Monday finally arrived!

Laura had brought a rolled up baggie of (MARIJUANA!... No jk, I just love 21 chump street. Comment if you get the reference :P) $600 to school for Rich.

She entered the school with a drastically different attitude than she had had the week before. Then, a wild 5'5 Rich was spotted talking to a tall boy (around Laura's height, which I never specified. I sowwy. she's 5'8) with kinda curly brown hair, a backpack that had 'BOYF' written on it, and an Eminem shirt.

'Who still listens to him?' Laura thought as she waited for their conversation to be finished.

As soon as the BOYF boy left, she approached Rich with the money. (I DONT WANT YOUR MONEEEYYY! I GOT THIS JUST FOR... I am so sorry. STAHP WITH THE 21 CHUMP STREET)

"Here ya go, $600 dollars. No tax included. "

"You actually brought it?"

"Yeah! Why?"

"Well, that other kid I was talking to, I was telling him about it when you heard me yelling. He decided it'd be a better idea to go to the payless and get one himself for $400."

"....he what? You're saying I could've gone to the mall, paid the money I already had AND not have to wait patiently (not really) for one!?"

"Actually, he... uh... got the last one. Besides, I could really use the money... Things are kinda rough at home... My dad drinks. He normally passes out by 9 so.."

"Oh... I'm sorry... My dad died by drunk driving when I was about 8 months..... ANYWAY, Here ya go. Sorry for snapping at you."

"It's all good." Rich took the money and handed her a small grey pill.

"Just a word of caution: This is untested technology, and legal is not a word I'd use to describe it. I take no responsibility for what you might do with it, or what it might do with you." Laura nodded, albeit cautiously. "To activate, take it with green mtn dew."

Laura snickered and joked, "Do you want me to eat Doritos and play 420 blazeit while doing so?"

"I'm serious!...though I have no idea why."

"Fine. But could I borrow a dollar for the mtn dew?"

Reluctant, Rich gave her a dollar and off to the vending machine she went.
