(A/N I am so sorry I haven't been updating I was sick then Christmas happened and I've just been busy so I'm sorry. I will try to make up for it by updating now. Hope y'all have a happy holiday, whatever you celebrate!)

Laura and Michael exited the PT Cruiser and walked toward the house.

As soon as they entered, Laura was met with a perky Latino woman.

"Oh Hola! You must be the girl I've heard SO much about! Please, sit down, relax, enjoy yourself!"

"Oh wow, thank you, Mrs. Mell." She then took a seat on the couch in the living room where Michael had plopped onto. Mrs. Mell was in the kitchen, making snacks for the two of them.

"Wow. She's.... energetically friendly."

"Nice description," The SQUIP complimented.

"Yeah. After I told her what happened with Jeremy, she's been super glad I made another friend... But I think she thinks we're something more, if you know what I mean." Laura let out a huge laugh, which sounded like a girlfriend laughing at one of her boyfriends jokes to Mrs. Mell. (JUST A NOTE, I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP SO I DONT KNOW ABOUT THIS STUFF. I TRY, OKAY?)

"You. And Me. Dating? Dude, it's only been a day and you... you just seem more like a brother kinda, at least more than a boyfriend."

"Well, don't be surprised if she asks us questions, thinking we are."

"Psh, preposterous. That won't happen."

'Will it?' Laura looked at her SQUIP and thought. The SQUIP nodded. 'Crap.' She looked back at Michael.

"On the other hand-"

"I made nachos!" Mrs. Mell had entered the room, holding an extravagant tray of homemade nachos, fit for at least 5 people.

"Oh my.. you didn't have to make all this for us."

"Yea, mom. I was just gonna bring out some Doritos and Mountain Dew Red." Laura eyed her SQUIP.

He said and she thought 'Crisis Averted' at the same time.

"Oh, it was no trouble at all, hijo. Anything for you two!" Mrs. Mell said with a warm smile.

'Prepare for a whole lot of awkwardness,' Laura thought as she ate a nacho.
