From route to warrior to deputy back to a warrior to meeting his fate of death. We depict everything wrong with Hawkfrost. He was kin of one of Tigerstar's ex-mates which yes is a sin. He fell into his father's footsteps so fast maybe too fast.

 Really maybe the Erin Hunters should have stretched it out a bit. I found it weird when Mistystar became deputy then when she disappeared Leopardstar chooses a much less experienced cat. Maybe if he would've just killed Mistystar before he could have been a leader.

 Again this is the whole thing about sneakiness which both Tigerstar and Hawkfrost failed at. Hawkfrost should have been quieter about his evilness and not do it how Tigerstar did. They were both the kind of cats who just had 'EVIL' plastered onto their heads.

 When Hawkfrost trained Ivypool he may have done a good job but he was too nice. In earlier books, I remember him pretending to be nice to Bramblestar and he was mean to other cats. But him being exceptionally nice to Ivypool was kinda different.
