Evangeline's P.O.V.

"Okay. There's ten minutes until the boys get here. You go to the ship and play an act that will make Uma believe you know nothing." Mal told Gil as we stood outside.

"You got it." he said before he looked at me.

"We will make it." he told me before he gave my forehead a tender kiss and he left through the huge pipe.

I couldn't help but stare into space as he went in, nothing but worry filling me.

"He's gonna be okay." Evie put her hand on my shoulder. I smiled and nodded.

"Yeah."

"So, Sis. Does that bracelet still work?" Evie asked.

I smirked as the snake slid down my wrist, glowing, and soon, I made a lasso movement​ and threw a trashcan into a wall.

"Okay, then." she said as we all chuckled.

"That's not all. I've mastered something else." I said as I gathered my whip and I flicked it to my right and it became a staff.

"Guess you have your answer." I said as the girls chuckled.

Just then, I saw the limo pull up and out came Jay, Carlos, and a pretty girl with brown eyes and brown hair who was definitely an Auradon child.

They came over to us.

"Lonnie!" the girls said as they hugged the girl who happened to be Lonnie.

She then looked at me.

"Hi. Are you Evangeline?" she asked. I nodded.

"Evie told me so much about you. I'm Lonnie." she introduced as she held out her hand.

"Welcome to the Isle. Good to meet you." I told her as she smiled.

Soon, a limo came in and stopped. Jay and Carlos walked out and they had the fake wand with them.

"Let's see." I asked as Jay handed it to Mal.

"Wow, what a beauty. Perfect." she said.

"You guys got everything?" I asked.

They all nodded as Lonnie held the swords and Evie held the backpack that had the smoke bombs. All of us looked at each other.

"Everybody ready?" Mal asked. We all nodded.

"Well, let's go." I told them.

We all walked through the pipe and we saw Uma and her crew waiting. Ben was tied up with Harry having a hold on him. I saw Gil and locked eyes with him. I nodded toward him and he did the same.

"Hey, guys! They're here!" he yelled. Una and her crew looked at us before Harry pushed Ben to the side.

"Welcome!" he greeted with a vicious smile.

"Finally!" Uma said, followed by laughing.

I stood with Jay, Evie, Carlos, and Lonnie as Mal was on the deck.

After we finished having a sing-off as you can say, Mal went to Uma to give her the fake wand.

"Hold up. Too easy." Uma stopped her.

"Why don't you give it a test drive?" she asked her.

All of us looked at each other in worry. "We wanna see it work." she added.

I looked at Gil, who had a look of worry as well.

"You always were quite the drama queen." Mal told her.

"Oh, and nothing too big or else Ben is fish bait." the daughter of Ursula warned the daughter of Maleficent.

Mal looked at us and Carlos nudged his head to the side. I looked and saw a cute dog there dressed in dog clothes with Carlo's colors. Mal looked back at Uma before turning her attention towards the dog.

"Although it seems absurd, turn your bark into a word." Mal said before she waved the wand.

I felt anxiety coursing through me before Gil was making his way over without being seen.

"Talk dog." Mal ordered the dog.

"Does this vest make me look fat?" the dog whispered, making all of Uma's crew laugh and my friends and I sigh with relief.

"Give me the wand!" Uma told Mal.

"Give me Ben!" Mal fired back at her.

"Harry, bring him over." the teal-haired girl ordered my former best friend.

Harry did as he was told before Ben was on his knees in front of Mal. They exchanged arms demanding the trade.

"Cut him lose, Harry." Uma said.

Harry locked eyes with me and I looked away, not wanting to feel pain again. Jay noticed that and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"I never get to have any fun." he complained as he cut the ropes off of Ben.

Mal grabbed her ex-boyfriend's hand as she handed the fake wand to Uma.

The crew cheered as she walked off with them. It was then Gil was finally with me and my friends. Ben looked at us.

"What's he doing here?" he asked.

"Don't worry, Ben. He's on our side." I reassured him.

"By the power of the wind and sea, tear it down and set us free!" Uma yelled, making the crew cheer.

She had a look of shock on her face as it didn't work and she saw Gil with me, Mal, Ben, Jay, Carlos, Lonnie, and Ben.

She realized that Gil was no longer on her side and the wand was fake.

"No!" she yelled before she used her knee to snap it in half.

"You do not get to win every time!"

Gil pulled his sword out as the snake on my bracelet slithered down and out came my whip. Jay and the others got swords of their own as well.

"Get them!" Uma commanded her crew.

Gil and I ran before we began to fight some of the pirates. We stood back-to-back, clashing weapons with our opponents.

I did a lasso move and the whip wrapped around the guy in front of me and I sent him into the sea.

I whipped a couple of more crew members, sending them into the ocean or knocking them out.

"Go, Gil! I can handle this!" I told him.

He nodded before he chased after a crew member a few feet away. I turned and saw the one person I didn't want to see at all.

His blue eyes piercing into my brown ones. I saw a look of concern.

I think it's from what I said last night about him regretting being a jerk to me if I die.

"Get out of my way, Harry." I told him.

"No. I'm not letting you go out there." he said.

"I thought our friendship was done. We're not best friends anymore, Harry! You got what you wanted!" I yelled as my whip began to glow.

"Evangeline, I-" he started.

"No! You've done enough already!" I yelled as I swung at him.

My whip caught his wrist and I sent him flying over my head. He landed on a couple of crew members before I ran off.

I saw Gil struggling with a handful of crew members.

Instantly, I sprinted over there and lassoed my whip before throwing. It hit three of the crew members and it transformed into a staff. I fought the rest of the crew members as my back was close to Gil's.

"Let's do this!" he said.

We began fighting our foes before they were out of our way. We got to where Evie, Mal, Jay, Lonnie, and Carlos were. Evie tossed a smoke bomb as Ben joined us.

"Guys, go!" Mal told us.

Gil grabbed my hand and we all ran through the pipe.

My whip transformed back into a bracelet.

We got outside and went inside the limo. I sat on Gil's lap as I tried to catch my breath.

"Are you okay? You know? After Harry..." Evie asked. I smiled an nodded.

"A little hurt, but I'll manage. He brought this upon himself." I explained.

Gil grabbed my hand in his hand smiled at me.

I wasn't paying attention to anything Mal and Ben were saying. I lay my head on my boyfriend's shoulder and got lost in my own thoughts.
