Tommy’s POV

I woke up caged into a chest, my heart beating erratically until I realised it was Chaces shirtless chest I was looking at and not some creepers. My heart stuttered to a flutter.

I couldn’t help myself as I moved my fingers up to rest on his smooth flesh, his muscular chest slowly raising and falling, soft sleep filled breathes blowing through my hair. This was what I yearned for every day.

My eyes closed peacefully just wanting to wrap this moment up in a box and keep it forever, but all good things must end.

‘’Tommy, you awake?’’ Chace’s husky voice drowned my ears and I wanted to pretend I was asleep just to let it last a little longer but his hand soon started to weave in and out of my hair and I couldn’t help the small moan of appreciation that rumbled from me making Chace laugh out a ‘’I’ll take that as a yes.’’

‘’I’m tired.’’

‘’We’ve been sleeping for’’ Chace checked his watch ‘’ten hours now. Come on.’’ He rubbed my hip and coaxed me out of my beautiful bed.

I felt like my bed was crying for me to stay, blankets wrapped and tangled in my legs greedily sucking me back but Chace was having none of that as he held my hand and lead me over to the bathroom.

‘’Go have a shower I’ll make breakfast today.’’ I nodded and he kissed my forehead a second before exiting the small tiled room leaving me to think of last night.

After chace had said he loved me, I damn near broke down. I don’t know if I was going for hysteric laughter or hysteric crying but before I could choose we both heard the unmistakable squeal of Chris and the running of two sets of feet down the hall.

I secretly thanked them for breaking the tension as we both had laughed a little and settled into bed. I guess we were going to talk today and I felt a little better about it that we had woken up so comfortably.

Turning off the shower and walking out of the bathroom now clothed in clean grey sweats and a white plain t-shirt I walked towards the kitchen where I took in the heavenly smell of French toast sprinkled with cinnamon.

‘’You’re drooling.’’ I unconsciously wiped my chin and heard Chace laughing as he plated up the god sent breakfast food.

‘’Thanks.’’

‘’No problem.’’ He smiled and we took our plates up to my bedroom.

We ate on my bed in a comfortable silence until I saw movement on the end of the bed and almost jumped out of my skin. I couldn’t help but jump into Chace’s lap yelling, squealing and slapping his chest and arms telling him to kill it, whatever it is.

‘Okay, okay Tommy you gotta get off then, come on.’’ He groaned at his reddening chest while he moved the blanket a bit and out popped a stunned head.

‘’Oh my baby!’’ I dove for my baby and almost cried. ‘’I’m so sorry Boris! Please forgive me! You will won’t you? I didn’t mean to leave you. I just forgot! Oh my god I’m such a bad mother!’’

Hands patted my back and I looked over at Chace giving me a small smile and shaking his head.

‘’You think this is funny?’’ I growled and pushed him off the bed as he laughed.

‘’My baby I’m so sorry here you go.’’ He settled happily into his tank trudging straight to the deep pond that lead to a cave under his elevated area of land so he had plenty of room to swim around and hide in the little water plants. I admit it. I spent a lot of money building this tank for my baby and he deserved every rock and cup of water it took to fill this thing.

‘’Who’s this little guy?’’

‘’What?’’ I didn’t want to take my eyes off my baby boy Borris as he swum around but curiosity had me looking over to Chace hold up and beat up old teddy.

‘’Benny! I thought I lost you!’’

‘’Benny?’’ He laughed when I launched myself at him and sat in his lap as he held my childhood teddy bear in his hands looking over the light brown memory with a frayed red bow coming undone.

‘’Yeah. My mum gave him to me just after my dad left. He never liked the fact that I was gay so my mum kicked him out and she went straight to a shopping centre and bought me anything I wanted. All I wanted was something she picked out and she chose Benny.’’ I smiled at the memory.

‘’Your dad’s an asshole.’’

‘’Yeah, but mum always took care of me. I never needed a father figure when I had enough love coming from my mum to fill any hole I had in my heart.’’ Chace kissed my shoulder and rubbed my arm as I thought of every little thing my mum had done for me over the years.

‘’Your mum is an angel.’’

‘’Yeah. Thanks for all the observations.’’ I laughed and nudged his shoulder.

We fiddled around with Benny for a while just laughing and patting the bear, cooing at his cuteness and fixing up his bow.

‘’Hey Chace?’’ My fingers twitched nervously as I finished tying the bow again for the third time.

‘’Yeah?’’ He rested his head on my shoulder and ran his hands over my fidgety ones.

‘’What are we?’’

‘’What do you mean?’’

‘’This.’’ I turned my right hand over to show his fingers that had laced with mine and he sighed.

‘’Whatever you want us to be.’’ He kissed my shoulder again before making a displeased sound. ‘’But I’d really appreciate if you were my boyfriend and not just a today or occasional thing.’’

‘’I’d like that too.’’ I smiled down at Benny but Chace turned my head to look at him before planting his lips right on mine.

He seemed to like doing that.

‘’So you’ll be my boyfriend?’’ He broke the kiss and looked into my eyes switching between my left and right constantly looking for something.

My smile grew about tenfold before it faded and his brows furrowed confused and my fingers started twitching nervously in his again.

‘’What about…’’

‘’About?’’ His fingers danced over mine soothing them to stay still.

‘’Lily.’’ I grumbled and looked away from him.

‘’What about her?’’ He looked so confused and I couldn’t understand it.

Was he the type of guy to not care about cheating? Did he expect me to just date him behind closed doors? Did he expect me to be his dirty little secret?

No. Chace wouldn’t do that I kept repeating in my head.

‘’I wouldn’t do what?’’ I flushed at my big mouth always talking without my permission.

‘’Well she’s your girlfriend, right?’’ He pulled away from me a little looking over me and I flinched at his calculating eyes.

‘’Lily?’’ I nodded. ‘’Lily is my cousin staying with me at my house; well she’s staying in the guestroom with my sister because of the renovations. Who told you I was dating her?’’

‘’You two together though, your always so…. And Jen said….’’

‘’I’m the only family she’s got that doesn’t hate her completely for being a bitch and Jen is an evil witch.’’ I nodded in complete agreement at the last statement.

Jen was probably behind everything.

‘’Yep I agree with that too.’’

‘’I really have to work on my thoughts staying thoughts.’’ I grumbled and Chace laughed into my ear before kissing it and tapping my side.

‘’Come on get dressed.’’

‘’Why?’’

‘’Because normal people do that?’’

‘’I’m not normal.’’

‘’Well no, you’re not. But if I’m going to woo you into being my boyfriend I have to take you on a date.’’ He winked as he grabbed his duffel bag and left the room.

A date with Chace?

Holy crap.

I have nothing to wear!

Finally got an update ! Next chapter will be the date.

Do you guys think my writing style has changed? Is it better or worse?
