At college

A girl slapped a boy. Seeing this, all students stood there with shocked expressions.

Boy : What the hell! How dare you slap me!

R : Oh.... You want to know then see!

Ridhi again slaps him.

Boy : (Shocked and angry) How dare you slap me! Do you know Who I am!

R : Oh.... I don't know and I don't even want to know who you are! Stupid Idiot!

Boy : What? What did you call me?

R : I said idiot. Stupid, shameless Idiot!

B : (A smrik appeared on his lip) You really don't know me! If you knew me, you would have never dared to call me that!

R : I don't care who you are!

B : (Laughs loudly and mimicked her)
I don't care who you are!
(Pointed a finger at himself and told her in a threatening voice) If you knew me than you would have never dared to raise your voice in front of me!

R : (Boring tone) I already told you that I don't care whoever the hell you are!

B : (Angered listening her tone) Then listen! Have you ever heard Veer Singh Pratab's name?

R : (Try to recognize the name but fails) No! I have never heard. I don't know and don't want to know who he is and who you are!! I only know that if you ever try to misbehave with my friend or any girl in front of me then you know me, I won't think twice before killing you or calling the police!

B : (In a challenging tone) You'll call police? Hahaha..... Listen girl, Veer is India's top businesman and a....

R : (cuts him in between and speaks) I already told you I don't care if he's a businessman, police, politician or a don! If he does this in front of me then I'll slap him also! And are you a kid? Who are you trying to scare! Why using Veer Singh Pratab's name? You don't have guts to face me? Huh? Now if you are done talking then may we leave because we aren't free like you !!

Saying that Ridhi and Ritu went to their classroom and the Boy stood there fuming in anger.

(After class)

Ridhi and Ritu came out of the class and suddenly a hand held Ridhi's hand and pinned her to nearest wall. Before Ridhi could shout for help a hand shut her mouth. The person leaned closer to her ear and spoke huskily.

P : Hello baby!

R : (Hearing that voice she relaxed)You idiot! You scared me! Abhi!!

Ridhi opened her eyes which he had closed in fear and comes face to face with Abhi.

A : Oh.... You recognised me! Am I that special baby?

R : Stop flirting! Don't you have shame? It's my College!

A : Thanks for the clarification! I thought it's a hospital!

R : Shut up! Stop your jokes! You don't have any shame!

A : What's shameful in it? You are my girlfriend...not any other girl!

R : Oh you remember that I'm your girlfriend? I thought that you have forgot!

A : (Held her hands lovingly) Why would I forget my beautiful girlfriend?

R : (Trying her best not to see his beautiful eyes) oh…. I thought you forget me! It's been a week we last met!

A : (fearing her anger) But I used to constantly message you!

R : (Angrily) Message! Oh yeah I remember….
Baby, I'm busy in my new project please don't disturb me.
Your love,
Abhi.

How can you say that 'Dont disturb me'!! If I missed you then at least let me call you but no! You told that receptionist not to disturb you!

A : (In a flirting way)  Baby…. It's not my fault! You know how's my boss! He'll kill me if I didnt complete the project on time!

R : (Narrows her eyes at him amd speaks angrily) Stop blaming my dad! Don't talk about him like that! And don't call him rude!

A : I didn't! You are calling him rude and arrogant! I'm not a fool to call my boss and future Father - in-law Rude!!

R : What did you call?  I will kill you!!
     
Abhi started running to save his life from his girlfriend. Ridhi ran behind him to catch him. Seeing their love, Ritu smiled and thought why she is not that lucky to have a lovely guy like him! Her thoughts went to Rahul, the first guy who became her friend.

Flash back:

Ritu was going home after college. She was waiting for the bus because she was not that rich as her friends to afford a car. She belong to a middle class family. But being a topper, she got scholarship for further studies.
    
After about 20 minutes of waiting for bus, she thought that it's good if she went home by walk. She started walking to reach her home. But her luck wasn't with her. She walked some distance when she came in front of a building. She heard some voice coming from the building. It was someone's shouting voice.  To see the person who was shouting, she went near it and peeked in. Seeing the sight in front of her, her face lost it's colour. A guy was beaten by some guys. Then suddenly a guy spoke.

Guy : Well! Well!….. I see that they treated you very well! (Then looked at his men)  Good work boys!

Others :  Thank u boss!

Guy : Now finish him and before you do that I want to hear his screams!

All : Yes boss!

They killed that guy in front of her eyes. She clasped her mouth shut. The scene made her feel nauseated and she didn't wanted to stand there anymore. Fearing that they will kill her too, she started running. She heard someone shout for her to stop but she didn't listened and kept running.

Suddenly someone held her hand and turned her around. She came face to face with that same person who ordered his men to kill that guy. In fear, she closed her eyes. After sometime she opened them to see what's happening but surprisingly nothing happened. She opened her eyes and the guy in front of her was smiling at her. She felt as if he was trying to see her soul through her eyes. He kept looking at her without breaking eye contact and she felt uncomfortable.

Still looking intently at her, he spoke

Boy: Who are you and what are you doing here?

Ritu : (fearing) i… .di.. didn't… s..see… .any…. thing…. Pl… ease… leave… me.

Boy : (smiling) I didn't asked you that. If you already accept this then tell me what did you see?

Ritu : (weeping and trying her best not to fear him) I already told you sir I will not tell anyone about this. Plz leave me.

Boy : Ok.. Ok… but stop crying and about leaving you....I will never leave you!

Ritu : wh…. A… .t?

Boy : I mean you saw us killing a person so I can't leave you like that! Our boss will kill us if I let you go like that!

Ritu : Hmmm? (And cried more hearing his answer)

Boy : Hey… hey… I don't mean to kill you. I mean I will only watch you from some distance everytime to make sure that you don't tell anyone about this. It's ok with you?

Ritu : y..e..s.

Boy : Ok.. Now shall we leave?

Ritu : we?

Boy : Yeah We! We are friends now!

Ritu : (shock)  friends?

Boy : Yes, I helped you so I'm your friend because only a friend helps other friend not any stranger. Am I right?

Ritu : Yes…..

End the flashback..

Yes, I told him yes!

Because I didn't had any other option. And what I would have told him? No I don't want to be friends with a murderer! He wouldn't even have hesitated before killing me. So I said Yes to him. After that he always used to force me to meet him and I did because I didn't want my family to suffer because of me so I did what he wanted but no he didn't want any friendship he wanted something else! One day, he proposed me then I understood that if I will not stop him now then he will never stop his nonsense. So I told him very clearly that i don't love him. I only did friendship with him because I didn't had any other option but he didn't wanted to understand that and tried to force me and that time my friend Ridhi stood with me, for me. This is real friendship. To help each other, to stand for your friend. I am really lucky that I have a friend like Ridhi. I always pray to God that she always stay happy like this.
