Vijay's POV

"Vijay, le Vijay!" Ayu shakes me.

"Vijay, get up Vijay!" Ayu shakes me.

"Abba, five minutes Ayu." I groan.

"Ugh, five minutes Ayu." I groan.

"Ganta nunchi ade chepthunnav. Ippudu lesthava leda?"

"You've been saying that for an hour. Will you wake up now or not?"

"Five minutes Ayu, lestha."

"I'll wake up in five minutes Ayu."

I don't hear anything. Smiling, I snuggle closer into the pillow I'm hugging when suddenly, I feel freezing cold water on my. I get up, shouting and see Ayu in front of me, a mug in her hand.

"Hm, inka velli ready avvu." She says.

"Hm, go get ready now." She says.

I grab her hand and pull her into me as she turns around. She lets out a squeal of surprise as she drops the mug.

I shake my head, causing the water on my hair to splash onto her.

"Vijay! Vijay vaddu, ippude snanam chesa!" Ayu squeals.

"Vijay! Vijay no, I just took a shower!" Ayu squeals.

She somehow manages to get out of my grasp. I chuckle as I watch my wife glare at me before running out of the room.

Yes, I said wife. Ayu and I got married over a year ago. It took me about six months to recover from the bullet wounds and Ayu was there with me every step of the way. I proposed to her a bit after that and we got married as soon as horoscopes permitted, which was two months after my proposal. Nivi was completely ecstatic at the thought of having a mom. She and Ayu bonded really well and it warms my heart to see Ayu taking care of Nivi like her own daughter. Aarthi and Nivi became best friends, and even better, sisters. I absolutely love Aarthi, she's a sweet girl. We decided Aarthi will live with us, though Nani was not too happy with that. He does come and visit often though.

Today, we are going over to Charan's place for lunch. After the birth of Abhinav, their son, and my nephew, Ishika got home from the hospital yesterday with the baby. We decided to give them a bit of time, more like 24 hours, to get acclimated before we decided to visit. In the end, they invited us over for lunch.

I park the car and the four of us get out. We walk into the house and notice we are the last ones.

"Abba, last ki vachara." Charan says, coming over to greet us.

"Finally, you guys came." Charan says, coming over to greet us.

"Sir gaaru mari late ga lesaru." Ayu says, nodding her head towards me.

"Sir here woke up very late." Ayu says, nodding her head towards me.

"Madam valla late ga padukunna." I reply, winking. Ayu turns bright red and smacks my arm before walking away.

"Madam kept me up late." I reply, winking. Ayu turns bright red and smacks my arm before walking away.

Charan chuckles as we all walk into the living room. Everyone surrounds Ishi and the baby. I walk over to see my nephew. He looks absolutely gorgeous.

After lunch, we all sit down and just talk. Nani suddenly stands up, grabbing all our attention.

"Oka announcement undi." He says.

"I have an announcement." He  says.

Everyone looks at him, confused. He looks at me and I give him a reassuring nod, which he returns. He slowly walks over to Pallu, who looks at him, utterly confused until he gets down on one knee.

"Pallavi, ninnu first time choosinappude neetho love lo padipoya. Aa roju nuvvu na life loki raakapoyinte ippudu nenu intha happy ga unde vaadini kaadu. Neetho gadipina prathi kshanam eppatiki marchipolenu. Ilaanti moments inka enno neetho gadapali ani aasa paduthunna." He pulls out the ring. "Nannu pelli chesukuntava?"

"Pallavi, I fell in love with you the first time I saw you. If you had not come into my life that day, I would not be this happy now. I will never forget the moments I've spent with you. I wish to spend many more moments with you." He pulls out the ring. "Will you marry me?"

We all hold our breaths, waiting for Pallavi to reply. She has tears in her eyes as she nods and flings herself onto Nani, hugging him tightly. We all cheer and clap as Nani puts the ring onto her finger.

I knew this was going to happen. Nani had asked me a few days ago if he could propose and I immediately said yes. I know they've been seeing each other and they could not be more perfect for each other. I know Nani will take care of my Pallu.

Ayu stands up and clears her throat.

"Naakkuda oka announcement undi." She says.

"I also have an announcement." She says.

We all quiet down. I look at her, confused and slightly worried. She looks at me and gives me a small smile before pulling something out of her bag. It's an ultrasound and a pregnancy test...with two lines...

I stand up and scream in joy as I run to her, asking her with my eyes if it's real. She nods, tears pouring down her face as I pick her up and spin her around. Everyone cheers once more, for us, as I set her down and cup her face in my hands, moving closer to kiss her.

"Chi, baby, chinna pillalu unnaru ikkada!" Nivi exclaims.

"Yuck, baby, there are little kids here!" Nivi exclaims.

I pull away as everyone starts laughing. I look around as I laugh, looking at the people around me. These are the people that I trust with my life, the ones that I love more than anything else. This is my family and I couldn't ask for a better one than them.
