''Goodbye Mrs Verlane!'' Jen yelled and waved as she pulled me off my mum.

''You take care of my baby Jennifer Lee Kartel!'' Mum dried her tears and stared at Jen seriously.

'' For the bazillionth time I will Muma Verlane'' She threw her arms over my shoulders and grinned.

''I'm trusting you with my baby Jen. I'll see you in a few months.'' She smiled and put an emphasis on the word 'see' before she kissed out foreheads and got in the back of the taxi.

''Don't do anything I wouldn't do!'' She yelled out of the window and waved at us until the car couldn't be seen anymore.

''I'm going to miss her Jen'' My shoulder's slumped.

''Baby that's why you've got me! Come on. Let's go inside. I need help unpacking my stuff!'' She kissed me on the cheek and dragged me inside by my arms as I groaned.

Jen was staying with me for the next few months while mum was away. It was about the only thing I was looking forward to. Jen always slept over. Geez she practically lived here but she was way too overly excited when I told her she could really live here while mum was gone.

''Tommy! My bags aren't going to unpack themselves!'' She yelled while tugging my arm again.

''Geez woman. I'm coming.'' I mumbled while she basically skipped all the way to my room.

''I don't know why you don't just take mum's room.''

''Because then we can't share body heat and we can't do this!'' She ran to my ipod dock and turned on Blood On The Dance Floor's S my D then started jumping around my small black and blue themes room.

'' If I get your kiss

I'm another to the list

Let's take it slow

Don't wanna be a hoe

I'm probably gonna lick

Feel you up until you drip

'Cause you make me nervous

I don't wanna make a slip'' She sang along making me laugh when she gestured to herself and me.

''Do you like my sexy hair?'' She flipped her hair 'sexily' and stared at me.

''I'm not wearing any underwear.'' I finally joined in and screamed the lyrics along with my best friend making up our own dance moves.

''S my D

Pop it out like lipstick

Razor sharp eyelashes

Now my fashion just thrashes

In death star BLACK!''

An hour later of BOTDF and destroying my previously clean room, we collapsed on the floor panting for breath.

''Well that was my workout for the year.'' Jen huffed beside me.

''I'm Hungary.'' I whined.

''Maybe you should go Czech the fridge...''

''I'm Russian to the kitchen!'' I screamed running for the promised land. aka....my kitchen.

''Is there any Turkey!?!?!'' She yelled running behind me and plopping herself down on a bar stool at the bench.

''We have some, but it's covered in a layer of Greece.'' I glared into the half empty fridge.

''Ew. There's Norway you can eat that.'' She screwed up her face and rested her head in her hands.

''Pft.'' We both broke out laughing as I pulled out the completely normal and healthy looking turkey slices.

''You really have turkey!?'' She cheered and jumped up and down in her seat like an excited puppy wagging its tail.

After our very delicious turkey and barbecue sauce sandwiches we finally got to unpacking.

''Let's order pizza and a movie.'' Jen finished placing her last lip gloss on my bathroom bench.

''Or you can stop being a fat ass and walk to Pizza Hut and Blockbuster with me.'' 

''Hey!'' She screamed and tackled me off the bed.

''Get off me fatty!''

''Never!'' She sat on my back and bounced up and down.

''I'm...going...to...die!'' I yelled out through breaths and bounces.

''Come on Tommy! I want a scary movie night!'' She whined.

''Then get off!'' I pushed her off of me and jumped to my feet and ran for the door.

''Geez wait for me bish!'' She ran after me.

''Lock the door please'' I checked to make sure I had my keys and waited for her at our sexy brick mailbox.

I heard the door click shut and Jen run down the steps and out to me smiling.

''So how's the obsession?'' She asked, wrapping her fingers in mine.

''What obsession?'' I looked away from her to see a little Shih Tzu puppy playing in a hedge. I never like Shih Tzus. So ugly.

''Come on Tommy! The Chace obsession!'' She whisper yelled while tugging on my hand.

''How much could it change in twenty-four hours?''

''I don't know. Maybe he same to your house late at night and knocked on your window... then you let him in and he fell on you while climbing in....then you kissed and then he carried you to bed and you-'' I slammed my hand over her mouth.

''Jen!'' I yelled in disbelief that she would ever mention that secret dream again, but she wiggled her brows suggestively.

'' You're unbelievable'' I shook my head and walked towards the big red and white Pizza Hut sign.

''Oh Tommy! You know you want him. You want his hot, drool worthy muscles all against you. You want him to touch your nono square and you want him to make you scream!''

''Jennifer!!'' I screamed in disbelief, earning the attention of an elderly couple.

I mouthed a sorry to the couple and dragged a giggling Jen the rest of the way to the pizza version of the promised land.

'' I love pizza.''  Jen drooled in front of the hot guy trying to take our order.

''Uh...Jen. You got a little something...'' I pointed to her chin and she wiped the imaginary drool.

''So can I take your order?'' The guy asked but I could tell he was really asking Jen even though I always order because Jen has no idea about pizzas.

Typical guys.

Jen was absolutely stunning. She has flawless skin, big blue eyes, pink pouty lips, a good body and long blonde hair. How she is still single is anyone's guess.Oh wait... that's right... because the way she acts around me.

''Baby! Let's hurry up and order the pizza already! I'm hungry and I wanna go get the movies.'' She pulled and tugged my arm.

''Jen'' I groaned and shrugged her off making the guy look at me like I just grew two heads.

''Tomy. Order it.'' she whined

''Okay okay.'' I rubbed my temples and she kissed my cheek as usual.

''Can we get a large deep pan pizza with chicken and a barbecue sauce base please?'' I smiled at the guy and he nodded while I gave him the money.

'' Tommy, while we wait lets get the movies now.'' Jen said excitedly as she pulled me to the door.

After 15 minutes of fighting about if plain or caramel popcorn was better to buy, even though we were about to get pizza, we decided that caramel was the best and went with that. Only then did we actually move from the counter at the door to the movie section, where we would fight for another 10 minutes.

Happily walking away from the movie rental store with our popcorn and scary movies, we made our way back to pick up the pizza. It was now dark but that didn't stop me from seeing something absolutely horrible. Something terrible. Something I wished I had never seen. Maybe my heart wouldn't have shattered at the hands that were intertwined if I had never taken my time. One of the hands I wanted in mine, not hers. Chace's.

''Tommy?'' Jen asked worriedly until she followed my eyes to Chace who was now walking towards us smiling at the giggling girl.

I hate her. I've never met her and I already wanted her to live alone forever. I hope her heart breaks a thousand times over and she never finds love.

''Hey guys.'' Chace's smooth voice was accompanied by the still giggling brunette.

''Hey Chace. We gotta go. Movie night. I'll see you at work tomorrow.'' She smiled awkwardly and then pulled me into the pizza smelling shop.

''Baby?'' Jen cooed and wrapped me in a hug that only my best friend can give

''Let's go home.''

''Okay baby. I'll get the pizza.'' She smiled softly and took the pizza off the guy and ran back to me and we walked home in silence, her hand wrapped around mine.

''You've barely touched your pizza.''

''I'm not hungry.'' I pushed my half eaten pizza slice away from me and curled up tighter in my thick white blanket on our coffee brown six seat L shape couch.

''Okay... do you wanna watch Mama first or The House At The End Of The Street?'' She sat up excitedly and grabbed the movies, holding up their covers towards me.

''Mama. Definitely.'' I smiled softly and pointed to the left cover.

''This is going to be so good!'' She squealed while putting the DVD in the player, turning the lights off and then curling up next to me munching on our favourite popcorn.

''Never again.'' Jen stared at the credits horrified.

''Agreed.'' I nodded.

''Well next movie!'' She cheered and I couldn't help but laugh.

I loved that Jen could change her emotions so easily. I knew she was worried and trying hard not to make me think about today, but it was so hard. It was hard not to look away from their happiness. It was so hard to think it was wrong when they looked so right. So socially acceptable. The way a girl and boy should look.

The way two boys shouldn't.

''Come one me baby! Hug me!'' Jen whined as she plopped down on the sofa again.

''You treat me like a whipped boyfriend. Go find a straight guy already.'' I shook my head and wrapped my arms around her stomach as she leaned into me.

''You're all I need.'' She said quietly as the screen illuminated her saddened yet determined expression.

''Go to sleep Jen. You have work tomorrow.''

''Come with me. You can sit in my office.'' She looked  up to me silently begging.

I knew he would be there but he wouldn't see me in the office I guess. Jen being the manager had its good times.

''Sure. Now go to sleep.'' I kissed her forehead and that was all it took before both of us fell to sleep.

Tomorrow will be a long day.
