Gauri (monologue) : Delhi (laughing a little) itna toh samajh hi gaye honge aap (gauri is walking on road and birds fly away) ki diwali bahut khubsurat hoti hai (houses decorated with lights are shown) aur hogi q nhi itne saare log, dukaano me jalte hue diye, patakhe, mithaiyaan, rangein aur charo taraf roshni hi roshni (one by one all the things are shown and Gauri is looking at them being lost in her dreamland) lekin hm sirf yahaan pe naukri karte hai aur apne ek dost ke sath rehte hai hamare chote se flat me (the day passes and evening starts with the setting of sun but the crowd of Delhi increases) iss waqt woh ghar pe hi hai, usi ke khatir hm bahar aaye hai, socha diwali ki kuch shopping karke use surprise diya jaaye (while eating ice-cream) bahut khush hoga woh... (while riding back home) woh bolta bahut kam hai, magar woh sath nhi hota toh yeh diwali v hme akele hi manani padti...)

Gauri reaches her house and opens the door holding a bag..

G(while keeping bags on table) : hey John, (a cute teddy bear is shown) hm aa gaye and happy Diwali chalo chal kr diya jalate hain..

She took out the diya and lights it in front of the door and smiles beautifully.

Later she came on terrace holding her bags and her friend John.

She kept the idol of Lord Laxmi and Lord Ganesh.. She does the aarti and Sat on the nearby chair hugging her teddy bear.. She put the blanket on both of them and starts looking at the star..

G(to John) : Jaante ho John, tauji kya kehte hai, kehte hai taaro ko dekh kar nind aa jaye toh saare sapne sach ho jaate hai..

She smiles and again look at stars being lost in them and slowly sleep overtook her with bursting of candles in the sky...
