Natalie didn't even bother to join the rest. She just took her own car and left. She couldn't stop thinking about Robin and Steve. The thought of them two together just makes her sick. Natalie kept switching the stations because she wasn't in the mood to listen to sappy love songs.

Natalie let out a huge sigh, she gave up and just let Love Is A Battlefield play in the background. She got home and closed the door, not noticing her mother sitting on the couch.

" Estas bien" ( Are you ok)

"Mama,I'm fine. I'm just tired from work"

"Mijita, You know it's normal to have stressful days?What happened"

"I'm jealous of Steve Harrington and I don't know why, I swear I didn't feel this way when he dated my cousin. What the hell is wrong with me."

Natalie snapped out of her thoughts. "It's been a long day, I'm going to bed.

" Buenas Noches" ( Good night)

" Buenas Noches"

" Te Amo" ( I love you)

" Te Amo, también, mama"

Natalie shut the door in her room and changed out her Scoops uniform to fresh pajamas. She passed a blow dryer to her hair. Natalie felt the urge to scream but didn't want to frighten her mother. She landed face flat on her pillow as her screams sounded muffled. No one could hear her.

The three Scoops Ahoy workers listened as Dustin explained what he saw on the rooftop this morning. He is pacing back and forth over and over again. Steve is spinning his hat around while Robin and Natalie sit down "That keycard opens the door, but unfortunately, the Russian with this keycard also has a massive gun. Whatever's in this room, whatever's in those boxes, they don't want anybody finding it."

"But there's got to be a way in," Robin questioned

Steve blew on his hat and leaned on the counter. "Well, you know...I could just take him out. "

Natalie gave him a skeptical look. Steve Harrington against a Russian guard. No way-

"Take who out?" Robin asked

"The Russian guard,"

Now all three of them were staring at him weirdly

"What? I sneak up behind him, I knock him out and take his keycard. It's easy. "

"Did you not hear the part about the massive guns?" Natalie spoke up now

"Yes, Natalie I did." He positions two fingers on the table to signal walking. "Which is why I would be sneaking."

She shook her head and rolled her eyes in disbelief.

"Well, please, tell me this, and be honest, have you ever actually... won a fight." Dustin asked.

Natalie had a smile on her face, its like Dustin read her mind. "You know what  I was about to ask the same thing"

"Okay, that was one time..."

"Twice. Jonathan. Year prior?" He interrupted with two fingers.

Steve puts his hands down " Listen that doesn't count"

"Why wouldn't it? Because it looks like he beat the shit out of you."

Robin started to smile mischievously.

"It was..."

"You got a fat lip, crooked nose, - swollen eye, a lot of blood...things that all added up..."

While the two boys were talking, Robin looked at the tip jar.

"That just might work."

Natalie turned around and began to notice it as well. She got up from her spot

"Natalie?"

Steve ran after the two, Robin grabbed a fist full of cash "Hey, Robin! What are you doing?"

She took a few steps backwards" I need cash."

"Well, half of that's mine. Where are you two going "

Robin already took off with Natalie following right behind her ""To find a way into that room, a safe way. And, in the meantime, sling ice cream, behave, and don't get beat up. I'll be back in a jiff."

" Hey Robin, I can give you a ride"

Natalie felt a little nervous, what if she says no. However, she didn't know that Robin is flustered at the offer.

"Ok-"

"Really?"

"Yeah, let's go"

Robin entered the passenger's seat, her eyes stopping on a picture on the sun visor. Pop music started playing on the radio.

" Is that Stevie Nicks?"

" Huh?"

"Stevie Nicks?" Robin repeated

" You.. like Fleetwood Mac? Natalie asked intrigued.

" My parents listen to them, but yeah they are cool."

Natalie started to smile; Robin never noticed how pretty her eyes looked in the day. Her eyes are brown, but they look golden with the sun. Robin could count the freckles on the bridge of her nose.

" So where do we need to go?" Natalie snapped her out of her thoughts.

" Oh, um just take a left"

" Ok"

The two ladies come back to Star court Mall, Robin has a blueprint in her hand and placed it on the table. "It is fascinating what 20 bucks will get you at the County Recorder's Office."

"Star Court Mall. The complete blueprints."

Dustin praised the ladies for a job well done. "Not bad."

"So this is us Scoops, and this is where we need to go" Robin signaled each spot.

"I mean, I don't see a way in." Steve points out.

Natalie grabbed a red marker; Robin is leading the way. "There's not. If you're talking exclusively about doors."

Dustin smiled in realization " Air ducts."

"Exactly"

"Turns out, this secret room needs air just like any old room. And these air ducts lead all the way...here." Robin points at the final spot

The four looked up at the air duct on the wall. Steve takes down the cover and squints. "Flashlight"

Dustin passed it to him as Steve stood on a ladder. "Thank you!"

He turned on the flashlight trying to get a closer look at the duct. "Yeah, I don't know, man... I don't know if you can fit in here. It's, like...super tight."

"I'll fit. Trust me. No collar bones, remember?"

Robin furrowed her eyebrows. "Uh, excuse me."

She looked at Natalie for confirmation. She just shook her head as Dustin went up the ladder

"Oh, he's, uh... Chry, uh... It's chrydo, um...Something. Yeah, I don't know. He's missing bones and stuff. He can bend like Gumbo."

"You mean Gumby." Robin corrected

"No, I'm pretty sure it's Gumbo."

"Steve, just shut up and push me!" Dustin shouted

He raised his hands up in surrender.

"Okay. I'll push ya."

All the two ladies could see is his legs sticking out, Steve started to push him. The young boys voice echoes through the vent. "Not my feet, dumb ass. Push my ass."

"What?"

"Touch my butt! I don't care!"

Steve let out a huge sigh, he stepped onto the ladder, trying to push him in.

"Come on! Harder! Push harder!"

"I'm pushing!"

"You're playing with my legs."

Dustin's legs are on Steve's shoulders. He came up with an idea

"I'm going to just shove you, ready?"

"Just shove me."

"One, two..."

Steve shoved Dustin, but he couldn't budge

"That work?"

" One more time"

Robin and Natalie shook their heads in disapproval. The two ladies heard a bell ringing. "Ahoy, sailors! All hands-on deck!Ahoy!Come on."

Robin had a smirk on her face, like she just came up with an idea. Natalie immediately realized, what she was thinking

" Nope, No, No"

" Well do you have any other idea, Natalie."

"Get over here and serve some samples."

Her cheeks started turning pink, as butterflies formed in her stomach. She looked around trying to figure out another plan, but surrenders. " Ok Fine"

A few minutes later...

Erica took a glimpse at the vent, and she gets off the ladder. The four are leaning against the wall

"Yeah, I don't know."

"You don't know if you can fit?" Dustin asked

Erica shrugged. "Oh, I can fit. I just don't know if I want to."

"Are you claustrophobic?" Robin asked

Erica let out a snicker. "I don't have phobias"

"Okay, well, what's the problem?" Steve questioned

She points at the table.

"The problem is, I still haven't heard what's in this for Erica."

Natalie leans her head against the wall." Oh My God..."

" You know what kid, just to make our lives easier, how about unlimited ice-cream."

Erica had a smirk forming on her face. "Deal"

Steve slid a banana spilt on the table, hoping she's finally satisfied, but all Erica did was push it back. "More fudge, please. Go on."

Steve sighed and grabbed the banana spilt to go put more fudge on it

Robin shows her the blueprints, "You see this? This is the route you're going to take. Then we just wait till the last delivery is out tonight. Then you knock out the grate, jump down, and open the door."

"Then you find out what's in those boxes?" Erica asked

"Exactly."

"Mm-hmm."

"And you say this guard is armed?" Erica questioned

"Yes, but he won't be there." Dustin gave a quick response

"And booby traps?"

Robin furrowed her eyebrows "Booby traps?"

"Lasers, spikes in the wall? You know what this half-baked plan of yours sounds like to me. Child endangerment."

"We'll be in radio contact with you the whole time..."

"Ah, ah, Ah! Child endangerment." Erica interrupted with a sassy finger wave

Natalie put her hands on her face, she just wanted to grab her and throw her into the vent. But that is " Child Endangerment"  " Oh my God"

Dustin waved his hands in her face to get her attention

"Erica? Hi. Uh...We think these Russians want to harm our country. Great harm. Don't you love your country?"

"You can't spell America without "Erica."

She starts slurping her shake really loudly. It aggravated Natalie.

"Oddly, that's, uh, totally true. So, don't do this for us. Do it for your country. Do it for your fellow man. Do this for America... Erica."

Erica finished the float and placed the cup down

"Ooh! I just got the chills. "

A smile formed on Dustin's face

"Oh, yeah, from this float, not your speech." Erica leaned forward. "Know what I love most about this country? Capitalism Do you know what capitalism is?"

"Yeah,"

"It means this is a free-market system Which means people get paid for their services, depending on how valuable-their contributions are. And it seems to me, my ability to fit into that little vent is very, very valuable to you all. So, you want my help? This USS Butterscotch better be the first of many. And I'm talking free ice cream for life."

Erica ate a cherry in front of them.
