A resonating frustrated echo,
Reminiscing a story of woe.
A bloodied rose of sadness,
Grappling with far out stretched fingers.
A stuffed mechanical heart,
A tear, trembling apart.
A jittering whisper of "Anyone There?"
Scattering across the sidewalk.
A silently dark sun,
Brooding frightfully bright.
An ashy and yet so parched taste upon its fruits.
With swaddling steps and broken slouches.
With lifeless eyes and numbing thoughts.
With slippery steps and bleeding smiles.
Yes, I welcome you to Lone Town.
Just another lonesome day in Lone Town.
