Michael had no words. He couldn't believe he and Jeremy had been stuck on that level for so long and it was finally beaten, but he didn't do it with Jeremy... He did it with Laura. He was.... perplexed, (ARE THEY GONNA KEEP ON REPLACING WHOEVER'S IN CHARGE? IF SO WHO'S NEEEEEEXXXXT? I need to stop. At least it isn't 21 chump street again lol) not just about the game, but this whole Jeremy debacle.

"Mikey? Michael, you okay?" Laura snapped him out of his trance

"Um... umm... Yeah, yeah I'm fine."

"Uh, you sure? 'Cause even though we just met today, you can talk to me. You know that, right?"

"Uh... yeah, yeah..." Michael said as a single tear rolled down his cheek. He wiped it away before telling Laura about what had just happened.

"It's just... Jeremy and I were stuck on this level for a while.."

"Oh, I haven't overstepped my bounds, have I?"

"Oh, no no no, it's just... weird. Ya know?"

"Yeah, yeah I know..... I... had this one friend in Minnesota. Her name was Valerie we played video games and talked but she.. decided not to be friends anymore. We were 7 years old. I know that it's weird... It was a little weird playing games with you instead of with Val, but you know what's been helping me?" Michael shrugged. "I started thinking about this new friendship between us and the fact that... If Val didn't want to be friends with me anymore and if Jeremy ditched you, that's their decision. Just know, I won't leave."

"I won't leave you either." Laura and Michael hugged. "If Jeremy wants to be popular, let him. SO THE WORLD'S UNFAIR, KEEP IT LOCKED OUT THERE!"

"Ya know, you're a pretty great friend. Not even popularity is worth not having a friend like you."
