It had been three whole years since Hikari, Munia, Manaka, Chisaki and Tsumgu live within the surface.

It had so many changes since the last Ofunehiki helped them change their relationship as friends.

Hikari walks to the Mihama Middle School with Akira, his nephew.

"Do you really have to walk me to school, Uncle Hikari? I can walk on my own." He said, feeling embarrassed of the situation.

 Hikari smirks at his nephew, "Come on, Akira, this is the same school that your older sister and I attended to.

It's going to be a blast, count on it." 

The fourteen year old boy hung his backpack over his shoulder as the school bell was ringing.

"Well, I have to get to class, Uncle Hikari." He says as he enters the school doors. 

Hikari begins to smile at his nephew and walks away from the school.

"Hey, Hikari!" A voice said, as he turns around to see his friend, Chisaki who was panting with sweat.

"Chisaki, what's going on?" He asks with a curious expression in his friend's actions.

"You wouldn't believe it, but the Ofunehiki... it's going to start again sooner than expected." She said, which causes him to grow panic mode.

"Crap! You not serious are you?!?" He asks as she asks, "How you think I was joking at a time like this?"

Hikari thought back of the last ceremony that was held in the surface. 

It nearly tear his emotions apart as accepting new realities that he knew would change forever.

"I hope that Akira is ready for the hibernation by then." He said, looking at the Mihama Middle School wondering about his nephew's life would change.

AN:

This anime is called "Nagi no Asukara ." The translation is called, "A Lull in the Sea." It's so amazing that I figure I should write a story about Akira as the main Characters along with some OCs.
