Untitled Part 2

Lose now Pay later

Our planet had been beaten, destroyed, and left in ruin after sun storm Heef. The worst sun storm we've had since 1870, one hundred and seventy-one years ago.All the buildings, travel tubes, and the capitol ford buildings were gone. We had to act and quickly. Rounding up all the Councillors seemed like the best way to approach the problem.

"We need to find a solution," announced  Council member Albion, "Last week we got in tell that the Rewonts are planning an attack."

After total silence that seemed to last forever, one of my friends, Bianca, finally spoke up.

"I know it's risky, but I think we all know that the best option is to take energy from the humans."

"What your saying makes sense," I stated, "The humans have a good amount unneeded fat. They go on diets all the time, trying to lose the fat. If we were to come up with a solution to get rid of the fat-"

"Then they would flock like sheep to get their hands on it," finished Counciler Alessandra.

"It's a brilliant idea. I couldn't believe we hadn't thought of that years ago."declared Leif. After the meeting we got to work finding a team of people who would qualify the job, which included myself, and started working out the kinks of the plan. By the time o twenty the next day we were ready to go.

First we would down a team of people we named the Swoodies, Leif's idea, to make the skinny humans fat so we could harvest more fuel. Then two months later the Slimmers, including myself, would come in with energy harvesting machines and take away all the unwanted fat for twenty five earth dollars though we have no use for them. We would keep track of how much fuel we have by pricking them with a blue pen after they lose ten pounds. We needed to get 3,574,690 pricks to have enough fuel to fix Pluto.

"No matter what happens down there, do not abort the mission," exclaimed Counciler Reza. "Use any amount force if necessary to complete the job."

"Please go to the designated areas you were assigned."announced one of the announcers.

We made it to earth at different times because of the humans unnecessary time zones. I mean honestly, why bother to figure out different time zones when a war could be waging somewhere? I guess the world may never know. My group was sent to the North America, where we were given fake ID's and set up swoodies stations. When we were done, all of us decided to check out the place we would be staying for who knows how long. Most of us got "middle-class" homes. A few were in nursing homes and orphanages. I was lucky and got a large home with three garages, a pool, five bedrooms and a huge kitchen.Though it wasn't as good as my home on Pluto, or at least used as good as it used to be, it would do for now. After along day all I wanted to do was get something to eat and go to bed.

The next day the ball started rolling. My and a guy named Alden opened the swoodies stores in Tennessee, Florida ,Georgia and New York. It was only a matter of time before thing would get going.

It only took a month for most every humans to try swoodies and instantly fall in love with it. Now, it was my time to play out the plan. I positioned my station across the swoodies in park city. It wasn't after three in human time when I saw my first clients. They looked at the sign

"What's that mean?" asked the brunette with black pants and a tie-dye shirt.

"It means that this machine can make you slimmer," I replied as rehearsed, "just step inside and you'll lose unwanted fat."

All they did was stare at me like I had seven heads. Finally the redhead spoke up,

"How can a thing like this make you slimmer?"

I shrugged "A new process.Do you care to try? Twenty-five yen to lose one pound of body fat."

They both started laughing. I knew humans were rude but not this rude. To think I felt guilty about taking their energy without them knowing.

After much persuasion the redhead payed one hundred and thirty yen to lose five pounds. When she came out, I have to admit, she looked great. Her friend, on the other hand, wasn't convinced so they left. Forty-five minutes later they returned so that the brunette could lose twelve pounds.

"For safety's sake I'll have to prick your wrist, my dear" I lied. The machine was totally safe, "For every ten pounds you lose we give a tiny mark. Nobody will ever notice."

After they left the humans just came rolling in. If things kept going the way they were, by next month in human time, we would have enough fuel to us to clean up three major sun storms. It was smooth sailing until one day, six weeks after my first clients had came, we were getting reports from Japan that the people were destroying the slimmers and swoodies saying that they were evil spirits. At first no one cared, we thought it was just a one time and done thing, but then these type of seneros were popping up more often. Finally me and the other leaders of the mission, after much debate, decided to take action and do the last thing we wanted to do, release the Amaryllis plague. This plague would make the humans lose their most valuable sense. The ability to think critically.

The disease wouldn't take effect right way. It took a couple of days for it to activate. The symptoms were runny nose, cough, migraine, fatigue, and vomiting. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, the plague went to work, making the humans mind and nervous systems weaker. The plague would only work for seventy-two hours, so we had to work quickly and effectively.

"All workers have been accounted for," One of the lieutenants stated

"Send all workers to the port to wait for the ships,"I acknowledged.

After wrapping up all precautions, I made an announcement.

"Workers as you know, our planet was greatly damaged by the recent sun storm. We were sent here to collect energy so we could repair all the damage done. Unfortunately things did are not going as planned. The humans have decided to rebel. We had to take things into our own hands. Right now they are suffering from the Amaryllis plague. The plague puts them in a coma like state. We are three thousand five hundred gallons short of fuel. I have sent a hologram to the Councillors stating the current events and they have given the okay to continue as we have practiced. Please go to work and finish what you started."

As if by magic, the workers went back to work immediately. Most likely because they were homesick.Earth was not as exciting as I pictured it, I mean the food and places are great at first but then they kind of seem washed out after a while. Also they have these horrible things called ads and they are so irritating. Who wants to watch someone's sad attempt to sell a good for nothing item when you could be watching Dora the Explorer?

After two hours, all the work was done. When all the slimmers and swoodies were accounted for and onboard the ships, volunteers moved the humans back where they lived. When everything was done, we packed up and left. Verena and some others felt bad so they left the money they had earned with their neighbors, but other than that everything when as planned. When we got back, the next month went by in a blur. The reconstruction was successful in my opinion. The Councillors approved the idea to add some of the human things that we enjoyed.Even after all the renovations and add ons, there was still had extra fuel left over that we had no use for.

"Maybe we should give it back to the humans," suggested Cosimia, "it was theirs to begin with."

"But they were so happy when we took the fat away, why give it back? We should give them something in thanks for helping us get our planet back to normal," I argued.

"How about we give them the swoodies and slimmers back, we have no use for them anyway,"offered Alessandra.

What she was saying made sense. All the people who tasted the swoodies thought it was disgusting and we are naturally skinny so the swoodies and slimmers were pointless. Giving the swoodies and slimmers back to the humans would be like giving them joy.

"I think that's a brilliant idea." I agreed.

Afterwards we gathered a group of people to go back to earth and set up the swoodies and slimmers with instructions and a thank you note. I think that we will develope a better relationship with the humans from earth.

Until then, signing out:
