Chapter 19
I felt like a double post today since I've been very inspired to write lately.
Enjoy!
“They’re closing. Are you ready to get out of here?” He placed a light kiss on my neck.
I nodded and felt his hands on my waist. “I brought my truck. Did you bring a car?”
I shook my head, “Got a ride.”
He led me to his car while holding my hips. When he started the car, I tried to give him directions, but he stopped me.
“I know where you live.”
I narrowed my eyes suspiciously at him, “And how would you know where I live?”
He smiled, “Stephan told me. And I know where most werewolves in my father’s pack live.”
“Your father’s pack?” I said confused.
He nodded, “Finn Madill is my father. It’s kind of my job to keep tabs on the multiple packs my father presides over.”
“So, that means Connor’s going to know exactly who you are.”
He nodded with a smile, “I’m kind of interested on how he’s going to react when he sees me.”
“I hope he can’t beat you up.”
He shook his head, “I highly doubt it. There aren’t many who are strong enough to challenge me.”
“Would the guys have recognized you at the bar?”
He shook his head, “No. I don’t socialize with the packs like my father and brother. I’m more of a secret.”
He turned onto one of the deserted roads. “So, should I carry you in, or are you going to try to sneak me in?”
“Let’s sneak you in.”
He nodded. “Hopefully they don’t unmask me before your plan can fall through.”
“I hope they’ll all be too busy, or at least not willing enough to bother me.”
They weren’t all asleep like I had hoped…quite the opposite really. There was a party at the house, with a lot of people in attendance.
We both got out of his truck and stopped to look at the house. “How about I climb up to your room, and meet you there?”
I nodded, “That would be easier. That way you don’t run into Connor.”
He nodded, “Which window is yours?”
I pointed. “That one.”
He smiled and winked at me, then went to climb up the side of my house. I did my best to look anxious while making my way through the house.
I felt a few pairs of suspicious eyes on me. I even met the gaze of Chris, who searched all around me for my mysterious man. Then he glared at me. I just did a little innocent wave at him.
Then my eyes caught Grayson…with his slutty girlfriend. I didn’t even wait for him to notice me. I saw Chris move to come towards me, then I headed up the stairs.
Chris hollered my name when I just entered my room.
Philip brought me close to him; a second before Chris pushed opened my door.
Philip smiled at Chris when Chris narrowed his eyes at Philip.
“Chris stop it.” I tried my best to order him, knowing it probably wouldn’t work.
He shook his head, “I don’t trust this guy. There’s something I don’t like about him.”
Philip smirked, “It’s called a higher ranking. Now go back downstairs in about an hour and act suspicious enough to have them check on us. But don’t go ruining the party.” Chris looked more frustrated than I’ve ever seen him. “And don’t spill our little secret.”
Philip patted Chris’ cheek, then Chris left the room. As soon as he could, he’d go downstairs and get backup.
“You know he’s not going to listen.”
Philip smirked at me this time, “He will listen. I gave him an alpha order.”
“Connor tells him to do stuff; he doesn’t listen all the time.”
Philip nodded, “Alpha orders cannot be broken unless you leave the pack. Chris will pace for his hour, then he’ll go downstairs and rouse suspicion.”
Philip looked at my bed, “How much do you like your bed?”
I shrugged, “It’s nice. Why?”
“Because my dear,” He strode towards my bed “I have a reputation to uphold.”
“And what reputation would that be?” I walked towards him, “The bed destroyer?”
He smirked, but it quickly fell as he looked towards the door. “Great.” He muttered.
“What?” I asked looking in the direction he was looking in.
“I forgot to say no electronics.” He said annoyed.
“Who’s coming?”
“Connor.”
I sighed and sat down right next to Philip.
He took off his shirt. “No screaming bloody murder.”
My eyes were glued to his stomach. “What?” I couldn’t understand why werewolves always looked so good without shirts on. Then he had me on my bed, my feet buried in my pillows and him climbing on top of me. “What are you doing?” I asked in a whisper.
“I’m going to make your brother very uncomfortable.” He said happily. “You’re going to have to just trust me.”
I sighed, but nodded. I didn’t have much of a choice here. He lifted my knees and positioned himself in between my legs. My dress bunched at my hips.
Philip came into my very personal space and nudged my head to the side so he’d have access to my neck. “Good girl.” He purred, tickling my neck. I barely contained my laugh.
He looked up when Connor opened my door. He smirked, “Good evening Alpha.”
“What are you doing here?”
Philip looked down at me with smirk, then looked back at my brother, “How about I find you in the morning? Then we can talk.”
I looked over at my brother, who just sighed, “This isn’t a good plan Casey.”
“What plan?” I said innocently.
“I told him.” Philip said low enough for me to hear. Since the door was open, he didn’t want the secret to reach eavesdropping ears.
“She’s not a good actress.” Connor muttered looking right into my eyes. I just stuck my tongue out at my brother.
Philip smiled, “Good thing I have ways around that then.”
Connor rolled his eyes and left my door cracked open.
“I’m a great actress.” I muttered looking back at Philip.
He just smiled at me. “He just means your faking isn’t going to trick your wolf.”
“And why not?”
“Because he’d know all the noises you make in bed, wouldn’t he?”
I opened my mouth with an immature retort, but I stopped myself. “Sex wasn’t in the deal.”
He nodded, “I know.”
“Then what’s your way around it then?”
“It’s pack magic.” He said with exaggerated mysteriousness. He gave up when I gave him a look to let him know I wasn’t falling for any tricks. “It’s just a little trick that makes girls putty in my hands.”
“Like what Grayson can do?”
He nodded, “Yes, I suppose it would be like that.”
“Does that mean my feelings for Grayson is just a big trick?”
He shook his head, “It doesn’t work like that.” He unzipped my dress. I put my hand on his, stopping his. “You’ll see. The pack magic is all about lust. It has nothing to do with those pesky other feelings.”
“Then why would he use it on me?”
Philip shrugged, “You’d have to ask him. It’s not something I use often.”
“Then why would you use it?”
He smirked, “It helps to seduce those who are resistant to my good looks.”
“So you can trick pretty girls to sleep with you?”
He nodded, “And to give girls a night they will never forget.”
“How?”
He cleared his throat, now a bit uneasy. “It intensifies female satisfaction.”
I pursed my lips. “You’re not going to trick me into sleeping with you then?”
He sighed and sat up on his knees. He put his one hand over his heart and the other in the air. “I swear that no matter how badly you want to jump my bones through the course of this evening, I will not let you.”
“Ha.” I said unamused, “Very funny.”
He leaned over me again. “If it makes you feel any better, I’m definitely going to need a very long and very cold shower later.”
He placed his hand gently on my thigh, “I’ll start slow.” I sighed. I was nervous. He smiled, “Don’t be scared. I never break my promises.”
I just closed my eyes and nodded. The lustiness simmered deep in my belly. I didn’t have butterflies like I did with Grayson. It was just a burning need. He slowly cranked up the power, making me more and more aroused.
“This is what it feels like to be under my influence.” It felt fantastic, but when I was with Grayson it felt so different. There was no connection here.
Then after a few moments of the sweet, sweet torture he ended that session. I was breathing like I had just sprinted for a mile.
“That is a handy little trick.”
He smirked and nodded, “Yes it is.”
