Meet the Characters
Let's meet the students featured in Every Which Way!
Blake Hayate
Blake can be described simply as stubborn, one-track minded, and the one with temper issues, which he admits himself. He can be determined, which often comes off as stubbornness as when he is into something, there is nothing to deter his focus until that task is done with. He is quick to temper flares and wouldn't hesitate to throw a few punches whenever he is pissed beyond control. He is also the type to shoulder burdens alone, being too prideful to share them with others.
Taiji Kurumada
Taiji is the brains of his group, with a good head above his shoulders, and the same can be said for his judging characteristics. He is the type to take the safest and the most result yielding route for the problems he is facing. He is the type to look out for others and lead them to the right direction when they are going the wrong way. He can be a natural leader in the needed times and won't let the ones he is leading down, that's for sure. He is the type to use his brains more than brawn as he has more confidence in his thinking capabilities.
Gabi Noazki
Gabi here believes herself to be the girl next door with no special qualities in her that would make her stand out in the crowd, and she is surprisingly content with being that way. She would rather help her friends move forward and be the one to tell their tales to a wider mass....yeah, she wants to be a reporter. She can be strong-willed when needed, and there are rare moments where she loses her cool, but when she does....RUN! Currently, she is in the General Studies Department of U.A.
Mordecai Rockefeller
Mordecai "Rocket" Rockefeller finds that the simplest way to escape attention is by roughing it in the background. Dead parents, no voice, and a creepy Quirk don't exactly add up to a relatable main character, and Rocket firmly believes he's the last person to be the protagonist. Find out if he lives up to this in his short story, I See Dead People.
Tallulah Rosemary
Tallulah Rose isn't your average protagonist. This stubborn, rash, cyborg inventor is nothing less than a bitch and a half, leaving her stuck in the background as a mere extra while she climbs her way up from sidekick to main character. Follow her through her series of bizarre and extraordinary adventures of life, death, love, and science.
Koto Yamada
The petite, mute ballerina, Koto Yamada, is anything but quiet. She joined the U.A. hero program at the request of her family but grew to love the hero scene. Her quirk, Illuse, helped her make a big splash with the ability to create sound through vibrations in a certain range. She can only make what she knows, so it's a good thing she has memorized her beloved classic rock and Disney songs.
Akihiko Mochizuki
The elder twin who tends to stay behind and keep his mouth shut. He has no need to say his opinion unless needed. Because of this, his sister does the talking for both of them. He may be quiet, but that does not mean he is brushing you aside. His Quirk, Reflective Crystallization, allows him to convert glass and mirrors into gemstones.
Tanami Mochizuki
The younger twin, who's more likely than not, will rush into something without thinking about it first. She's the one who's more outgoing and ecstatic over things, especially sweets. Although she may come off as pushy sometimes, she does have good intentions. Her Quirk, Sugar Crystallization, allows her to convert the sugar in her body into gemstones.
Nicolette Takatsuki
Nicolette may come off as a shy and nervous girl, but when it comes to helping others, her anxiety fades away. With the goal of becoming a Hero, she tries to gain more confidence within herself to achieve that wish. Her Quirk, Kitsune, has given her two white and red ears alongside nine tails of the same coloring. She also has the abilities of a kitsune as well.
Kaito Oba
Hearing his name is enough to make many groan in agony, but Kaito truly has a good heart as he wants to make people smile. To help achieve this goal, he plans to become the hero that can make people happy and feel safe. He also wants to inspire people as his Quirk was never seen as a Quirk that could make it far in the Heroic Department. With his Quirk, Light, he can make his body glow, but he has worked hard to focus that light to create light beams with it.
Sakura Sakai
Sassy, fashionable, and a hopeless romantic are three ways to describe the unforgettable Sakura Sakai. Despite being a girly girl, her main goal in life is to become a Pro Hero that can help others who cannot defend themselves. With her Quirk, Common Vine, she can grow any type of vine she knows of out of her joints and extend them however she likes.
Tami Smith
While Tami Smith started out in the Hero Department, a Pro Hero is the last thing she wanted to be. Because of this, she transferred over to the General Department, hoping to find a purpose in her life. Tami loves helping others and making others happy (but not in the superficial way). Her Quirk, BioChange, allows her to change into other people; however, how she can use it in a future career, Tami is clueless and hopes to find the answer soon.
Hikaru Akiba
Hikaru Akiba is a clever, reserved Hero Course student from U.A. The nature of his Quirk tends to make people avoid him. Well most, a certain pink-haired girl is rather fond of him. It is unclear exactly why he chose to join the Hero track. Regardless of his reason for being on this trip, his Quirk is sure to make things interesting.
Hiroto Mori
Hiroto Mori is everyone's favorite bat boy. While he can be jealous and petty, he is also an extremely loyal friend. Mori is someone who has always hated his Quirk due to his past and how some people are treated because they have simple mutation Quirks. He would change his Quirk in a heartbeat if he could. But you know what they say, be careful what you wish for...
Kita Yukimura
Kita Yukimura is the headstrong protagonist of Kita's Legacy. She is a Muay Thai prodigy who has a strong desire to reform hero society. After a Pro failed to save her older sister in a villain attack, a hatred for heroes bloomed inside of Kita. She decided she would become a hero and show everyone what a Pro should be. Like Mori, Kita struggles to love her mutation. She's in for a rude awakening when she realizes just how much she's come to rely on it.
Vivi Flores-Mena
Vivienne, a spunky dreamer, is the main character of All That I Am. Her Quirk "Transmute" allows her to change the world around her with only a touch and her will. When faced with danger, she gets a rush and won't hesitate to help those around her; although, working in groups is not her forte. Vivi prefers to do it all on her own as a vigilante. After being caught several times, she was forced to enroll into U.A. X, a foreign sister-school to Japan's U.A., in hopes to shape her into a hero. Who knows how well that will go.
Kimbi Okonma
A major side character in All That I Am, Kimbi is Vivienne's mischievous best friend with the dream of achieving what her parents couldn't: becoming a Pro-Hero. She is proud of who she is. Creative and sassy, nothing stops her from displaying her flashy Quirk "Diamond Shield" in various ways— both defensive and offensive.
Hinata Ashikaga
Hinata Ashikaga is a laid back young man who moved back to Japan to attend U.A. after living in the U.S. for a few years. He loves hanging out with friends and always tries to have a good time no matter where they are. His quirk, Metabolism, allows him to redirect energy to different parts of his body, giving himself superhuman strength or speed for a temporary amount of time.
Sarada Ohno
Sarada Ohno is a big ball of energy (despite being small) who loves talking and meeting new people! She lives for sweets and loves spending her free time creating her own clothing. Her quirk, Bee, gives her some physical traits of a bee, such as two pairs of wings and antennae.
Suki Tamura
Due to being born into a wealthy family, Suki Tamura is always aware of acting "proper" and is very dedicated to following the rules. Despite being cold and tense at times, she cares a lot for her friends and strives to help those in need. She loves art, and her favorite pastime is going to museums. Her quirk, Canvas, allows her to create simple objects by drawing them on her skin.
