Vijay's POV

I walk into Mithra's dream house with my two sisters and my best friend.

"Kurchondi." I say to them.

"Sit." I say to them.

"Rey, ilanti samaskaralu, chetha, chedarangam aapu. Iddi maa illu, memu nee guests emi kaadu." Charan says.

"Hey, stop this shit. This is practically our house, we aren't guests." Charan says.

I smile. "Uh- tea...coffee?" I ask, looking around.

"Rey rey rey! Ippude aapu ani cheppa kada ra!" Charan says.

"Hey hey hey! I just told you to stop this!" Charan says.

I laugh.

"Sorry ra. Cheyyaleka undalekapoyanu." I say.

"Sorry man. I couldn't stop myself from doing that." I say.

Charan rolls his eyes playfully. I just chuckle. I sit down, and we all catch up for some time. After a while, we decide to watch a movie.

Pallavi on one side of me and Ishika on the other side. Both of them hug me, their head on my each of my shoulders. It reminds me of the time when dad had left, and mom had passed out. We had rushed her to the hospital, and stayed there as doctors and nurses rushed around. Both of them had slept on my shoulders. Just like this.

"Anna?" Pallavi says. I open my eyes as she wipes the lone tear that had escaped down my cheek.

"Nanna vellinappudu ilane mee iddaru naa meeda padukunninaru. Gurthukunda?" I ask my two sisters.

"When dad had left, you two had slept on my like this. Do you remember?" I ask my two sisters.

They just nod, both of them close to tears.

"Mithra, amma vellipoyinappude mee deggara memu lemu. Sorry anna." Ishika cries into my chest.

"When Mithra and mom left, we were not with you. Sorry anna." Ishika cries into my chest.

We all sit there. I gently stroke their hair, calming them.

"Anna, Nenu Ishika brathikinnatlu. Amma, Mithra brathikunnaremo?" Pallavi asks.

"Anna, just like Ishika and I are alive, maybe mom and Mithra are alive too?" Pallavi asks.

I shake my head.

"Ledu amma. Iddaru intlone kaalipoyaru."

"No dear. They both burned in the house."

"Anna, vaalla bodies kaalipoyaka kuda dorakaledu." Ishika says.

"Anna, even their burnt bodies were not found." Ishika says.

"Nijame..."

"True..."

"Baby. Niddarostondi." Nivi suddenly says.

"Baby. I'm sleepy." Nivi suddenly says.

"Oh. Sare. Eeroju padukundamu. Repu matladudam." I say.

"Oh. Ok. We will sleep now. We can talk tomorrow." I say.

Charan gets up.

"Sare ra. mari nenu veltha." he says.

"Ok man. I'll take leave then." he says.

"Ekkadiki ra?" I ask. "Bayata varsham chaala paduthondi."

"Where to man?" I ask. "Its raining to much outside."

"Parledu. Vellipotha."

"Its ok. I'll go."

"Ledu. Ikkade padukunduvukani. Ra." I say.

"No. You can sleep here. Come." I say.

"Vijay-" he starts. I stop him by putting my hand up.

"Undipora. Repu neetho pati Hyderabadki vasthamu. Niviki holidays ippudu. Nivi kuda vastundi." I say.

"Stay man. We will all come to Hyderabad with you tomorrow. Nivi has holidays too. She will come as well." I say.

"Hm...Sare."

"Hm...ok."

After the others sleep, I settle into my usual spot with Tiger. I stay up almost all night.

Mithra might be alive...

Hey friends! So so soooo sorry for the late update. The time is 9:20 right now, and I told myself that I'm not sleeping until I update this chapter. I am so busy since school started, but its been a month since I last updated this book due to writer's block which is very annoying. Finally, I managed to update today.
