Vijay's POV

"Baby, le baby." Nivi shakes me.

"Baby, wake up baby." Nivi shakes me.

"Abba. Padukoni baby." I grown in response.

"Ugh. Let me sleep baby." I grown in response.

I hear laughter around me.

"Atha, baby chinnapudu kuda ilage undevada?" Nivi asks.

"Aunty, was baby like this when he was younger?" Nivi asks.

"Chinnapudu nunchi ilane." I hear Pallavi reply.

"He was like this since childhood." I hear Pallavi reply.

Everyone laughs again.

"Rey Vijay. Le ra." Charan says this time.

"Hey Vijay. Get up man." Charan says this time.

I groan in response. I hear silence, and relax. Unfortunately, I shouldn't have done that, because Pallavi and Ishika became little kids again.

I feel ice-cold water on me, and I bolt up, gasping.

I hear laughter all around me and I playfully glare at everyone.

"Baby! Lechavu!" Nivi says.

"Baby! You woke up!" Nivi says.

I grab her into my arms and give her a big, tight, wet hug.

"Baby!" she squeals.

We all laugh at her face. I let go of Nivi and stand up, grabbing my water bottle that was next to me. I smile at Pallavi and Ishika, and they know what will happen.

"Anna. Vaddu. Memu snanam chesamu." Ishika says, backing away.

"Anna. No. We already finished our shower." Ishika says, backing away.

"Oh! Sare le. nenu mee iddarini vadilestunna." I say.

"Oh! Ok then. I'll leave you two." I say.

They both let out a sigh and relax. In one motion, I throw the water at both of them and run.

We all get into the car. I sit next to Charan so I can catch up with my best friend for the next 11 hours. Pallu and Ishu sit in the back with Nivi. We decided to drive instead of take a flight, so we can talk and enjoy a long drive. Mithra loved taking long drives. Especially on the bike, when we went from Hyderabad to Banglore. She enjoyed them very much.

I wipe the tears that came into my eyes. Charan glances at me from the corner of his eye.

"Emaiyindi ra?" he asks.

"What happened man?" he asks.

"Em ledu ra." I say.

"Nothing man." I say.

"Vijay." he says in a warning tone. "Nuvvu naa deggare emi dachalevura."

"Vijay." he says in a warning tone. "You can't hide anything from me."

"Mithraki long drives chaala ishtam ra." I say.

"Mithra used to love long drives." I say.

He sighs.

"Baada padakura. Mithra kachithanga dorukuthundi." he assures me.

"Don't worry. We will find Mithra no matter what." he assures me.

I smile, and Pallu speaks.

"Anna, anthakshari adudham." she says happily.

"Anna, lets play anthakshari." she says happily.

And we do. We play anthakshari for almost 2 whole hours. Then, the girls sleep and Charan and I catch up. Nivi says she's hungry, so we stop for lunch at a restaurant. We all sit at the table, Charan sits next to me, and Ishu sits next to Pallu. Nivi sits between me and Ishu, at the end of the table. I look at all of them. Pallu and Charan are talking together. Nivi is on Ishu's phone. I look at Ishu, who is staring straight. Staring right next to me...at Charan, who is glancing at ishu every five seconds.

I smile knowingly. I will have to talk to the both of them later.

But, I am happy. My happy family...

Hey guys! So I know, short chapter, but I was working on this one chapter for close to a week and a half as of today. I start writing a sentence, and don't know how to continue after that. It was not easy to write this chapter, but I finally managed to do it, so yay me! Lol. Anyways, the usual, please comment, vote, and follow me if you like this book and chapter.

I am currently working on many new books(I have like 5 drafts), but I want to finish at least one book that I already published before publishing another. My goal is to finish at least one book before October 31. Hopefully I will🤞
