Eleven continued to scream out in pain. The group panicked, not knowing what to do. There was something inside her leg, moving. Erica got closer; eyebrows furrowed.

"What is that?"

"There's something in there." Mike points out

"Jesus Christ."

"Keep her talking. Keep her awake, okay?"

Jonathan ran off to go find something to get rid of that wound

"Hey, hey, hey. Stay awake, stay awake. "Mike pleaded. He turned to Will now. "Let's get her onto this side"

Steve and Will move El carefully to Mikes lap. Robin gets very nervous

"It's, uh...You know, it's not that bad. There was a... The goalie on my soccer team, Beth Wildfire, this other girl slid into her leg, and the bone came out of her knee, six inches or something, it was insane."

Although Natalie found Robins ramblings to be cute, now was not the time.

"Robin" Steve cut her off

"Yeah?"

"You're not helping,"

"Sorry"

"What the hell is that" Natalie shouted, watching the wound move back and forth

Jonathan came back with a hot knife, a wooden spoon and gloves

"Okay. All right, El? This is going to hurt like hell, okay? "

She started to choke up "Okay,"

Jonthan gives Mike the wooden spoon and the gloves

"Okay. Need you to stay real still. Here, you're going to want to bite down on this, okay?"

"Jesus Christ, Holy Shit, Holy Shit" Dustin started to panic

Mike didn't even hesitate, he just wanted it done, to stop the pain once and for all. "Do it."

Jonathan puts the knife in her leg, she started to scream. Puss and blood came pouring out, Natalie let out a gag, she felt like throwing up... again. She is just a kid, that didn't deserve any of this. Nancy tried to stop him

"JONATHAN"

"Stop talking"

Eleven couldn't take it anymore. She stops him and decides to do it herself. "Goddamn it! No! Stop it! Stop! Stop! I can do it. I can do it"

Eleven moved her hand, aiming it at the wound and wailed out

"God! God!"

The moving infection got close to her skin.

She screamed out in extreme pain, the lights started to flicker. Natalie dragged Robin out of the way as the glass window shattered. Her screams getting louder every minute. Eleven pulled out a small piece of the Mind flayer out of her. It fell onto the ground and tried to crawl away until a boot stomped on it. It is Hopper, Joyce and Murray

"The Mind Flayer built this monster in Hawkins, to stop El, to kill her, and pave a way into our world. " Mike explained

"And it almost did. That was just one tiny piece of it" Nancy added

"How big is this thing?" Hopper asked

He is holding onto El to comfort her. Jonathan looks at Nancy to confirm

"It's big. Thirty feet, at least. "

"It's big. It sort of destroyed your cabin."

Hopper let out a sigh, Lucas gave him an apologetic smile

"Sorry"

"Okay, so, just to be clear, this...this big fleshy spider thing that hurt El."Steve paused to think for a second. "It's some kind of gigantic... weapon?"

Nancy nodded "Yes."

"But Instead of, like, screws and metal, the Mind Flayer made its weapon...with melted people."

" Yeah exactly"

Natalies eyes widen in shock

"Yeah, okay. I... Yeah, I'm just making sure."

"Are you sure this thing is still out there? Still alive." Joyce asked

Max had a slight smile on her face, "El beat the shit out of it but yeah it's still alive."

"What if we close the gate again?"

"We cut the brain off from the body." Will confirms to his mom.

"And kill it.Theoretically." Lucas added

"Yoo-hoo! Yoo-hoo!" Murrays voice echoed. They turn around to face him, he is waving papers in the air. He walks to a table and places them down ."Okay, this is what Alexei called "the hub. Now, the hub takes us to the vault room. "

"Okay, where's the gate? "Hopper asked

"Right here. I don't know the scale on this, but I think it's fairly close-to-the vault room, maybe 50 feet or so."

"More like 500"

Everyone turned their attention to Erica

"What, you're just going to waltz in there like it's commie Disneyland or something?"

"I'm sorry, who are you?"

"Erica Sinclair. Who are you?"

"Murray...Bauman."

" Listen, Mr. Bunman, I'm not trying to tell you how to do things, but I've been down in that shithole for 24 hours. And with all due respect. If you do what this man tells you, you're all gonna die."

"I'm sorry, why is this four-year-old speaking to me?

Erica places her hands on her hip."Um, I'm ten, you bald bastard!"

Murray jaw dropped, Natalie had her hand on her mouth, her eyes are widened.

"ERICA!"

"JUST THE FACTS,"

"She's right. You're all going to die, but you don't have to. Excuse me, Sorry, may I?"

"Please,"

Dustin draws around the map

"Okay, see this room here? This is a storage facility. There's a hatch in here that feeds into their underground ventilation system. That will lead you to the base of the weapon. It's a bit of a maze down there, but between me and Erica, we can show you the way."

"You can show us the way?" Hopper asked skeptically

Don't worry, you can do all the fighting and the dangerous hero shit, and we'll be your navigators."

"No.Nope."

Natalie sat down on the counter with Robin, quiet. This was all supposed to be over last year, but it's gotten worst. Natalie thought this was going to be a normal ordinary summer, but it turned into busting into a Russian base and getting beat up and drugged. Now there is bigger problems, The Mind flayer is back, but Will isn't a host this time.

Without anyone looking, she grabbed onto Robins pinkie, this caught her attention. They just lock eyes for a second. Robin moved her hand away, feeling hesitant that someone could be watching. Hopper tossed his walkie to Dustin

"Heads up! You can navigate, just from someplace safe."

"It's not that simple."

"The signal won't reach" Erica points out

"Not with this. You need something with a high enough frequency band to relay with the Russians' radio tower. But for that to work you need someone who has both seen their Comms room and has access to a super-powered handcrafted radio tower, one preferably situated at the highest point in Hawkins. Oh wait -- that's me. If you want us to navigate, you got us. But we need a head start."

Hopper just stood there processing what he just said

"And a car"

The five get out of the mall, seeing a yellow Cadillac parked. Steve threw the keys in the air. "Oh man, that's what I'm talking about."

" Todd father?"

" Screw Tod, Steve's her daddy now"

The five get inside the car, entering one by one.

"Did you just talk about yourself in third person"

"Did he just call himself daddy"

"Ugh, I never want to hear that again"

" Alright, where are we going?"

" Weather top" Dustin told him

" Weather what?"

" Just drive"

" Ok, jeez"

Steve took off in the Todd Father, its time for Scoops Troop to complete their mission, Send the Signal

There is no other vehicle in sight. Your love keep lifting me higher is playing on the radio, Steve is trying to find Weather Top while Robin is the passenger's seat. Natalie can feel the breeze blowing through her hair. Erica is right next to her while Dustin sits by the right side of the car.

"Jesus how far is this place man?" Steve spoke up

"Relax, were almost there"

"Suzie must be pretty special, huh? I mean if you built this thing and lugged it all the way to the middle of nowhere to talk to her" Robin said

"I mean, nobody's scientifically perfect, but Suzie about as close to being perfect as any human could possibly be."

"She sounds made up to me, She sound made up to you."

Natalie and Steve stay quiet. Dustin looks at Natalie and then back at Steve

"Why are guys hesitating?"

"I'm, -im-I'm not. I'm not! I think she sounds real. You know, totally, absolutely real." Steve tried to sound believable

"Totally" Natalie muttered sarcastically

"Left. Turn left"

"There's no road here" Steve told him

"Turn left now!"

"Jesus hang on"

Steve made a sharp left , ramming into a fence. Natalie gripped on the side of the car

"Woahhhhhh"

"Henderson, where are we going!" Steve shouted

"Up"

He speeds up the pace of the car to get up the hill despite Todfather struggling.

"Were not going to make it" Robin yelled out

"Yes we are"

Steve grips onto the steering wheel tighter, trying to get up

"Come on baby"

"Come on baby"

Almost at the top, Todfather stops, the wheels getting stuck on the grass of Weather top.

"Come on" Steve yelled

The wheels spin, but the car doesn't budge. The engine started to act up.

"I guess the Todfather has its limitations"

The engine died down and they all got out of the car, they aren't too far from Weather top, so they walk up the hill. Natalie could see the whole town from here, it is beautiful. Erica and Dustin are following their map to navigate

"Scoops Troop, this is Bald Eagle. I've reached another junction"

"This is what?" Dustin questioned

"The forth junction" Erica reminded him

"All right, so if memory serves, this is right after the My Little Pony Thesis"

"We went left, so he has to go right."

"Right"

"Fly right, Bald Eagle. Fly right"

"Roger that. Fly right"

Natalie furrowed her eyebrows, Robin is just as confused

"What's the My Little Pony thesis"

"Don't go him started"

"Get him started, just tell me"

Natalie turned around to find Steve walking away.

"Hey guys"

The group rush to Steve, to find the mall lights flickering, Natalies eyes widen in horror, her cousins, her friends, they are stuck in there.

"Mike...Nance " Natalies voice quivered

Dustin rushes back to Cerebro and grabs the microphone

""Griswold Family, I repeat, this is Scoops Troop. Do you copy over"

No Response

They heard a shriek coming out of the walkie, Natalie felt her heart drop, the Mind flayer found them.

"Griswold family, this is Scoops Troop! Please confirm your safety!"Griswold family, this is Scoops Troop! Please confirm your safety!"

They heard just another shriek

Griswold Family, this is Scoops Troop! Please confirm your safety! Are you en-route to Bald Eagle's nest? Do you copy? Griswold Family? Do you copy?"

No response

Griswold family, do you copy? Griswold family, do you copy?DO YOU COPY

This obviously wasn't working out. Steve got up, Natalie following right behind him, they ran to Todfather .

"Where are you going?" Erica asked

" To get them the hell outta there!" Stay here, contact the others"

"Shit-"

Robin ran after the two

"Wait, Robin!"

Dustin tosses the Walkie Talkie at her;she caught it and goes into the passenger's seat.
