It all happened so fast, I couldn't even comprehend what happened..

Even thinking about it now seems like a bad nightmare, one you can always awake from,

But this is no nightmare, it's far worse...

And I cannot wake up from reality, can I?

Let's take a few steps behind shall we,

To single handedly the worst days of my life...

Flashback,

|| Friday, afternoon. ||

|| 9th of March ||

"Hey Kimi!" I ran over to my black haired friend walking infront of me

She immediately turns around to look at me with a sweet big smile,

"Hey. What's up?" She asked as I ran up to her,

"Nothing, but... You forgot to wait for me!" I playfully yelled at her,

"Oops." She said with a chuckle

"Are you going to apologize?" I asked her sweetly

"No." She bluntly responded as she left me there and continued walking

"W-wait!" I said as she crossed the road, I following not to far behind her,

She looked behind her playfully to see at the very corner of her eye,

A car from the side about to hit...

Me.

And to the rescue, she ran up to me, pushing me over to the side walk,

And that moment lasted a thousand years,

A car right about to hit her,

And...

Her looking at me,

With a sweet, sweet smile.

|| Bam! ||

"SOMEONE HELP! MY FRIEND'S DYING!!! ANYBODY PLEASE,

HELP!!!"

I cried into the streets, holding the smiling, red stained unconscious body of sweet Kimi...

|| Sunday, late evening ||

|| 11th of March ||

Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep...

Was the only thing I could hear in the long hours I spent cradling the silky soft hand of my love,
The only thing keeping me going was the soft rise and fall of her chest,

But the fact that she put her life one the line for me killed me inside,
This is all my fault,

My grandmother and sister worried about me,
But what could I do?

Leave my dear Kimi, who sacrificed her own life for mine!

I refused to eat,

Sleep,

Or leave the room...

I couldn't bear the thought of her waking up without me present to apologize,
Or to thank her,
Or maybe to confess...

Whatever I shall do when the moment arrives

I'll make sure it's for the better.

|| Monday, early morning ||

|| 12th of March ||

I slowly awoke from my short nap to see,

"K-kimi! Y-you're a-a-awake!" I cry as she looks at me with a smile...

"Y-yeah..." She responded quietly

As soon as I could I pulled her into a hug,

My feelings couldn't be helped...

I just love her so much.

Beep...... Beep......

Wait!

"K-kimi! You're, you're leaving me again!" I cried as her heart beat started to slow

"H-haruto..."

"Y-yes!" I replied desperatly

"I-I love... you..." She said with her final breath, her eyes dulling as she finished

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep....

"KIMI!"

she was gone.
