Devanshi was surrounded by an array of packed boxes and suitcases in her room, each labeled precisely for their journey to Shubman's house in Chandigarh. Anaya was helping her sort through the remaining items, while Kritika bhabhi, was entertaining Kashi, her bubbly 3-4 months old niece.

"Dev," Anaya suggested, sitting down on the bed. "Jiju ko FaceTime karo na. It'll be good to catch up."

Devanshi nodded, grabbing her phone. She opened the FaceTime app and called Shubman. After a few rings, his face appeared on the screen, looking a bit downcast.

"Hey," Devanshi greeted him warmly. "Busy day?"

"Not really," Shubman replied, managing a weak smile. "Just a lot of training."

Bhabhi chimed in, "Don't be so hard on yourself, Shub! Shaadi se pehle hi bimaar pad jaoge."

Kritika, with Kashi in her arms, moved closer to the camera. "Look who's here to see you, Shubman!" she said, lifting Kashi so her face was clearly visible.

Shubman's face lit up instantly. "Kashu! Kya kar rha hai baccha?"

Kashi responded with a joyful squeal, her tiny hands reaching out toward the screen. Her happiness was infectious, and even Shubman's mood seemed to lift slightly.

"She's been missing you," Kritika said with a smile.

Shubman chuckled. "And I miss her too."

Devanshi took a deep breath, deciding it was time to address the elephant in the room. "Shubman, I know you're upset about not being selected for the T20 World Cup. But remember, you're still traveling as a reserve player. And besides, you have the IPL right now. Focus on what you have in the present."

Shubman sighed, nodding slowly. "I know, Dev. It's just hard not to feel disappointed. I worked so hard for this."

"I understand," Devanshi said softly. "But you can show them what they're missing out on. Use this time to prove yourself even more."

"She's right, jijs" Anaya added. "Sabko pata hai, how talented you are. Just keep pushing forward."

Kashi, seeming to sense the serious tone, started babbling again, waving her tiny hands. Shubman laughed, his spirits lifting more. "You know what, Kashu? You're absolutely right. Rhona dhona band kar dena chahiye mujhe ab."

Kritika grinned. "See? She always knows how to cheer you up."

Devanshi smiled, feeling relieved that the conversation was steering towards positivity. "She always knows how to cheer everyone up"

Kashi responded with another squeal, and everyone laughed.

"Dev, don't worry about the move. I'll make sure everything is perfect for you when you arrive. Maine postal address bhej dia hai tumhe, Vaha mera cousin pick up kar lega, bas bata dena kitne bag ho rahe hai."Shubman said, his voice more upbeat

"Paach," Devanshi replied warmly. "Teen bag aur do boxes." Shubman nodded while a smallyawn left his mouth "Now, go get some rest."

"Ji Madam. Goodnight, everyone," Shubman said, waving at the screen.

"Goodnight!" they all chorused back.

After ending the call, Devanshi felt a weight lift off her shoulders. She turned to Anaya and Kritika, who were both smiling.

"You did great," Kritika said. "He needed that pep talk."

"Thanks," Devanshi said, hugging her bhabhi. "And thank you, Kashi. Our little miracle worker."

Kritika laughed. "She's always happy to help. Now, let's finish packing. We have to pack for Jaipur too."

A few days later, Devanshi and her paternal family arrived in Jaipur for the wedding functions. The city welcomed them with its vibrant energy and traditional charm. After settling into the city palace, they gathered for a sumptuous lunch.

"This food is amazing," Dhruv said, savoring a bite of dal baati churma. "Mai to seedha jake sone wala hu."

"Samdhan ji, Aapke ghar ke khane ka swaad to aaj tak nahi badla, Laajawab hai" Dadisa said, smiling at the table filled with his family.

Devanshi looked around at her family, feeling a rush of gratitude. "Aaj kashi sabke sath yahi rahegi, Mai bhabhi ko lekar Salon ja rahi hu."

After lunch, Dev prepared to head out for her grooming appointments. Anaya, Gauravi, and Kritika bhabhi were ready to accompany her.

"Ready for a day of pampering?" Kritika asked, adjusting her sunglasses as they stepped outside.

"Absolutely," Devanshi replied, a mix of excitement and nerves in her voice. "Need to shed the pre wedding tiredness out."

Their first stop was the laser hair removal clinic. Devanshi took a deep breath as they entered. "Here we go," she said, trying to steady her nerves.

"You'll be fine," Gauravi reassured her. "Teen saal se kara rahi hai laser, Kuch nahi hoga ja."

After the procedure, they headed to the salon for haircuts. As they waited, Anaya flipped through a magazine. "So, what look are you going for, Dev?"

"Just split end trim and curtains," Devanshi said, smiling at the stylist. "Nothing too drastic."

As the stylist worked on her hair, Kritika leaned over. "You know, I think I'll get a trim too. Can't have you looking better than me," she teased.

Dev laughed. "You always look amazing, bhabhi. Par shaadi meri hai. Aapki ho gayi."

With fresh haircuts, they made their way to the spa for facials and massages. The serene environment was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of wedding preparations.

"Now, this is heaven," Gauravi sighed, settling into the massage chair.

Devanshi closed her eyes, feeling the stress melt away. "I needed this."

"Of course," Anaya said. "Aur tujhe akele kaise maze karne de hum."

As they transitioned to facials, the conversation continued.

"Kashi ko pareshaan to nahi kar rha koi?" Devanshi asked, her face covered in a refreshing mask.

"She's great," Kritika replied. "Shes playing with Dhruv and Pacho's dogs. I think she's having the time of her life with the kids."

"Good," Devanshi said, smiling beneath the mask. "I miss her already."

After the spa, they headed back to the hotel, feeling rejuvenated and glowing.

"Today was perfect," Devanshi said as they walked through the lobby. "I really needed this break." As they reached their rooms, Dev felt a renewed sense of calm and readiness.
