A tough decision but I think I will give my first fanfic a try as well. I made the new cover and thought out a few alternatives as well as the modifications and if I am pleased with the final outcome, I might just republish it.

It still requires a lot of effort though. Because not only do I have to change everything, I will have to exclude all the points which are cliche and include others in their place. Want to get working on it all but still searching for enough time.

There are two ways in which I can take the story:

a) Angelina is a few years older than Harry. At the day the Potters got attacked, she had gone off to Remus's place because he had offered to babysit her as Lily was having trouble looking after two toddlers all at once. After James and Lily's death, Harry would be given to the Dursleys as it happened in the original books while Angelina would be temporarily sent to a wizard orphanage where later she would be given in the care of Maura Smith; a divorced witch who works as a Healer at St Mungo's. In this option everything will be completely different from what I had initially thought out and when Harry joins Hogwarts, Angelina would be in her fourth year.

b) Angelina is an year younger than Harry and was in the nursery when Voldemort attacked so she didn't get affected by the Killing Curse. The Malfoys find her and pretty much the initial story line is followed like I mentioned in the First Fanfic chapter. However I will be making major changes. But don't worry Angelina and Colin Creevey would become a couple eventually even if the rest of the plot will be wholly different.

I am stuck on which option to choose because I want to involve Maura Smith and I want to make Angelina elder than Harry, but I am also in love with the idea of her and Colin Creevey being a couple which can't be accomplished through the first option.
