It was a dark, moonlit night. I caught to my mother Eve. She and Adam had told us we are gonna go down a path. At the end of the path in the forest there would be a surprise for us.

"Eve, is there going to be lots of yummy snacks at the end of the path?" I asked her innocently while I tugged on her cloak.

"I'm not sure Gretel, but it will be wonderful." She responded in a upset voice.

I simply brushed it off and turned back to my brother Hänsel. I held his hand and gave him a smile. Hänsel wasn't really the brightest boy so I had to help him.

As we continued to walk I started to notice something strange. If we were to continue on this path we would be lost.

I began to wonder if they were trying to abandon us. Before we knew it we were lost in the forest and Adam and Eve ran away. I began to grow upset and frustrated knowing they left us to die.

Hänsel began to tear up when he realized we were lost. I held him close to me and hugged him. "Hänsel, those aren't our parents. Eve is a wicked witch and Adam is her henchman." I softly said to him making him calm down.

Then, I got us both up while holding his hand still. I used a little bottle I had with me and filled it with moon light.

Hänsel POV

I watched as Gretel filled up a bottle with moon light and made it into a necklace for me. I sniffled a little out of fear. She told me that we had to go kill them. I nodded in agreement as we walked trying to find our way back.

Eventually, we did find the house the witch lived in. On our way there, we learned we were able to create shadow hands. I took a deep breathe as we walked up to the door.

Using both of our shadow hands, we broke upon the door. I had to take care of the henchman while Gretel killed the witch.

Gretel POV

I laughed as Hänsel and I broke open the door. I quickly ran in to see Eve in total terror. "You think that we're stupid, don't you? Now your gonna die you wicked witch!" I yelled out as I used my shadow hands to choke her. I then used them to shove her into the oven. I loved to hear her screams and cries for help. Hänsel came down covered in blood. I locked the oven to make sure she couldn't escape.

"Gretel, I killed the evil henchman"! Hänsel said with a big smile on his face.

I smiled in reply and said, "Good job." I then turned my attention back to Eve. I laughed psychotically as I turned on the oven. She screamed as I watched her flesh burn.

When she finally burned into ash, all that was left was a yellow orb. I took it out to inspect what it was. It seemed that she had released original sin. When I began to talk about it with Hänsel, we decided to split it up.

We then both used our shadow hands to split into seven fragments. Each fragment would represent the seven deadly sins. I told Hänsel to look around the house for specific items. Then, I associated the objects which each sin.

Luxuria the flower
Gula the seed
Vanity the gems
Sloth the wind
Envy the spring
Greed the soil
Wrath the forest

Hänsel and I then decided to release the seven deadly sins into the world. So the world may cleanse them.
