"So, what do we do now?" Hiro asked.

Izuru's face flashed on a monitor in the church. "Oh, sorry. One last thing. Each of you Jabberwock kids still get to sleep in your cottages, but you have to bunk with one of the Hope's Peak kids. The rest of you can sleep at the motel. Here's the sleeping arrangements."

"Hajime and Makoto.

Chiaki and Kyoko.

Kazuichi and Yasuhiro.

Akane and Hina.

Twogami and Byakuya.

Sonia and Celeste/Taeko.

Nekomaru and Kiyotaka.

Fuyuhiko and Mondo.

Peko and Sakura.

Mahiru and Mukuro.

Hiyoko and Junko.

Nagito and Leon.

Mikan and Sayaka.

Teruteru and Hifumi.

Ibuki and Toko.

Gundham and Chihiro.

Also, to answer any other lingering questions. Chiaki is human, no longer an AI, for her and Hajime's enjoyment. I'll also be doing morning and nighttime announcements, but I won't be judging the trials. You'll see what happens later. Anyway, you should all go to your cottages and your rooms. I left each of you a special present!"

The screen flashed off, but we were already running towards our cottages. Though, I had his words lingering in my head.

What did he mean, "for my enjoyment?" I understand why Chiaki would enjoy it, she gets to hang out with us again. What did he mean? (I'll be using italics to display their thoughts.)

When we arrived at the hotel, I could already hear excited screams, mostly from Ibuki, coming from their cottages. Makoto and I entered ours and found that there was another bed, exactly the same as mine against another wall of the room. I assume that's Makoto's bed. Each bed had a present, wrapping paper, bow and all, sitting on it. I went over to mine, Makoto then figuring out which bed was his, went over to his box.

I unwrapped the box and found something that made me very happy.

"Kusamochi!" (Pictured above) I pulled out the sweet and started eating it right away, being hungry from not having anything to eat on the island. After eating it, I noticed a small money pouch in the box and picked it up. I noticed my name sewed on it. It felt like something was inside, so I looked and found some Monocoins, 100 to be exact. I guess these are for the supermarket, the vending machine, and the Monomono Machine.

"Hey Makoto, what did you get?"

"What?" The hopeful kid was eating a small bowl of curry.

"Was that all that was in your box?"

"No." He held up a money pouch, similar to mine, but this one had his name on it. "I got 100 Monocoins."

I nodded. "Me too. I also got some kusamochi. I guess our presents was our favorite foods and some money."

He shrugged. "I guess so."

"Everybody is probably going to go to the restaurant after this. Might as well go." Makoto said, practically out the door already.

I went after him. As we left, we ran into someone.

"Hajimeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Ibuki screamed happily. "Wasn't that Izuru guy's gift amazing!? Ibuki got brand new guitar!"

Makoto and I exchanged a confused look. "Did you get anything else?"

"Nope! Well, Ibuki got a money pouch with 50 Monocoins, but that's not something to blog about!"

"Wait, only 50?"

"Yep! Ibuki's not complaining. Ibuki is going to invest this money in the stock market and become the Wolf of Wall Jabberwock Island Street!" And with that, she bounced off toward the restaurant.

"Well, that's interesting. Ibuki got less money than we did." Makoto wondered.

"We should bring it up at the restaurant." I told him as we continued walking.

"Yeah."

When we arrived at the restaurant, everybody was gathered around one table.

"What's going on, guys?" I asked.

"Hajime!" Chiaki said, pulling her head out of the crowd. "Come look at this!"

Makoto and I approached the group and found Chihiro sitting at the table with a laptop in front of him. On the laptop, was a picture of his face.

The face on the laptop spoke. "Oh, Hajime! It's great to see you again." The voice was very upbeat and cheery, and was a near perfect match of Chihiro's voice, the difference being it sounding slightly computerized.

"Again? Do I know you?"

The computer seemed sad. "Do you not remember me?"

"This is my AI program that I made at Hope's Peak." Chihiro introduced. "This is Alter Ego."

"Oh! Alter Ego! I remember now. This little guy helped me big time in the simulation!" I said.

"I'm so glad you remember!" Alter Ego said.

"So, what can this guy do?" Fuyuhiko asked. "The security cameras are gone, so he can't view any videos. What kind of things can he do?"

"Well, I can probably hack into the monitor system so I can inform all of you about important things. And maybe I can help with the trials, if I can think of a way." He answered.

"Not to be rude, but there's something I want to talk about." Makoto said.

"Is it about the presents that we found in our rooms?" Twogami asked.

"Yeah. I'm curious about something." Makoto replied.

"If it's about where I found Alter Ego's laptop, it was in my present box. Along with a money pouch with 50 Monocoins." Chihiro said.

"Well, I got a box of donuts." Hina said, munching on one. "And a pouch with 50 coins."

"I got that too, but instead of donuts, I got a new crystal ball." Hiro added.

"Did we all get something that we liked with a money pouch of 50 Monocoins?" Kazuichi asked aloud.

Most of us nodded.

"Well, me and Makoto got 100 Monocoins in our pouches." I said aloud.

Nagito laughed. "How unfortunate." He said.

We all turned to him. "What are you talking about?" Peko asked.

"My present was a bit more interesting. I got box full of amazing, hopeful bagels, and my money pouch had 1000 coins in it."

We were all shocked.

"1000 coins! You lucky bastard!" Mondo yelled.

"That's... kind of his thing." Akane said. "He's a bastard, he's lucky, he loves bagels, and he has a hard-on for hope."

"You... don't have to put it like that." Kazuichi said.

"Oh, man up!" Mahiru scolded. "You're always talking about perverted stuff and obsessing over Sonia!"

"Shut up..." he quietly retorted.

"You two, stop fighting. There's another thing I'm wondering." I told them.

Mahiru blushed ever so slightly for whatever reason. "O-Okay, Hajime. Continue."

"Thank you." I turned to Monaca. "You. How did you get up here in your wheelchair? There isn't a ramp."

The girl giggled. "Monaca got help from her friends in the Warriors of Hope getting up the stairs! Nagisa was so strong and helpful doing it!"

The blue haired boy blushed a little as Kazuichi spoke up again. "I can install a chairlift if you kids want. I'd just need some parts and some tools."

"Won't that be kind of hard? I mean, you'd probably hate us if we made you do that." Jataro said.

Kazuichi laughed. "It's nothing for the Ultimate Mechanic!" He turned to Mahiru. "You happy, now? Was that being man enough for you?"

She looked at him. "Shut up."
