Suddenly, an epiphany stuck. She'd ask her mom to give her the rest of her allowance for the rest of the year now. Laura wasn't proud of this solution, but that was all she had.

Luckily, most of the time when her mom returns home from a long day at work, she's a little bit... scattered, y'know? Of course, it worked, but her mom was a little bit skeptical. Laura, however, was able to smooth talked her out of the awkward situation. If you asked her how she was able to do that, she would say something along the lines of "Oh, it's like improv and acting and playing a character... I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO, OK?'

Getting back on track, Laura dreamed about her new life with the SQUIP. Tons of friends, good grades, no more detention! Monday couldn't come soon enough...
