Chapter 13

***I apologize in advanced for any major spelling or grammatical mistakes if any. Ive typed most of this chapter on my phone because my laptop recieved a virus and it cannot be used any time soon. And its fairly difficult to type a chapter on my phone. So please bare with me. I wanted to at least post a little something so you wouldnt have to wait too long. Anyway enough of my rambling.***

An hour and a half. And hour and a half of cleaning up the mess of broken glass. The hour and a half of scrubbing a wine stain out of the cream carpet. And hour and a half of contemplating the situation that had taken place not too long ago. An hour and a half of wanting to invite them. Just to get on Mary's nerves. They were the closest thing to family I had had in just about twenty years. And they were going. No matter what the fuck Mary says.

Finally the mess was cleaned up. The stain wouldnt come out. I'll pay extra if need be to get it to the color it had previously been. I guess it was now time to find my fiancee. I love her with all my heart and I cant let her go. But shes so..so...heartless how can you deal with that? I mean, it could just be stress of everything. It'd make sense. Yeah. Sure. Thats what you want to think, Ryan. Why do I feel like that's something Brendon would say? Because it pretty much is. That's exactly what he thinks too. Just shut up Ryan. Dont make things worse on yourself. You cant say it isnt true. She's a bitch, and Brendon warned you ahead of time but you refused to listen. Now who's fault would that be? I don't care how she may seem to be. I love her, she loves me. Things will work out.

I quickly throw on my leather jacket and grab my keys, walking out if the motel door. The only sound praying on my ears was the chirping of crickets nearby and the occasional automobile passing at an outrageous speed.

"Broke ya didnt she?" His voice filled me ears causing me to jump. Looking to my left, I see his tall figure standing there about a foot away from me. Still wearing his same attire.

"Broke me?" I questioned his comment.

"Everyone heard your arguement. She broke you." I saw the corners of his mouth curl into a smirk.

"She didn't break me, Bren." I rolled my eyes and leaned my arms against the iron railing. "Just a misunderstanding is all."

"Misunderstanding, my ass. You're finally seeing her for how she really is. And it's killing you." He chuckled. I couldn't keep in my sigh annoyance that he was out here with me. But he didnt seem to care.

Not answering him, I make my way into the parking lot of  the place hoping to get away from him.

"Its killing you to know Im right. You'll see. And she'll break your fragile little heart." I sensed the bitterness in his voice as he shouted in my direction.

"You know what?!" I spin in my heel and glare at him. "I dont need this from you! Stay out of my personal life Urie! It's none of your business to being with!" Before I knew it, I started stomping my way over to him.  But he stood his ground. And it was like nothing of what I was saying was phasing him.

"Im just telling you the cold truth." His voice stayed calm as he spoke. "Its something you need to hear whether you like it or not."

"I dont need to hear it.  Any of it. I said stay out of it." I lift my arm up in an attempt to push him back but his hand gripped my wrist before I could do anything. "Stay away from my wedding. You hear me?" I struggled to get out of his grip and rubbed my wrist.

"Ryro!" Her high pitched voice rang out from behind me. "Im sorry, babe. Im back." Mary placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Its alright." I was still glaring intently at Brendon. He got on my nerves greatly tonight. "I was just telling Brendon here, that they werent invited to the wedding tomorrow."

"Oh!" A squeal of excitement escaped her lips. "Happy, happy news indeed!" Her grip on my shoulder tightened, causing me to scrunch up my face in pain. "I mean now technically our marriage is saved! This then calls for a toast, Ryan." Mary stepped in front of me trying to get my attention away from Brendon. She smiles her gorgeous smile and I already calmed my nerves down enough to where my fists were no longer clenched together into balls.

"Indeed it does." Brendon spoke up. I look back over to him, his same smirk was worn across his face. "My condolences Mary, but I'd like to have another word with Ross here. You know. Not going to be able to show up to the wedding and all, I'd like to recite my speech." He waved his hand around to give his statement a bit more of a dramatic effect.

"Go ahead then." Mary crossed her arms impatiently waiting for Brendon to get on with his 'speech'.

"I'd also like to apologize that it is only ment for his ears. Being what I assume would be the best man in this situation, it was a speech that was intended to be privately spoken to him." Mary sighed in annoyance and stomped her way into our motel room.

"Make it quick you two." She was staring intently at me as she said this. And with that she slammed the door, probably waking up the entire complex. Being that if there were anyone left still asleep.

"What about this 'speech' you speak of?" I held up my index and middle finger as if using quotes on the word speech.

Brendon stepped closer towards me an spoke with a low momotone voice. "Do what you want. Just know that I will reveal her for what a who she really is. At the wedding if need be." I tried to but in, but to no prevail I ended up staying quiet. "Though unable to see the truth in what's ahead of them, knows where they stand on what's destined for what to come." Now I swear Brendon was just going completely bonkers. His last statement didnt even make any sense. Then again. Come to think about it, he rarely ever made sense.

I roll my eyes and sigh as Brendon walked in the other direction. I couldnt help but to notice a slight limp in his step as he leaned on his cane for support. He wasn't walking like that earlier, was he?

Shaking the thought out of my head, I walk back into the motel room where Mary was waiting for me. One last good night sleep before the stressful day lay ahead of me. For I was in fact, going to be a married man.
