decency to answer my question, i'm hanging up." and with that, the call ended.

rory and juvia immediately engulfed shayera in a hug as she loudly weeped. "why did he do this to me?" she cried hugging her friends tighter. shayera couldn't believe it. ddot was her first everything and he just betrayed her like it was nothing. he couldn't even answer her question.

juvia felt her own eyes fill with tears. she tried her hardest to ignore them, but she couldn't. everything shayera is feeling, juvia felt that just a few weeks ago. the questioning herself, her self worth, whether or not she was enough. it was hard to go through, but it's harder to watch your friend go through it too.

the girls released from the hug. juvia grabbed shayera face. "you aren't to blame shay. i promise it's not your fault." the frown on shay's face got deeper. "it is juju." shayera put her face in her hands and cried even harder. "i did something. him cheating is all on me." rory began to feel herself tear up too. she may not be going through what shay and juvia are going through, but these were her best friends, her sisters even and she felt every emotion they felt.

"shay," rory frowned feeling warm tears roll down her face. "you and juvia are the most precious and loving people i have ever had the pleasure of knowing. darrian and ethan cheating on y'all has nothing to do with y'all at all." juvia felt herself start to cry more hearing rory's words.

rory knew that even though juvia was comforting shay, juvia still wasn't healed from what notti did. just three weeks ago they were in this same predicament with juvia. crying on the couch in the living room trying to figure out what was so wrong with her that notti had to cheat on her.

"i need you guys to know that they won't be the only niggas to love you." rory pulled the girls in for yet another group hug. "they were the first, but not the last. i know this feels like the end of the world because it is, but once you overcome this, you'll come out on top and they'll be watching and regretting everything they've done to you. you are the prize, not them. remember that."
