Jessica's POV

Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm 25 years old. I'm a lifeguard at Long Island beach with Jason Grace. Jason is the kindest, smartest, most handsome guy I have ever met, and I know it sounds cliche but I just have a feeling that we're meant to be! I'm pretty sure he likes me too, because he's never mentioned anything about a girlfriend and we're really close. We sit up there and talk for hours, so we know everything about each other. Jason's also a teacher, but in the summer and on some weekends, he's a lifeguard.

Today was the busiest day of the year, the first day of summer! So that means we have to keep a lookout, there's lots of girls here but Jason doesn't seem interested in them, that's another reason I think he likes me. He's just shy sometimes so it will probably take him a while to ask me out, but it's worth the wait! We're in deep conversation, when a woman about our age walks over, and I have to say, I'm jealous! She has long brown hair that's in braids and goes down past her mid-back, and kaleidoscope eyes that really suit her, she's beautiful! But what worries me is that when she walks over, Jason's eyes light up and he smiles. This is the happiest I have ever seen him! Oh no!

She runs the rest of the way over here and shouts up, "Hey Sparky!" He shouts, "Hey beauty queen, get up here!" She climbs up and says smugly, "Only Leo can call me that!" Oh Thank God! I think, Leo must be her boyfriend! But then Jason says, "Sit down Pipes, I need to introduce you." He sits down and then pats his knee. Leo wouldn't be happy with that! She sits and turns to me, she says, "Hi, I'm Piper Grace, nice to meet you, I've heard a lot about you!" I put on a fake smile and say politely, "Nice to meet you too!" Then Jason asks, "Where are the kids?" "Playing with, Charlie, Silena. Percy and Annabeth are watching them." She replies.

"Who's kids?" I ask. Jason laughs and says, "Ours!" I can literally feel my heart break, "You're not serious!" I say. "I didn't know you had kids!" "Yeah, two, one on the way!" He smiles and pats Pipers stomach. Just then two kids run up shouting, "Mommy, Daddy, Uncle McShizzles on fire!" I realise that the kids are Jason and Pipers kids, they're really cute. I realise that me and Jason aren't meant to be, but that doesn't matter, there's other people in the world, that are also perfect for me and don't have three kids and a wife. This time I don't need a fake smile, it comes naturally, "I'm really happy for you guys, and Congratulations!" They smile and say, "Thanks!" I end up going to their house for dinner afterwards and I am now friends with all of their friends!

3 years later..................

I go to their house every Friday for dinner now and their kids, Tommy and Amy, call me Aunt Jess now. I'm now pregnant with my second child, because I really did find the person I'm meant for, his name is Austin, Wills brother. Yes, I'm a demigod, daughter of Aphrodite, Im Pipers sister! Me and Austin got married 1 year ago and our daughter, Melanie, is 6 months old, I'm now pregnant with a boy and we're going to name him Michael. Life has been great with Austin and I can't wait for the new baby to come!
