Vijay's POV

I began to go through Ajay's social media but come up empty. That's when I realize something. Ajay's brother. Arjun Veera.

This piece of shit. After I got that message and the call from him, I did some research and found out that he was here, in Hyderabad. That's half the reason I came here. Until he's alive, Nivi's life is in danger.

I pull up Arjun's records to get a clearer picture of him before getting up and walking out.

"Sampath, naaku Ajay Veera post mortem report and death certificate kaavali. Call chesi ventane pampichamanu. Immediate ga kaavali naaku." I say.

"Sampath, I want Ajay Veera's post mortem report and death certificate. Call and tell them to sent it fast. I want it immediately." I say.

The constable nods and picks up the phone to call the coroner for the reports.

Karan follows me the moment he sees me walking out of the station.

"Sir, emaindi sir?" He asks.

"Sir, what happened sir?" He asks.

"Vidya office deggara unna tea stall ki poni." I say as he gets into the drivers seat and me into the passenger's.

"Let's go to the tea stall near Vidya's office." I say as he gets into the drivers sear and me into the passenger's.

He nods and starts driving.

"Babu, aa roju car lo ithanni choosava?" I ask the kid, showing him the picture of Arjun.

"Son, did you see this guy in the car that day?" I ask the kid, showing him the picture of Arjun.

He looks at the picture for a bit.

"Hmm...ante ratri kada sir, sarigga gurthuledu..."

"Hmm...it was night right sir, I don't remember properly..."

"Sarigga choodu." I urge.

"Look properly." I urge.

"Ithane anukunta sir. Aa roju car lo cigarette kalchadu."

"I think it is him sir. He was smoking a cigarette in the car."

Just then, my phone pings, indicating I got a message. I open it to see the reports I asked for. I look at the reports and I got my answer.

I turn to Karan with a smirk on my face.

"We got this bastard."

I quickly make a phone call to Charan.

"Haa, cheppara." He answers the call.

"Yeah, tell me bro." He answers the call.

"Charan, Arjun chanipoyadu." I say. "Aaroje champesa."

"Charan, Arjun is dead." I say. "I killed him that day itself."

"Rey emantunnav ra? Vaadi car ni identify chesaru kada."

"Hey, what are you saying man. His car was identified right."

"Car vaadi peru meeda register ayyindi anthe."

"The car is just registered in his name."

"Enti? Mari evaru vaaduthunnaru?"

"What? Then who's using it?"

"Arjun Veera."

Ayu's POV

Dating a police officer is so much work. Sometimes I feel like he's married to his police uniform. Almost every time we meet, he leaves because of a call from work. The annoying thing is he got a new case and he has barely spoken to me for the past week. The last time I saw him was last week, at the coffee shop, and after that, he has been busy.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy he's a police officer. He's a very good person and an amazing officer, I just wish he would spend some time with me.

What? Are you shocked? Yes, I'm dating Vijay, my brother in law, but it's ok because Indian laws of marriage allow that to happen. Wait...marriage? When did I think that far? Oh goddddddd.

"Amma Ayu, em aalochisthunnav?" I'm pulled from my thoughts.

"Ayu dear, what are you thinking about?" I'm pulled from my thoughts.

I look at Anna who's looking at me, amused.

"Em ledu Anna." I answer.

"Nothing Anna." I answer.

He gives me a skeptical look but lets it go.

"Sare, naaku kaastha pani undi. Nuvvu velli Nivi ni pick chesthava." He asks.

"Ok, I have some work. Can you go pick up Nivi." He asks.

"Haa, sare anna. Veltha."

"Yeah, sure anna, I'll go."

He gives me a smile and a wave before grabbing his bike keys and walking out.

I arrive at Nivi's school. Pallu took off today, it seems she is sick, so she had asked anna to pick her up. Since anna had that work to do, I'm here to pick her up and drop her at home instead.

I realize that I'm late when I see that the school is pretty empty, apart from the teachers and the last few students.

I look around for Nivi but do not see her. I walk up to a teacher.

"Ma'am, Nivi?" I ask.

"Nivi ni vaalla mama ippude pick chesukunnaru." She replies.

"Nivi was just picked up by her uncle." She replies.

"Enti? Mama?"

"What? Uncle?"

Charan said he was busy today, which is why Pallu asked anna to pick Nivi up today. I decided to call Charan just in case.

"Hello?" He answers.

"Charan, Nivi ni nuvvu pick chesava?" I ask, praying he says yes.

"Charan, did you pick Nivi up?" I ask, praying he says yes.

"Nena? Nenu inka station lo unna."

"Me? I'm still at the station."

Shit.

"Charan...Nivi kanipinchatledu..."

"Charan...Nivi is missing..."

And im not sure if ill b continuing "Osi Rakshasi(Oh Devil)" anymore tbh. I'm at a complete loss on what to do for that book now. Lmk if you want me to continue that book.
