Haileys POV

Hi, my name is Hailey and I go to Mountain Bridge high school. I'm best friend with my soulmate, although he doesn't know it yet, Leo Valdez. He's not as strong as some of the 'popular boys' but he never lets them get to him. The day I met him, I was getting bullied by some of the 'popular girls' and when Leo noticed he came right over and stood up from me. We've been inseparable ever since and the girls have never bothered me again! I've now known Leo for 2 years now and I've fallen for him even more every day since then. I love everything about him, his humorous personality, his curly brown hair that falls over his eyes,and his chocolate brown eyes that make me melt.

Leo's my best friend altogether and at school, but I also have a really good friend that doesn't go to my school called Calypso. She's really nice and she's always talking about her boyfriend, and the way describes him, I wish I could have something like that with someone, preferably Leo. We're just meant to be! Although, she won't tell me his name which is really annoying! Anyway, me, Leo and Calypso are all going to lunch, because they've never met each other before. Calypso's bringing her boyfriend with her, so finally I get to meet him!

I'm heading to lunch, we're all making our own way down. I walk in and see that neither of them are there yet, so I sit down and wait for them. A couple minutes later they both walk in together, that's such a coincidence! I wave over to them and they smile and head over. When they sit down, we talk for a bit and they talk like they're best friends. I was worried they wouldn't get along! After a while, I notice that Calypso's boyfriend isn't here yet, maybe he couldn't make it. "Calypso, is your boyfriend coming ?" I ask. She and Leo look at each other and laugh, they're laughing so hard they're nearly rolling around on the floor, but she recovers and says, "Sorry about that, Hailey, Meet my boyfriend!" And points to Leo! That's when I felt my heart break. "No" I muttered loud enough for them to hear, I tried not to cry but I couldn't help it. "You only met, how is this possible." I half whispered. Calypso looked guilty, "Actually, we've been together for 3 years." She said. Leo says, "Yeah and I'm sorry Hailey, but I love her very much." She smiles at him and I realise by the way that they look at each other that they really do love each other, as much as I had to admit it. I couldn't help it though, my heart was still broken, I ran home and cried for hours. I was sure we were meant to be, how could this happen to me!

I was too embarrassed to speak to Leo from then on, but one day, I was walking out of school and I saw a Delphi's Strawberry Service van parked outside. Around, 10 teenagers hopped out and Calypso was one of them, I hadn't spoken to her either. I saw Leo running at full speed towards them, "Sunshine!" He shouted, and ran up to Calypso. "Repair Boy!" She laughed. He hugged everyone else and then after a while, they all got in the van, including Leo. And after that, I never saw Leo Valdez again.
