I said I would post once a week, but then life happened. I don't have anything new to post, even though I do write every day, but I really want to post most often. so once the school year starts, I will try my best to post once every two weeks.

CALCULATED RISKS. a Northbay story. I wonder who teaches math in the Northbay universe. I wonder what kind of story I could tell about them. I wonder why I can't come up with names so I just take names from shows I like.

CLASSMATES AU. a Delayed Messages AU. this features Harrison, but not Quinton, and Hannah, but not Noah. however, it is in the same universe as my convenience store AU, so that may give you a hint on what it's about.

DESTINY. a Northbay story. this may be renamed at some point, because Destiny is just a working title, but it is a hint to what it's about. also, remember that Norman spin-off I mentioned? this might have something to do with that.

LIBRARY AU. a Northbay AU. this will not only introduce a new character, but will also allow you to see Ignatius be a dorky anime nerd in this. I cannot wait to write this.

RESTAURANT AU. a Delayed Messages AU. I've written all of this except the ending, because I have no idea how I should end it, but this hopefully will soon come to a Wattpad near you. it'll also introduce two new characters to the Delayed Messages universe! I'm very excited.

SIXTY SECONDS. a Northbay story. I may never write this, but this is a story I conceived around the same time as my convenience store AU and classmates AU. what do those three stories have in common? you'll just have to find out.

SOULMATES AU. a Delayed Messages AU. I told myself I'd never write a soulmates AU, but I love soulmates AU so much that I eventually broke down and planned one that's very, very long. this particular one is about the first sentence your soulmate says to you.

There's also another Northbay story, but I have no working title for it, so I couldn't add it to the last. However, you can read a preview below!

"Adrian, please pay attention to the demonstration. You wouldn't want to accidentally burn your precious shirt when you attempt to replicate this experiment."

Everyone breaks out in laughter. The shirt in question is a dark red eyelet shirt with ruffled bell sleeves. It is obvious, even to those who barely know Adrian, that the shirt is not his, and Xanhua has no idea why Mx. Yadav would assume so. Two lab stations down, Gerald nudges Adrian in the ribs, and he shoves his friend back hard. Xanhua sighs, pulls on her blue safety goggles, and holds a pair out for her lab partner. However, Janet is too busy laughing a lung out.

"Is there a joke or something I'm not in on?"

"It's nothing, Mx. Yadav." Adrian fiddles with the box of matches at his lab station, blue finger bandages contrasting against the red and white. He manages to take out a match and light the candle at his lab station. Soon the entire classroom smells like lavender. "Gerald's just joking."

"It's totally a joke, teach," Gerald says through laughter, and a moron could tell he didn't mean anything he said. Adrian sighs and walks over to Xanhua's station to light hers up. Before he can, she blows out the match. He raises an eyebrow at her. It's your fault you didn't bring a spare shirt, she challenges, and after a moment, he admits defeat and throws away the match.

"It doesn't seem like a joke." Mx. Yadav seems to notice Xanhua and Adrian's silent arguing because ze asks, "Miss Leong?"

"It's really..." Adrian is silenced by zir glare. She takes the opportunity to snatch the box of matches from him and light up her own candle, the citrus scent overpowering the lavender soon after. "I guess Xanhua can give you an answer." Adrian heads back to his own lab station.

"It's nothing, Mx. Yadav," she says, pulling on Janet's arm. Her laughter is silent as her shoulders shake. No one else is laughing as much as her. "Adrian stayed over last night, so he borrowed a shirt, which is why he's not wearing bright neon. You have the worst taste in clothes."

"I don't want to get hit by a car when I'm running."

Ze laughs. "I think there's a little trouble in paradise right here."

"There was never any paradise," Adrian jokes, and Xanhua grabs the closest thing, in this case an eraser, and throws it at him. Gerald catches it for him. "Do you want your eraser back?"

"It's Janet's. Just toss it back."

Gerald tosses the eraser back as Mx. Yadav begins the demonstration again. Adrian, who wants a good grade, and Janet, who is done laughing, start paying attention. Xanhua watches as the eraser flies over her head, and she goes over to pick it up. As she places it on the counter next to Janet's pencil, she glances over at Adrian in her shirt and then looks down at her own, a short-sleeved tie-front shirt in pale blue polka dots. How did Mx. Yadav not come to the conclusion that both shirts were hers?
