1. The Title:

The title collaborates with the theme of the story so it's good.

2. The Cover:

The cover is okay as well. It is the collage type cover which kinda gives the aesthetic vibe to it but since it is a story based on Salvatore Boarding School, I guess it does fine here.

3. Concept:

The concept was great. I loved the idea of Caroline and Alaric opening such a school to help the newly instated supernaturals who might be having troubles dealing with their lives.

And frankly, Caroline and Alaric are the only people who could have come up with such a brilliant idea since Caroline understands the horrors of being a newly made Vampire and so does Alaric of being rejected and shunned due to the Supernatural powers.

4. Review (includes Summary too):

I will try to summarize as much as I can without spoiling the story.

The story begins with an introduction to the Salvatore Boarding School in which the author reveals how it was founded by Caroline Forbes and Alaric Saltzman. The purpose behind opening such a school was to help young Supernaturals to cope with their life and be as less dangerous to others as possible.

The story centers on Hope Mikaelson, Lizzie and Josie Slatzman, Dylan, Bryan and Jason (if you are wondering about the latter three, they are original characters introduced by the author). All of them become great friends. And as you probably must have guessed, all of them are going through the phase which is known as teenage life, so young love and crushes are a bit common here.

[Even though there is nothing wrong with it, I think the author must not have introduced the concept of this person liking that person and that person sharing the same feelings a bit too early. I hope you understand what I just write because I can't give the major parts away and yet this was a major point to be noted].

Hope gets involved in a fight with Kate Anderson (another newly formed Supernatural who lives with a thoroughly repulsive aunt) because Kate said bad things about her father stating it that Hope was a monster as well and could endanger everyone given the reputation of her family. At that Hope resorts to violence since it was triggered through her words and Caroline has to step in to stop the fight.

[It is realistic the way Hope is portrayed in this scene, her actions were quite justified and I liked that because anyone would have done the same in her situation].

Caroline and Alaric take matters into their hands and arrange a sort of parents gathering for both Kate and Hope's parents / guardians to come over and discuss the matter. At this point Klaus makes the first entrance in the story along with Hayley.

After the meeting Klaus decided to stay for Hope's sake since she gets too little to see him and he also wants to spend more time with his daughter. In the meanwhile, things are going on pretty normal at the school. There is an art exposition in which Hope decides to participate as well after taking suggestion from her father.

Somewhere along the journey, Hope, Josie and Lizzie discover that Klaus probably was still in love with Caroline and they take matters in their hands to bring the two estranged once in love souls together.

[I know the summary is real vague but I am not telling any more since I think it would be best for you to find it out yourself, so go give it a try].

What I think:

Honestly, I loved the story. There aren't many stories written on the next generation of TVD (Hope, Lizzie and Josie) and that makes it a bonus on a non cliche plot. I'm glad to read this one because it was light, funny and I could relate to the characters.

I practically fell in love with Josie's character. I have always found the fun loving carefree characters most appealing and Josie struck the nerve rather quickly with her straightforwardness and her attitude of not really caring about what others may think of her.

Both Dylan and Jason were adorable and I couldn't help but laugh at Alaric and Klaus's portrayal as protective fathers who would do anything to keep their daughters safe but still not get a bit too overtly possessive.

And especially the movie scene when one of them asks a certain Mikaelson to accompany him to the movies and she invites everyone to join in thinking that the invite was meant for the whole gang.

In short, it was a great read and I can't help but wait for the updates because I'm impatient to know what the three girls will do in order to get Klaus and Caroline together.

[P.S I'm a big Klaroline shipper. Klamille is okay too, I guess but I don't know why there is something in Klaroline which made me want it to happen ever since the concept was first introduced. They are both simply... perfect. Anyhow I think it's been enough of me fangirling, scroll down for the conclusion.]

If you are looking for a refreshing read and if you are a fan of High School fics / crushes / young love etc then this is the story for you. It is kept light and entertaining at the same time which makes it a good read.

P.S it is quite refreshing that you have kept this story very informal such that the reader feels comfortable with it. It is great that you don't switch POVs many times in one chapter because that would get confusing. Since each chapter had a different POV, it was much easier and comfortable to get a hold of.
