-Nagito P. O. V.-

"Now then." I said, breaking back into the conversation. "What exactly are we all planning to do?"

"Well." Byakuya said. "I believe that we are all free to do whatever we want on this island. I, for one, am going to go to the library."

"You're just gonna read in the library? How boring." Hiyoko teased.

"No, you tiny wad of scum." he continued. "I'm going to take one of the books back to my new shared cottage, where I can read without being bothered by anybody. You." He pointed to Toko.

"Y-Yes, M-Master?" She looked ecstatic.

"I left my cottage door unlocked. When I return there with my literature, I expect a cup of tea, still warm, to be sitting on the table in there. And if you are still inside when I return, you should not expect any more attention."

"R-Right away, Master!" She walked over to Teruteru. "You. Y-You are going to help me make the t-tastiest cup of tea for Master! And if you don't, I'll zap myself with this taser!"

"How exactly is that threatening?" The chef asked.

"Trust me. You don't want to know." Komaru warned.

With that, the hopeless romantic dashed off to the kitchen, dragging the poor perverted chef along with her.

"I guess he's right. We're free." Haiji said. "I'm going to go do what I've always wanted to do for a while now. Sleep. Fighting Monokumas is tough work." Haiji walked back towards the motel.

"What a hopeful agenda." I commented.

"Hey, I can't help it if I'm such a nuisance!" Monokuma said.

"Well. I'm gonna go get some more gummies! The ones in my present box are all gone. You guys are totally ruining my mood as well. Especially you, pig barf!" Hiyoko stomped off towards the supermarket.

"W-Why is it always me!?" Mikan shrieked.

"Monaca wants to go to the amusement park with all her friends!" the green haired girl cheered.

"Yeah! That's sounds awesome!" Masaru cheered.

"I wouldn't hate that." Jataro added.

"Come on, guys! Let's all go the adorbs amusement park with Monaca!" Kotoko yelled.

"I'll help her down the stairs." Nagisa groaned, moving towards the stairs.

The five kids left the restaurant together.

"Hey, don't you even think about leaving me behind! I want to ride that crazy roller coaster, too, kiddos!" Kurokuma bounded after the kids.

"Well, I don't know about you guys, but working at Future Foundation hasn't given me any time to work out! So, Sakura. Care to join me for a workout?" Hina said.

"Sure, Hina. It's... been a while, to say the least." Sakura said with a smile.

"Hey, I'll join you two. Only one person is allowed to be stronger than me on this island, and that's coach Nekomaru!" Akane yelled.

"Hey, you three will need someone to manage you. I'll set up a training regiment!" Nekomaru yelled.

'I won't let my big sis get stronger than me! Count me in!" Yuta shouted, going to his sister's side.

"It sounds fun. Count me in, too!" Komaru said, joining the still growing group.

"Hey, don't fucking leave me out of this! I finally have a guy that I can spar with! C'mon, Chihiro. You wanted to get stronger, right?" Mondo screamed.

The programmer nodded, tucking his laptop under his arm and going to his friend's side.

"Son, I'll help you, too. I think we can both get stronger." Chihiro's dad, Taichi, said also joining the workout group.

"I kind of want to get stronger, too!" Shirokuma bounced over to the group.

"Well, I need someway to slim down. Might as well start now." Twogami said, stomping over to them.

"Why do you want to lose weight all of a sudden?" Kazuichi asked.

"Your leader should be a prime example of a fit body. My current form is something less than desirable." The fat man told us.

And with that, all of them left the restaurant to find a good spot to workout, probably at the beach on the second island.

"Well, then, Miss Sonia! Would you care to join me in searching for parts to build Monaca her chairlift?" Kazuichi swooned.

"She already left with Gundam to go build sandcastles at the beach on this island." Mahiru said.

The mechanic was surprised. "Fine. I'll go collect parts on the fifth island alone, then." He sulked off.

"Fine, you need someone to watch out for you. Man up once in a while." Mahiru followed the depressed mechanic.

"Hey, I'll come too, dudes!" Hiro ran off after them.

"I might as well spend some quality time with my son. Maybe he finally found a girlfriend. Yeah, who am I kidding?" Hiroko said, walking after Hiro.

"What a hopeful bunch." I once again said.

"I think I'll go see if that perverted chef will also make me a cup of tea." Celeste said, calmly walking off to where Toko ran.

"Master Celestia Ludenburg! Let me get your tea for you!" Hifumi ran after her.

"Ibuki's in the mood to jam on her new guitar! Ibuki's going to the music venue!" Ibuki bounced away.

"That sounds fun! I can sing with her!" Sayaka hurried after her.

"Yeah, I guess I'll go watch them." Leon followed.

"Yeah, a rock concert sounds jamming!" Junko was the next to go after them.

"Well, I think I'll go to the supermarket and get some more martini mix!" Monokuma said, heading in that direction.

"Oh no, you don't! I  don't trust you by yourself!" Monomi sternly followed after Monokuma.

"Well, I think I'll go see if the military base has any knives or guns. I need to keep my skills sharp!" Mukuro walked off, stretching.

"Hey! Deadly weapons are not welcome in a school environment!" Taka yelled, chasing after her.

"Yeah, well I'm going to the supermarket, too. No reason to be ashamed anymore, I guess." Fuyuhiko said.

"Young master, I will join you." Peko said, walking with him to the supermarket.

"Such a hopeful group." I said, folding my arms.

"You know what. Just shut up, Nagito." Hajime said.

"Hajime, what's with all the hostility? Surely you can't be mad at me for what happened, right?" I told him. "Or, is it that you having no Ultimate talent is starting to get to you?"

"You... bastard!" Makoto, Kyoko, Chiaki, Mikan and I looked surprised.

"What?" I asked, defensively.

"You can just casually laugh that off? Without even apologizing!? Really? It's going to take a miracle for me to forgive you, with or without you apologizing."

"Apologize for what?" I asked him.

"You know what you did. Your final goodbye. I thought what I cared about the most was gone forever... But now their back."

I grinned. "That's all I needed to hear. Chiaki, I'm sorry for tricking you into killing me. Happy, Hajime?"

"What do you mean that's all you needed to hear?" He had calmed down a lot, but was very confused.

"I said that's all I needed to hear. That I took away what was most precious to you?"

Hajime suddenly realized what I was talking about, and blushed, hiding behind his hands.

"Well uh... We're gonna go. C'mon Kyoko, let's go to the diner on the second island." Makoto said, dragging the willing Kyoko with him, leaving me, Hajime, Chiaki, and Mikan alone.

"Hajime, let's go to my cottage and play some video games." Chiaki said, tugging on his sleeve.

Hajime silently nodded and went with the girl.

"Well, Mikan. I guess that leaves you and me."

"W-What are we going to d-do?" She asked, stuttering.

"Well, just come with me. Let's go to the hospital on the third island." I told her.

"I-I'd like that very much." She shyly admitted.

I took her hand and we left the restaurant.
