The Femminst problem
Yes! I hate when feminists say older Disney movies will make a bad influence for little girls. Growing up, Cinderella was my favorite princess, and I still love her to this day, and never once did I think I need a man to save me, or why don't I look like her. I only saw the fun and imagination. I remember acting out Cinderella around the house with my different outfits. (I had one pink dress that I actually ripped for when the stepsisters ripped her dress scene.) Adults overthink things. They don't see things the way kids do. That's why we have so much issues in the world. We can't have fun. We get all worked up about this Disney stuff that is FICTIONAL, while there are plenty of other things, more serious things, to be concerned about. So I will 100 % show my daughter Cinderella and all the classics one day. Not because she needs to learn something (btw if everything your child learns comes from Disney movies, you are a horrible parent.) But because of the fun, imagination, and creativity it brings.
