‘’ Chace what?’’ I spluttered out.

‘’Chace. Needs. A. Place. To. Stay.’’ Jen said slowly as if I was an idiot.

‘’I know what you said….but why?’’

I still stood in the doorway looking between Jen and the God in my bed. My bed. Chace is on my bed. The bed I sleep on. The bed I fantasise about him on. The bed where I want him to take my virg-.

I shook the thoughts out of my head. You’re getting way ahead of yourself there Verlane. Keep your mind on the problem at hand and not the problem in your pants!

‘’Ah… My room at home is being renovated and my sister already took the spare room.’’ He smiled sheepishly while rubbing the back of his neck.

‘’He mentioned it at work and seeing as I couldn’t invite him to my house ‘cause I’m staying here… tada! Here we are.’’ Jen grinned up at me while opening her arms at the word ‘tada’.

‘’Uh…’’ I looked between the both before Chace jumped off my bed still rubbing his neck.

‘’I can go… I’ll just share with Lilly.’’

The name Lilly made me widen my eyes. That’s the girl Chace is with!

‘’No no! You can stay here! We have enough room I mean…’’ I looked to Jen for help while I secretly flailed my arms.

I didn’t want Chace with Lilly. They may be dating but that doesn’t mean I don’t like him and don’t want him sharing a house with me.

‘’Ah thank God. Lilly can get a little annoying.’’ He chuckled.

‘’Welp! I’m hungry?’’ Jen walked towards the door and out of the bedroom but not without giving me a sneaky high five behind my back.

We stood in a awkward silence for a few minutes before Jen’s banshee yelling made us both slightly jump.

‘’Peasant! I want din dins!’

‘’Make it yourself Jen!’’ I called back as I slumped onto the edge of my bed.

‘’You dare defy me peasant!? Don’t make me dress Boris up.’’

I sighed and face palmed. Why? Why me?

‘’B-Boris? What kind of a name is that?’’ Chace got out in between his heavenly, drool worthy laughs.

‘’Yes. Boris is my very loyal sidekick turtle. Don’t diss him or he’ll be taking your bed.’’ I pointed at him as he bit his lip trying to stifle his laughter.

‘’Peasant!!!! I said I’m hungry!!!’’ Jen yelled again making me look away from Chace nawing on his bottom lip all sexily.

‘’Hungry?’’ I turned to Chace as I started walking to the door.

‘’Starving.’’ He smiled and followed me out into the kitchen.

An hour and a half later and I was serving up dinner. Now I’m no master chef but I make a very very good sautéed mushroom focaccia.

‘’mmmmmmm’’ Jen moaned as she bit into her focaccia.

‘’This is really good Tommy.’’ Chace smiled at me before biting into his again.

‘’T-thanks.’’ A light blush painted by cheeks before I slowly bit into mine too.

I remember making focaccia in year 11 in hospitality. Easy. Garlic focaccia bread with sautéed mushrooms, pizza sauce, pickled artichokes and cheese then put in a sandwich press until the cheese melts.

‘’Tommy ! Baby! Be my wife!!’’ Jen was still moaning all over the table eating her food while Chace and I ate like normal people.

‘’No.’’

‘’But baby!’’ she whined and Chace looked between us.

‘’So you guys are dating?’’ Chace asked, making me choke on an artichoke.

No wonder they’re called artichokes. Stupid things. I mentally pimp slapped the delicously mouth watering food.

‘’W-what!?’’ I yelled while rubbing my chest.

‘’You guys.’’ He pointed between Jen and I. ‘’ You guys are dating right? I always kinda thought it but Jen I thought you said that he-‘’

‘’LALALALALALALALALA’’ Jen suddenly yelled.

‘’The fuck Jen?’’ I covered my ears and Chace winced.

‘’Well look at the time. Ten o’clock.  I better go visit my baby Johnny Depp in Dreamland.’’ She scurried off and up the stairs.

Chace gave me a questioning look and I just shook my head. I had no words for Jen’s behaviour. I’ve known her since I was in diapers and I still don’t understand her random outbursts.

‘’I guess I’ll get your room ready.’’ I smiled at him before taking all the plates to the sink.

Stupid dishes. Who the fuck invented them. Seriously. I should just buy paper plates and paper cups with plastic forks and knives. Maybe some sporks while I’m at it. Yeah. That’s a good idea.

‘’Tommy?’’ Chace asked as he stared at me from behind the wooden six seat table.

‘’Huh? Yeah?’’

‘’You were kinda starring off into space and grinning weirdly.’’

‘’Sorry. Thinking about ruling the world with sporks.’’ I widened my eyes and covered my mouth.

So stupid! I scolded myself as Chace chuckled and shook his head.

‘’You really are weird. It’s cute though.’’ He smiled softly and tilted his head, making me blush furiously and run up the stairs quickly.

C-cute!? What? Why? I opened the door to mum’s bedroom but Jen was already sleeping in there. What is she doing!?

‘’Jennifer!’’ I whispered as I shook her.

‘’Huh?’’ He looked at me sleepily.

‘’Get out! Where is Chace gunna sleep?’’

‘’With you.’’ She grinned mischievously while wiggling her brows.

‘’W-what?’’

‘’Get out Tommy baby I’m tired.’’ She rolled over and I just stood there looking at her.

She can’t be serious right? Me… sleep with Chace? I blushed at the thought and went out of the room.

‘’ Chace’’ I gasped as he stood against the wall.

‘’ Tommy.’’ He laughed softly shaking his head at me as I was grabbing my chest.

‘’Calm my poor heart’’ I whispered and glared at him. ‘’ Don’t do that! I could of died! Now how would my sporks have conquered the world if I was dead!?’’

By the end of my outburst he was doubling over laughing at me. Shaking my head I walked past him and straight to my room.

‘’We have to share. Her majesty and her fat ass have taken the other bed.’’ I stood at my door and let him in first.

‘’You’re bed’s pretty comfy so I’m lucky.’’ He grinned and walked in my room winking at me.

Did he just… No. Shaking my head again I walked into my room as I watched Chace take his shirt off over his head.

I felt like the world turned slow motion as he pulled his shirt over his head and his muscles rippled under his tanned skin. Holyshit if I watch this anymore I might just cum. Don’t judge me!

‘’Tommy?’’

‘’Yeah?’’ I said slightly breathless as he turned back to face me.

‘’Are you coming?’’ He climbed into my bed.

Nearly.

‘’Y-yeah.’’ I stuttered as I turned the light off and slowly walked towards him.

There was no way I was taking my clothes off. Not with him here. He may not be gay but I definitely felt inferior to his body and his eyes that always seemed to rake over everyone.

Slowly, I climbed onto my double bed and under the covers trying to not touch Chace as I did it.

It felt so warm with two people under here, I thought as I drifted off into a warm dream of lollipops and rainbows and all things happy.

Chace’s POV

I smiled at how fast he went to sleep with a smile on his face. He really was cute. So small and helpless. Every little thing I do changes his emotions in a flash.

‘’If only you knew.’’ I whispered as I wrapped my arms around his small frame and pulled him to my chest.

If only you knew.
