The first thing the three see is Billy going to ram his car into the Wheeler Wagon. Nancy is with a gun in her hand, which wasn't a surprise to Natalie, her cousin is always armed.

BAM-BAM-BAM

The bullets weren't stopping his car. Natalie felt her throat tightened and her heart racing. Steve pressed his foot on the gas, his blood pumping with adrenaline.  He rammed Todfather into Billy's Camaro, sending it into flames. The three catch their breaths, taking in what just happened. Steve turned to Natalie and then back at Robin.

" Are you ok".

"Ask me tomorrow,"

Natalie stood up, eyes shot open with panic, Robin and Steve seemed to catch on as well. It's a huge spiderlike monster made of human flesh on top of Starcourt Mall.

"Oh shit"

"What the F-"

Natalie is quickly cut off by her cousin pulling up with the Wheeler Wagon.

"Get in"

Robin climbed in and then Natalie, the two being super close to each other. Steve climbed in last since he wanted the ladies to go first.

"Go, Go"

Jonathan took off as The Mind Flayer began to chase them.

"Suzie, do you copy, Suzie do you copy"

She lowers her book, and her eyes go wide. On her desk sits a microphone.She dashes the radio, clearly excited

"This is Suzie I copy"

"Suzie "

"Dusty bun"

Erica furrowed her eyebrows in confusion " Dusty bun?"

Where have you been

"I'm so, so sorry, I- I've been really busy. Uh trying to save the world from Russians and monster"

"Of course you have"

"Get the goddamn number already."

Suzie's smile suddenly drops.

"Who's that"

"Uh it-it was- I don't know actually. I think it was just some interference. So why don't we change frequency - to one- four - point-one five- eight-"

"Copy that, shifting frequency. Stand by"

Suzie adjusts the dial to the correct frequency. Meanwhile, in the Wheeler wagon, the mind flayer is still chasing them.

"Dusty bun, do you copy?"

"I copy, Suzie poo, it sounds much better now, thanks"

The three in the back lock eyes in realization "Suzie"

"Okay so, listen, do you know Planck's constant" 

"Do you know the Earth orbits the sun"

Dustin let out a chuckle

"Okay So, I know it starts with two sixes, and then a - what is it"

"Okay let me just be clear on this, I haven't heard from you in a week, and now you want a mathematical equation that you should know so you can - save the world."

"Suzie poo, I promise, I will make it up to you as soon as possible "

"You can make it up to me now"

"What"

"I want to hear it"

" Not right now"

"Yes, now Dusty bun"

"Suzie poo, this is urgent"

"Yes, yes, you're saving the world, I heard you the first time, but God is also saving Earth Sea and he's about to confront the shadows, so this is Suzie signing off"

She is about to click off the microphone, Dustin suddenly hesitated

"Wait, wait , wait, okay"

Suzie turns her back, a grin is on her face

"Okay, Okay"

"Shit"

He raised the microphone to his mouth and started to sing

"Turn around look at what you seeeeee"

Dustin looks at Erica, who is stunned, she didn't know he could sing, let alone right now.

"In her face. The mirror of your dreamssssss"

In the Wheeler wagon, Steve and Robin had weird looks on their face, Natalie muttered "Seriously" under her breath as they continue to sing.

"Make believe I'm everywhere, giving in the light"

Dustin had a smile on his face and became more relaxed as he harmonized with Suzie.

"Written on the pages is the answer to a never-ending storyyyyyyyy. AHHHHHHHHHH"Reach the stars fly a fantasyyyyyyy.Dream a dream, and what you will beeeeeee.Rhymes that keep their secrets"

Will and Lucas had matching reactions of confusion . Lucas is definitely going to make fun of him after this

"Will unfold behind the clouds"

Erica just sits there in stunned awe. After a while the two stopped singing the song, Dustin lets out a giggle.

"Planck's constant is six- point - six- two- six-zero-seven-zero-zero-four"

"You just saved the world"

Suzie let out a content sigh

"God I miss you, Dusty bun."

"No I miss you more, Suzie poo"

"Miss you more, multiplied by all the stars in our galaxy"

"No I miss you"

Enough

Erica turned off Cerebro, she was already sick of this. The Mind flayer started to slow down and stopped for a minute. It turned around and headed the opposite direction.

"Its turning around" Steve pointed out the obvious

"What?"

"It turned around" Natalie shouted at her cousin

"Maybe we wore it out" Lucas assumed

"I don't think so. Hold on"

Jonathan pulled a 180 on the highway and raced off to Star Court Mall.

They raced back to the mall, blood pumping with adrenaline. Lucas unloaded some fireworks in the car, Natalie has forgotten that it was the Fourth of July, considering the past couple of hours she's been put through hell. They each go up the balcony and duck down with loads of fireworks on the side. There was the Mind flayer standing right in front of El and Billy She is scared and quickly back away from the impact. Just then Lucas threw the first firework at the Mindflayer, sparks fill up the mall with color.

BOOM

"Flay this, you ugly piece of shit"

BOOM

Lucas and Will throw another set of fireworks, the Mindflayer stumbled down.

BOOM

Nancy and Jonathan start doing the same.

BOOM

"Hey asshole over here"

Steve, Robin, and Natalie got up from their spot, the firework in their hands and launched it straight at it. The sight is truly terrifying, yet breathtaking. Kill the Mind Flayer, Kill Billy. From the balcony, Natalie could see Billy, he has black veins all over his body. Each hit taken at the Mindflayer just takes out a little bit of life out of him.

As Billy winced in incredible pain, El backed away, getting further and further away from him and the Mindflayer. He grabbed onto her leg and drags her back. Billy sat on top of her, slamming Eleven onto the floor. Nancy launched yet another firework.

BOOM

It was a Direct hit at the Mind flayers back, but there is a bigger problem now

"Were almost out" Will shouted

"I know" Lucas responded

BOOM

Robin lit a fuse and throws the firework at the Mindflayer, Natalie threw the next one. Steve picked up his walkie Talkie

"Dustin! Close it now! Close it!"

In Weather top, Dustin screamed into his microphone to Hopper and Joyce

"Hurry! Close it now! Close it!"

Billy leans over El, they make eye contact. He starts getting flashbacks to the happy times in California, playing baseball, getting slapped by his dad and meeting Max for the first time.

"Seven feet" Eleven whispered

He suddenly know what she is talking about

"You told her the wave was seven feet. You ran to her, on the beach. And there were seagulls. She wore a hat with a blue ribbon, a long dress with a blue and red flower, yellow sandals that were covered in sand. She was pretty. She was really pretty. And you, you were happy."

Billy closed his eyes, picturing his happiest moment, a tear fell down on his cheek. El put her hand on his face.

BOOM

Lucas threw the last firework onto the mind flayer, there's no hope now.

"Were out "Will shouted

"DAMMIT NO"

The Mindflayer is quickly recovering, Billy just stood there looking straight at this monster that been tormenting him these past couple of days. El is just there on the floor. Mike and Max run out of Scoops Ahoy, shocked looks on their faces. She backed away, as the tentacle reaches out to her. Billy blocked it using both of his hands as Max watched in horror. A different tentacle stabbed him in the sides, as he screamed out in pain.

The Mindflayer had Billy on his knees as black blood spills out from his mouth. He let out a scream. The Mindflayer sent one last tentacle to his chest stabbing him right in the heart.

"BILLY!" Max yelled out in terror

His lifeless body falls onto the ground, The Mindflayer starts to rock uncontrollably from side to side, until it met its demise. The monster is gone. Everyone looks down, either relived or terrified. Natalie didn't know Billy that well, in fact he was a jerk, but she knew Max, she felt sympathy for the poor girl. She walked over to her stepbrother's body, who is struggling to breathe, as blood spilled out on the floor.

"Billy. Billy. Get up, please. Billy, get up, please, please."

"I'm sorry" He weakly said his last words

She watched as the light left his eyes, Max shook his body, desperately. " Billy. Billy, wake up. Please."

She broke down sobbing, El wraps her arms around and touched her head

"It's okay, Its okay"

The ambulances arrived at the mall, the paramedics tend to Natalie cleaning the wounds on her face and gave her a towel to wrap herself. All she  wanted to do was go home to her mom. Natalie wonders how she is going to feel seeing her daughter with cuts on her face, would she feel relieved that she's safe, or distraught. She stared at her feet dangling off the ambulance, ignoring how close she is to Robin. Robin sits by a traumatized Max, numb from all the tears she shed for her brother.

One thing for sure, Natalie is glad that this is all over.
