*Back at the house*

Scott's POV

Me, Mitch, and Kevin are sitting in the living room waiting for Kirstie to tell is about Avi.

I hope nothing happened to him out there....

My thoughts are interrupted by the sound of Kirstie's footsteps into the living room.

"Hey. How's he doing?"

Kirstie makes her way to her medical supply bag with an unreadable look on her face.

"He...umm...talking about a man in the woods. How the forest attacked him." She sighs heavily. "I don't know. Probably he's either gone crazy or it's the withdrawal talking."

"Well don't you think we should take him to a hospital KitKat?" Mitch asks.

"I think we're in over our heads here."

Kirstie suddenly slams her things down. "Ok I am giving him the exact same treatment he would get at a hospital! And if we leave now all of this mess would have been for nothing."

"Ok. What about the wounds on his arms and legs??" Kevin questions.

"I pulled some thorns out. It looks like he might have ran into a thorn bush out there. He probably did it on pupose."

I look at Kirstie as if she's crazy. "What?!"

"Scott, from now on he's gonna do whatever it takes to get out of here. I have that feeling."

"Hey I'm gonna go check and see how Avi's doing, ok?"

They all nod and I walk off to Avi's room down the hall.

I knock on the door and don't get a reply.

"Avi? Mind if I come in?"

Still no reply.

I slowly open the door to Avi's room to see him curled up in a ball on his bed.

I walk in and sit next to him on the bed. I don't see him move.

"Avi?" I whisper.

This triggers him to suddenly jump and stare at me with wide eyes.

"Listen Avi, you need to get out of those clothes. Go and take a shower so you'll feel better."

"Scott...Please...PLEASE...you have...to get me...OUT of here!" he whispers with pure fear in his eyes.

I couldn't help but shake my head. "Look Avi...nobody said that this was going to be easy..."

I was interrupted by Avi suddenly grabbing my arm.

"NO! You don't understand! There was something in the woods Scottie!" He leans in to where I can feel his breath in my ear. "And I think...it's in here...with us...NOW!"

"You mean in the room?"

He slowly nods his head up and down, eyes still wide with fear.

Not believing him, I get up from the bed and start to walk out of the room.

I turn around and look at him. "Look Avi, it's all in your head. Just try and get it together. You'll feel better tomorrow ok?"

I close the door.

Little did Scott know that right after he closed the door, Avi slowly looked towards the mirror in the room only to see the reflection of the creature that attacked him in the woods.
