Chapter Thirty Seven
Argon's hands caressed Sheena's face, his touch gentle and reverent, as though he were holding something irreplaceable. Sheena, in turn, traced his jawline with her fingers.
Argon's lips met hers once again; their movements were slow but deliberate, as if savoring every second. The creak of the wooden bed under their weight seemed to disappear into the symphony of the waves outside, blending seamlessly with their whispered promises.
The air grew warmer between them, their bodies finding a rhythm that spoke of trust and longing. Argon's lips trailed softly from her mouth to her neck. Sheena closed her eyes, her breath hitching as she let herself be consumed by the tenderness of his every move.
The love they made wasn't just physical; it was a reaffirmation of everything they'd been through and everything they still wanted to share.
"Kapag nasa barko ka na, don't forget to write songs about me," she teased softly, just at the moment that they reached the desire they've been longing for.
"Songs?" He kissed the top of her head. "Gusto mo gumawa pa ako ng album, eh."
Sheena chuckled, her eyes shimmered with unshed tears. Argon tightened his hold, sensing her sadness even before she spoke again. "Paano kung matagalan bago tayo ulit magkita?"
"Then I'll make every moment we're apart worth it," sagot ni Argon, planting a kiss on her forehead. "But for now, let's just enjoy this moment. Walang dapat alalahanin, walang dapat ikatakot. And let's do this more often, love."
"Because?" Pinamulahan ng pisngi si Sheena.
"Because when we get older, baka mawalan na tayo ng energy or activeness.
"You mean, isa pa?" Sheena laughed.
"If you still want it, love."
"Iyong kape mo, lumamig na." Naiiling si Sheena at bahagyang bumalikwas. Even though they did this so many times, she's still showing her timidity. Sometimes she's outspoken when asking for it, but sometimes she lets her husband initiate and lead her on the bed.
"Mamaya na 'yon painitin, love. Mas mahalagang mapainit muli itong moment na 'to," pagsuyo ni Argon.
His lovely wife excitedly nodded upon closing her eyes. He grinned. Then, his fingers danced lightly across her arms, drawing goosebumps, while her hands found their way to the back of his neck, pulling him closer, and they were both prepared to conquer each other for the nth time.
And as the moonlight poured through the thin curtains, both Sheena and Argon found solace in the fact that love, in its purest form, was their greatest anchor.

The next morning, Sheena woke up to the sight of Argon sitting by the window, staring at the sea with a serene smile on his face. The sunlight illuminated his features, making him look even more handsome in a peaceful demeanor.
"Good morning, love," she greeted softly, wrapping herself in the blanket as she approached him.
"Good morning din, love," sagot naman ni Argon, while turning his head to look at Sheena. His eyes were filled with warmth, a mixture of happiness and contentment.
"Work? Training? "Kung ano man 'yan, I'm always willing to listen. Express it freely, okay?"
Pero don't worry, it's something good.
Sheena sat beside him, resting her head on his shoulder. "I think I can get used to this.
Argon wrapped an arm around her.
"And I'll always be here, waiting. I mean, waiting with our kids."
"By the way," sabi ni Argon, breaking the silence, "Magugustuhan mo ang latest video na ia-upload ko. It's a little tribute to someone who means the world to me."
"For your mother?"
"Hmmm... maybe," Argon grinned.
