It has been a whole week since the fire in the town started and my parents disappearance...it has been really hard for me to deal with, but Rose and her family were nice enough to let me stay in their house since I would be alone in our home but what makes today more depressing for me is... "Good morning Chrome and happy birthday" Rose said entering the room her family let me use

Today is my 6th birthday...my first birthday without my family. I may have my best friend and her family to celebrate it with but its not the same. According to a mysterious voice my parents are alive, but I have no clue who it was that attacked our town or where my parents could be...for now all I can do is wait for the day I can get my first Pokemon so I can travel looking for them.

"Thanks Rose" I replied with disappointment in my voice "Cheer up Chrome...I know you miss your parents but we will find them someday" Rose reassured with a gentle smile. When Rose found me in the forest she was the only one I told about what I heard and what I found, no matter how crazy it sounded she believed me.

"So Chrome what do you want to do today, it is your special day after all" Rose asked. I thought about what I wanted to do for a bit and came to the conclusion of... "I want to explore that cave I found when that fire started. I wanna look for anything else that will help me find my parents" "Ok Chrome if that's what you want to do today then lets go"

With that Rose pulled me out of the room by my arm as we passed Rose's parents on the way out of the village towards the cave that I had seen a week ago for some more answers about who or what lead me to those stones.

~Cave Entrance~

After a long time of walking Rose and I had found the entrance to the cave again looking around to see if we could find anything but all we could find were a bunch of our pokemon friends hiding out in the cave. "Chrome" A Tallow cheered happy to see me "Tallow what are you doing in here?" I asked. Normally Tallow would be out flying high above the trees with his Pidgey friends but it was strange to see him in here with the others.

"We're hiding" A Pidgey answered for Tallow "Hiding?" I questioned confused "They're hiding? But from what Chrome?" Rose asked looking at the Pidgey and Tallow "There are some dangerous people here" Tallow said shaking slightly. Hearing that there were some dangerous people near scaring Tallow and the others the first thought that came to my mind was that they could be the ones that took my family away from me. "Tallow where did you and the others see these people" "We saw them in that direction" Tallow said pointing his wing toward north outside the cave. Rose turned to where Tallow was pointing. "Somethings over there Chrome?" she asked "Yeah we have to move fast, thanks everyone" I quickly rushed out of the cave with hopes of catching up to the people that my pokemon friends warned me about so I can find my family. "Chrome wait up!" I heard Rose call out from behind me quickly catching up to me as I continued to run

I ran and ran looking around as I did with Rose close behind me finding no signs of any people walking around the forest like us. Then suddenly I started to hear something. "Chrome" A mysterious voice said

I stopped hearing the voice and looked to Rose who had stopped running as I did. "Did you say something Rose?" I asked hoping it was her. She shook her head "No I didn't say anything Chrome" she stated. "Can you hear me Chrome?" The voice asked again. Hearing it a second time I noticed the voice as the same one that lead me to the stones. "Where are you?" I asked hoping the voices owner would reveal themselves this time "Are you ok Chrome?" Rose asked "Good you can hear me" The voice said as if glad it could even speak to me like before. I wondered why Rose couldn't hear the voice that I heard, I would think that I was starting to go crazy. "You aren't going crazy Chrome, I'm just speaking to you through your mind" The voice stated as if it had read my thoughts 'Please tell me who you are?' I asked in my mind wanting more answers "Like I said before I can't tell you as of now, but just call me V"

Hearing the name the voice wished for me to refer to it as I nodded looking toward the sky. "Chrome are you speaking with that person from before again?" Rose asked placing a hand on my shoulder. I looked to my best friend and nodded confirming her question and looked back to the sky 'V do you know the people that took my family?' "I don't...but you will find them soon enough, you just need to grow strong and save them" V said 'Okay' With that the voi-I mean V seemed to be silent as if he disappeared again. "Did you learn anything new?" Rose asked looking at me.

Once again as I was about to answer her question when I suddenly heard another voice but this time it wasn't as loud as V. "Someone please help!" A voice said in distress. Hearing the voice I looked around again and then managed to pick up where the voice was coming from as it was in the direction Tallow pointed to. "Rose we need to move" I said suddenly as I began to run again with Rose following, knowing to rush over to where the voice was. 'I won't let them have their way' I thought as I rushed to save someone or something from distress as Rose followed

Hey everyone sorry for the long wait for the chapter. I also apologise for the chapter being short but I had lots going on and had a bit of writers block but I'll be trying to post more chapters.
