Part XXXVIII
A
DEEMING
LETTER
I met a girl,
A long time ago.
She seemed so small,
Yet precious as a pearl.
The reason I'm telling you this;
Is to open your eyes and recall.
I met this girl,
once upon a time.
She was just a lass,
Who loved to twirl and twirl.
I met a girl,
one sad day.
She cried in the corner,
and with her cries,
She ultimately lures.
I met a girl,
not very long ago.
She told me a secret;
A secret I tell you!
I met a girl,
just a few days earlier.
With scars down her arms,
and I gazed back in awe.
I met a girl,
just yesterday.
And you know what she said?
"Just promise you won't miss me, okay?"
Yes, I met a girl.
And she truly tore my heart apart.
I just wish;
I could've listened a bit harder,
Cared bit deeper,
And been a bit better.
And now I can only regret;
That I could not give her;
My deeming letter😢

I've had this poem in my head for the longest ever. I wanted to share it because of the fact that this is the real truth now. You'll always meet that one friend you couldn't save. And I wrote this poem not because I lost someone....but more like I lost a part of myself. I hope this poem was a bit self-explanatory!:)
P.s: Sorry for the tears!! 😉
