*Pari Pov*

"What happened? Why am I getting all these calls?" I asked Rani the moment she picked up her call.

I just threw my phone aside thinking there will be no calls as this is my leave time and for the next ten days no one will even think to contact me.

"Save us, Pari." She replied and I can hear other voices saying the same.

"You guys are having lunch? Why do I need to save you?" I asked, frowning at my lunch I am staring at for the past half an hour.

I got so used to someone's presence and now I am not even able to have my lunch by myself. I really need to do this a few times to break my addiction.

"Mr. Stone is breathing fire from morning and we don't know what happened in the first place. You didn't leave for Kolkata, right? Come to the company for today and just for some time. We will be alive for today and maybe he will be fine from tomorrow." Imran pleaded making me frown.

"Breathing fire? He was completely fine in the morning. Maybe you guys made some mistakes with your work." I mumbled sighing.

"Pari! You can't take his side like this." Sakshi shouted in a painful voice.

"Of course I can take his side. He is my husband after all." I pointed out smiling while guessing their facial reactions hearing my words.

"Then Mrs. Stone if it was really fault with our work then we wouldn't have called you. He just shouted at Imran for wearing a tie to work. Wasn't he the one who made this rule in the first place? Now, is it our fault?" Rani calmly explained and started explaining other things.

"Di is not there?" I asked, realizing this is really stone, breathing fire moment without any cause.

"She is busy with a meeting and she can't help us too." Imran whined making me roll my eyes.

"He is like this from the moment we wished him good morning." Rani suddenly added.

"What were you guys talking before that?" I asked her trying to find the problem before deciding whether I need to go there or not.

"Our valentine's day preparations. Today we will be leaving early to spend time with our partners. We took permission last week itself from Mr. Stone." Sakshi explained.

"Oh!" I whispered before glancing at the calendar realizing today is Valentine's day and it is kind of our first one after we fell in love.

"I think I know what is the reason for the fire. It seems I am the one who is causing it." I mumbled but didn't explain much thinking what to do.

I need to go to Kolkata to discuss the merging plan as it is in the final stage and this is supposed to be my final trip for business matters.

As he already gave me full power regarding this merging as the company belongs to my Dad and my Dad already decided I will be handling it from his side too.

What to do? When he generally talked to be about this day last week, which seems to be the day they asked permission, I said not many people celebrate with much vigor and it is not that important.

He seems to take it as a complete truth, but when he heard their preparations, he must have felt angry. Why didn't he call me and just trying to take it out on them?

"Will you be the fire extinguisher as soon as possible? We need to return to our office right now." Rani mumbled and I checked the time.

"I need to leave within an hour and I was just finishing my lunch." I mumbled glancing at the luggage still thinking why didn't he vented by calling me.

"Pari!" they all groaned, but understood my situation before hanging up while wishing me a safe journey.

I frowned, still staring at my phone before giving him a call and he immediately picked up asking, "Did you leave for the airport?"

I paused, hearing his voice which is completely normal without any hint of anger or anything else. Are they fooling me? Is he really mad without their mistake or is he not mad in the first place?

"No! I am having my lunch. You had yours?" I asked, clearing my throat.

"I will have it after some time. I am in middle of assessing the minutes of the meeting Di just mailed before going home directly from meeting place." He replied and I know he is working while talking to me.

"Di took leave from afternoon?" I asked frowning.

"Yes! Today is Valentine's day and Di always take half day leave for sure." He replied in a normal tone.

So, he is fine with me just tossing the day aside? Then why is he breathing fire? Ugh! I wish I can ask him, but what if it is their mistake and he gets even more mad at them.

"Okay! Don't forget your lunch and I will leave for the airport. I will give you a call after reaching at my parents place." I mumbled before hanging up.

Before I still used to say my parents place as mine, but he somehow got offended. Seriously, even after marriage, he is still laying out egg shells for me to walk on.

I tapped on the table and finally left the lunch just like that before leaving the home realizing even if he lays the egg shells I need to break them like before.

I gestured everyone who was ready to shout after seeing me to keep quiet before walking towards his cabin and glanced at the time.

"Pari!" I turned in shock when I found him walking out of Di's cabin and I realized that's what Rani was trying to say which I completely ignored.

I turned to give her an apologetic look, but found them staring at him in shock and I turned to find him walking towards me with a smile.

"You lied to me?" I asked, glancing at them, but they all shook their heads.

"What is it?" he asked, glancing at them and then at me.

"You are supposed to go to the airport, right?" he asked, realizing that just now when he glanced at his watch.

"That..." I trailed off realizing I am really confused what to do right now.

I really thought he was mad at me for today and decided to come here as a surprise moment, but turns out he is more than normal. However, they are not acting like they pranked me too.

Come on, Pari! You are the Pari and you can't be confused like this. Take control of the situation and turn it into an advantage for everyone.

"Do they have to stay until late today? Is there important work that needs to be finished today?" I asked calmly, not at all giving away my confusion.

"Uhmm... They are going to leave early anyway and there is not much work for today." He replied staring at me.

"You asked me to finish this report by today, Sir." Rani pointedly said glancing at him.

"That is for next week." He mumbled and I shook my head at her to stop her along with others.

"So, let them go. Even Di left, right? If there is any work that they need to finish today itself, then they can stay and do it or do it tomorrow." I smiled saying those words.

"Okay! It is their wish if they want to take leave officially." He shrugged before walking towards his cabin when I gestured him I will join him soon.

"What are you guys doing? Even though it is official leave, you get extra hours to spend with your spouses or lovers." I asked when I found them still sitting there in silence.

"What power do you have, Pari? We should have just married you or stopped you from marrying him then we would have been able to have power over your power." Sakshi said frowning at me.

"If you had done that then it would have effected in a wrong way." Rashi commented smiling making me chuckle.

"Why do I feel that wouldn't have been the result? He would have just tried to go through a forbidden love path." Imran mumbled and I stared at him in shock.

"Fine! I will go and tell him that I need to go and let him deal with you all." I pointed out and turned around but they immediately rushed to leave.

"Happy valentine's day, Fire extinguisher." Rani waved while leaving and they all followed her while I glared at them.

I walked into the cabin and found him still working, but I didn't find his lunch at all. I sighed, leaving the cabin to get some food for both of us, but I had it packed.

"Where were you?" he asked, frowning the moment I returned with our lunch.

"I saw you working and went to get some lunch." I replied gesturing the package.

"I was just finishing the work. Now, why didn't you leave? Was there some problem or do you need some more information before leaving?" he asked in a worried tone while walking towards me.

"You don't have any work?" I asked when I found he even turned off his system.

"No! There was not much work to begin with and I already finished. If I get any call then I may get any work to finish today otherwise it's fine." he replied, shrugging and I took hold of his hand before walking out of his cabin while he made sure the door is locked.

Even I checked whether everyone turned off their systems before getting into the elevator and before he can press the ground floor I already pressed the penthouse.

"What if you get a call? You can't come from home soon, right?" I pointed out and he nodded understanding.

"Is it really serious? Is that why you are skipping to answer me?" he asked when I was busy with arranging our food properly on the table.

"Seems like they cleaned this place yesterday, right? As per schedule they will come after two days. Why don't we stay here for these two days? You are already planning on staying here if I had gone to my parent's place, right?" I asked looking around and he finally frowned at me.

We finished our lunch and he took the dishes to throw in the garbage while I decided to check whether they are cleaning the place properly or not.

We both decided to keep this place even though we shifted to our new place few weeks back thinking we can rest if the work pressure increases.

"Angel! You are worrying me, you know." He finally mumbled holding me from behind when I stood near the closet to check whether we left enough clothes.

"You worried me too." I whispered, leaning into his hug.

"When? Because I didn't have lunch during lunch time? I was just finishing the work Di left and was just going to order when you came." He explained making me smile.

"Why didn't you tell me that you wished to celebrate today with me?" I asked and he stilled hearing those words.

"You don't think much about it and I didn't want to force you." He replied and I frowned turning around to stare at his face.

"I forced you with so many things then why can't you. Next time you have to tell me whatever you want, okay?" I asked but he just smiled.

"That's why you stayed back?" he asked pecking my lips.

"Of course! I already called Dad and asked him to wait for two days at least and he was fine with it." I replied nodding.

"Did they complained?" he asked and I already know whom he is talking about.

"Stone breathing fire is your new nickname while mine is the fire extinguisher." I replied, laughing and he smiled shaking his head.

"Happy valentine's day, Akash." I whispered, staring at his face.

"Happy first valentine's day, Angel." He whispered back.

"Don't tell me you are going to remember the number too from now on." I mumbled and the smile he gave definitely proves he is definitely going to do that.

"Who called you stone? They should be sent to a mental facility." I whispered, pulling him into a kiss and he chuckled before leading us to our bed.

He still lays those egg shells around him, but if I just smash them, then it is sand in which I drowning with no objections every single time. Of course! He is my Mr. Stone after all.

i somehow realized i never wrote in any story regarding the valentine's day and mostly icnluded birthdays and anniversaries but even those not that much... So, ended up conducting a poll for four stories (Mr. Stone, Mr&Mrs.Whatever, New beginning, In love! Again...) and to my huge surprise Mr. Stone won... :D

So, there was another question to answer what story of these four is odd one out and three replied correctly so there is another shot for sure... it will be updated today itself i think...
