Intense and emotional stuff ahead.

ɴᴏᴠᴇᴍʙᴇʀ 𝟷sᴛ, 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟼. A party was held in the ballroom of Ramada Seoul Hotel for the celebration of Big Hit Entertainment's 11th anniversary in the entertainment industry. Uncle Bang basically invited every single soul that had been contributing to the company to this meaningful event — other entertainment's CEOs, the staff, parents, trainees, friends, cousins, etc. were all present in this very grand ballroom.

I walked up to the entrance with a knee-length turquoise lace dress hugging my curvy body with Jungkook as my partner, while Jungkook was wearing a royal blue suit, his light-brown hair had the style of curled middle parted hair.

"Noona, may I ask you again why are you partnering with me and not Tae hyung?" He asked curiously, and his brows furrowed even more, "Are you guys fighting again?"

"No, Jungkook. Nothing like that."

"Are you avoiding him?"

I looked up at him and narrowed my eyes, "No more question, Jeon Jungkook." I told him solemnly. But he only smirked at this.

"I was right then, you're avoiding him." He smiled even wider with my warning. I guessed he had learned it from me, in becoming more persistent and even more sly.

"No matter how many times you tried to avoid him, Tae hyung is not the type to give up easily, noona. I think you should already know how his personalities are." Jungkook continued on blabbering while I was staring blankly at him.

"I'm not going to show you what your surprise is if you continue to bully your noona like this." I slightly pouted and almost walked away, but he quickly caught up to me while laughing.

"Okay.. okay.. I'm sorry, noona. What's my surprise? Come on, I want to know." He urged me by holding and shaking my right arm, and I found myself trying to suppress a smile because he didn't even realize that he was doing his aegyo, which it was a rare chance to see.

At the same time, I saw Chang Wook's arrival at the entrance and instantly a huge smile found its way across my lips as he looked so good-looking in burgundy suit. I felt my heart jumped in joy when I noticed another man that I had been expecting appeared behind him with a white turtle neck and black suit, his black hair styled the classic pompadour.

"Oh, it's Chang Wook hyung!" Jungkook exclaimed excitedly as he was about to approach him, but his step abruptly halted when he slowly took in the presence of the other man. He just suddenly froze there, awestruck, unable to utter a word.

"Ji.. Jiyong hyung..?" He whispered in disbelief. He slowly turned to look at me with his eyes shaking in pure surprise, and I just smiled warmly at him, at the same time, I was also pitying him. I didn't expect his surprise would egg out such reaction in him.

"Let's welcome your big brother, shall we?" I held onto his hand and gently led him towards the entrance. He was still looking at me, completely awed. I took care of his steps because he couldn't even focus on walking right now as his eyes only glued onto Jeon Jiyong, his half-brother that he hadn't been able to see in five months.

"N-noona, I don't think I'm ready to meet him..." He shook his head and removed his shaking hand from mine as he turned around from facing the entrance. He then brought his gaze down, clenching and unclenching his fist repeatedly in nervous stance. His eyes were slowly getting teary and he looked up, knowing that it would be embarrassing to shed tear in public.

But even though Jungkook told me that he wasn't prepared for this important meeting, I couldn't stop the time either, because Jeon Jiyong himself was making his steps towards us, more specifically, towards his half-brother.

Jiyong's usual significant smirk appeared on his lips as he saw me. "It's been a while, Ms Jinhee."

I smiled at him, while I noticed Jungkook tensed up beside me. "Jiyong oppa, just call me Jinhee." I greeted cheerfully as I gave him a quick hug. He was taken aback for a moment, but quickly replaced with a light chuckle.

It wasn't that I didn't remember what Jeon Jiyong had done to me in the past few months. In fact, I remembered everything vividly, but then I couldn't help but feel happy for his comeback. More specifically, I was truly happy for Jungkook. Because I knew at such young age he had been going through a lot—from his family problems to his unstable emotions, and to his suicide attempt.

I smiled to myself when I was suddenly reminded of my promise to him, when I told him that Jiyong will be waiting for him in the end path of life. And I was proud that we had finally reached that end point, at this very moment.

"Jeon Jungkook, are you not going to greet your hyung? It's been five months though?" He asked, not in a rude way, but in a teasing way as the same wide smile stamped on his face.

I heard Jungkook huffed out a nervous sigh, before slowly, he turned around and was now face-to-face with his big brother. They were staring at each other so long, and in that moment, the big brother was just smiling pleasantly while the little brother slowly broke down into tears.

"Hyung..." Jungkook called out helplessly, still couldn't believe that his brother had finally made his return. Smiling warmly, Jiyong pulled him in and slowly buried him into his embrace.

"Aigoo.. This brat still hasn't changed much. A crybaby, still." He teased again, but then, ironically, Jiyong himself was also crying silently. "I missed you, lil brother." He mumbled softly.

They lingered in the embrace of each other, but when people passing by started to give them a weird look, they immediately broke the hug, because as men of course, they put their pride first not to make a scene in such event. They secretly wiped their tears away before facing each other again.

"Anyway, I'm here, healthier and better for my lil brother, like what I'd promised." He slid his hand onto Jungkook's shoulder and Jungkook smiled back with his tear-stained eyes shone with happiness.

"Come on, hyung. I'll grab you a drink." Jungkook gladly invited his hyung in, and the united brothers excused themselves before they walked away from me, talking quietly yet the happiness was evident in their eyes.

"Oh, ugly bunny." Someone called me from behind, and I rolled my eyes because I knew so well the only person who would call me that.

"Yoongi oppa." I gritted my teeth and turned around as I saw Yoongi in a charcoal gray suit, but my annoyance subsided when I noticed his company in classic black and white suit.

"Ms Jinhee, it's been a while." Mr Min held out his hand, and I smiled politely at him while accepting his handshake.

"Yeah, it's been a while, Mr Min. How's your business going? I heard that you're going to open a new sports store soon?" I asked him, and he nodded with a proud smile.

"Yes, Ms Jinhee. Because recently I've been doing part-time coaching for basketball players, so I thought it might be a good business to expand." He said as he looked at Yoongi, his lips bore a fatherly smile, "It was actually my son's idea, and we decided to become business partners for that sports store."

Yoongi chuckled while fixing his blazer in a boastful manner, "I told him I'm a genius, yet he still won't admit it. Jinhee, oppa is a genius right?" Yoongi glared at his dad in a funny way, then he looked at me with full of anticipation as he asked me that question.

"Unless oppa stop calling me 'ugly bunny', then I'll give you that." I made a deal with him, but he only furrowed his brows as if he was doing some thinking.

"But if you're not ugly, you're not that pretty either." He finally said it, and I dropped my jaw at this, while Mr Min became panicked for a while because of his son's rudeness.

"Then you're just a pabo oppa. Genius, my ass. I'm going to change your contact name to 'pabo mean yoongi'!" I threatened him while taking my phone out to change his contact name, in the meantime, he was trying to stop me while laughing and apologizing.

But because we were both struggling on my phone, we didn't realize that we accidentally touched on the call icon on his contact name, and with that, Yoongi's phone vibrated in Mr Min's hand.

"Son, who's 'cutie little bunny'?" Mr Min showed his phone screen at us. Yoongi and I exchanged a look, before I took some time to process this whole situation, to my phone screen, and to Yoongi's phone screen.

Then I gasped while covering my mouth. "Yoongi oppa."

"No, that's not what you're thinking, Jinhee." Yoongi quickly denied as he snatched his phone from his dad and shoved it inside of his pocket.

"Oppa... Do you–"

"Dad, let's take a seat. Ahh, my legs hurt." Yoongi said in a rush tone as he pulled his dad's arm, and I could only laugh at this.

So mean yoongi isn't that mean after all...

Though they had walked away from me, for some reason, I still found myself looking at both of them in amazement. It was the first time to witness the both of them together after what had happened in the past few months.

I still remembered how Yoongi was back then. Yoongi who was hesitating in everything, Yoongi who was pushing everyone away, and Yoongi who thought that he was all alone and almost took his life away. Now, time had passed and life moved on. Yoongi seemed to appear more talkative and cheerful, though he was still the same when it came to his sleeping habits.

Yoongi told me before that he and his dad were still awkward with each other, but now that I looked at it, everything seemed to be fixed miraculously by itself, because their closeness to each other was visible, and their same gummy smiles at that moment, it literally lit up the whole ballroom blissfully. I could just say that I was truly happy for Yoongi and his father.

I smiled to myself and made my way to the respective table, but I abruptly stopped when a figure who was standing a few meters away from me instantly caught my attention. He was locking arms with a girl, wearing a beautiful gold empire waist dress with her wavy short hair.

"Hi Jinhee." He fast-approaching me with his full-blown smile. An electric blue suit wrapped around his muscled body. It was a little strange that he didn't call me while stretching out my name syllables like how he usually did, and he looked quite shy and timid today.

"Jiminiee! And.. Sara-ssi??" I exclaimed quite loudly as I couldn't control my shocked expression right now. I gave them both a quick hug, but still looked at them in disbelief. They exchanged a meaningful look and laughed a little at seeing my reaction.

"Wait, are you guys..?"

"Yup, Jinhee. She's my girlfriend now." Jimin proudly bragged as he slipped his fingers into hers, while his warm gaze looked at Sara like the way all women want to be looked at by a man. On the other hand, Sara wasn't able to hold her head up, she was known as a shy girl after all. A bright smile stretched across my lips as I watched the new couple silently. They were just too cute to be true.

Jimin wasn't that tall, but thank god, he was taller than Sara. Sara had the frame of a petite girl, so her head almost reached to Jimin's shoulder level. And that applied the same to their intertwined hands as Jimin's small hands seemed to look bigger in hers, as if they fitted together in every miracle way.

"Congratulation, Sara-ssi. It seemed that all three years of investing your feelings for him were all worth it, didn't it?" I whispered into her ears in a teasing tone, and pulled back with a sincere smile. Finally, Sara flashed me one of her sweet smile as she looked more comfortable with me right now.

"Totally worth it." She sent a mischievous wink and we both let out a hearty laugh at this.

While Jimin was giving of us a quizzical look, wanting to know what we were talking about, so I moved my gaze to his and this time whispered into his ears as low as possible, making sure Sara wouldn't hear it, "I'm going to beat you up later, for keeping this secret from me." Then I pulled away, putting on a fake smile.

"S-sara-ssi, do you want some cake? You love chocolate cake right?" Jimin quickly led her to the banquet while smiling nervously, while I just laughed inside. Obviously, he was trying to run away from me. Now it all made sense, when Namjoon complained to me about Jimin's regular midnight sneak out, maybe he was meeting Sara.

But then, I couldn't deny that for some reason, I felt glad and happy for Jimin, that he finally found someone who would love him as much as he would. I knew Jimin, he's a great man and a romantic guy. He loved truly, and he loved big time too.

Jimin definitely deserved someone as sincere and affectionate as Sara, and Sara too, deserved to be loved for all the efforts that she had been painstakingly mustered for the past three years. It was not one of those one-sided love story after all. I wish that they will stay with each other for a long, long time, because to be frankly said, they're way too perfect for each other.

After a few minutes of standing there in daze, I was knocked out of my trance when the light in the ballroom slowly dimmed down, indicating that the event would begin soon, so I quickly went over to my seat and instantly noticed the familiar face of Chang Wook.

"Hi oppa." I greeted him by whispering into his ears because the MC already started talking.

"Where did you go? I've searched everywhere for you." He held onto my hand, and we were smiling at each other. It had been a while since we last talked, approximately two weeks. Because I was busy with the boys, while he got snowed under with his usual work in his company, so we ended up missing each other.

"Then you're not searching hard enough, oppa. How can you not notice this beautiful lady?" I flipped my hair in an attempt of looking confident, but then my hand bumped into something behind and I turned around in panic, realizing that I almost knocked over a tray held by a waiter.

"Omo, I'm so sorry!" I apologized quickly, and the waiter just assured me that it was okay, while Chang Wook had a hard time suppressing his laughter that his face had turned red.

"Oppa, stop it. Everyone is looking!" I whisper-yelled and slapped his arm.

"It's not my fault, Jinhee. That's why people are taught to be humble, you know." He added a piece of advice while still cracking up in evil laughter. I sneaked my hand under the table and pinched his thigh, finally succeeded in making him shut up.

"Next, we'll welcome Attorney Lee Seohee to make her speech. She's a notable lawyer from Kim & Chang Law Firm who had been contributing her expertise in protecting our company's rights in a recent case." The MC spoke and invited the guest to the stage.

Wait, isn't that..

"Good evening to every wonderful people in this ballroom, I'm Lee Seohee from Kim & Chang Law Firm. I am very honored to be given a chance to stand on this stage. I won't talk too long because I don't expect for this. I just wanted to inform something to CEO Bang Sihyuk, and to my son, which is one of the trainees in this company."

"Today won't be your last day in this company, Seokjin ah. I want you to be happy with your friends, be happy with your dreams, and be happy with your life. I'm sorry for giving you a hard time, I'm sorry for being selfish all these times, I'm sorry for hurting you, and I'm sorry for being a bad mother in your life. I didn't realize that I was the one who actually had destroyed your happiness, your hopes and all your determination. I was indeed the foolish one. I-I'm so sorry, Seokjin ah.." Mrs Kim stopped for a moment as waters formed in her eyes. She then turned around to wipe her tears away.

When she had recovered, she slowly faced the audience again, "Eomma will trust you.. believe in you.. give you my whole support.. and also my blessings, Seokjin ah. CEO Bang, please take a good care of my son. Thank you." Mrs Kim bowed politely on the stage before she made her way down. And there Seokjin was already waiting for her.

"Eomma.. you don't have to do this.." Just like the mother, the son who was dressed in a navy blue suit was also crying his eyes out.

"Seokjin ah.. you deserve everything, and eomma will give you that." Mrs Kim assured her son gently as they were hugging each other. The audience aw-ed at the warm scene while some giving them a loud applause.

"Oppa," I called Chang Wook, but my eyes still fixed onto the front, watching Mrs Kim and Jin in each other's embrace as they looked like they hadn't done that in years.

"Hm?" Chang Wook replied but I just let out a warm smile as I felt overwhelmed by the fact that it was finally over.

Everything seemed to work out by itself because at that moment, everyone had a happy smile on their faces. Jin and Suzy who were now looking at each other with their eyes glinted with tranquil happiness, and even Namjoon and Soojung who were watching the heartwarming scene while smiling broadly with happy tears.

"Thank you." I smiled at him and held his big hands in my small ones. Chang Wook looked at me rather taken aback as he had his brows furrowed.

"You have to be specific Jinhee, because you've so much to be thankful for." Chang Wook teased again as he brushed my nose tip with his finger.

I smiled even wider at his teasing. "I am thankful for everything. But for now, thank you for finding Jin oppa for me while you're busy with your company. You know I love you right oppa?"

"No, I don't know." He simply answered while tapping his cheeks, asking me to give him a kiss.

I frowned at him, but then a sudden thought crossed my mind. "If you answer me, then I'll give you the kiss, oppa." I raised my brows, challenging him.

Chang Wook stared at me with a strange expression, but then he nodded, "Sure, what is it?"

Huffing out a breath, I finally asked, "Did I perhaps have an amnesia before?"

The next second, Chang Wook looked at me with his eyes fully widened that it seemed like they almost fell out of its sockets. A few seconds passed, and the silence between us maintained with him still looking at me in bewilderment. Slowly, his brows knitted in confusion, and the next thing I knew, he burst into wild laughter.

"Jinhee! OMG, what's wrong with you? What nonsense are you talking about? Seriously, you've been watching too much K-drama.. amnesia.. pfft." Chang Wook was still laughing while slapping the table hard, but then when he noticed my blank look, he quickly regained his self-composure.

"Okay, what's wrong Jinhee? You're scaring me." He asked, finally looking all serious.

"I feel like there are some missing pieces of my past." I told him quietly while propped up my chin on the table. Chang Wook was surprised again by my statement, but slowly, he held onto a knowing smile.

"Jinhee, my lovely sister.. no one is capable of remembering every single memory that happened in the past. It's normal. I can't remember everything too, all I can remember was the good times when I spent my childhood with mother.. with mom.. and with you. Though you'd cry everytime we ended our taekwondo practice with this little boy, but it was a good memory for me–"

"Wait, oppa." I cut him off as I took some time to process his words properly. "Little boy? I don't remember doing Taekwondo with any little boy." I told him while pulling my brows in confusion.

"You don't remember? So.. you only remember doing Taekwondo with me?" He asked for confirmation, and I slowly nodded at him. He let a minute passed, before waving his hand off and laughing again.

"Eyy, Jinhee. There's no way you can't remember him. He'd always been bullying you until you cried your eyes out. You should remember him, and take avenge on him, if you meet him ever again. I don't remember his name, but if I'm not mistaken, he's the son of.."

I started to zoom out on Chang Wook as my mind suddenly rewind to the moment when Taehyung and I were cuddling in his cozy apartment. It was indeed a great moment of all, Taehyung was being romantic and gentle. He treated me like I was his only princess, but then my mind decided to ignore all that and fast forward to the part when he surprised me by telling me five things about him. And there, the memories replayed again..

"There's another older guy who taught us but I can't remember. All I can remember was that the practice session will end right after Mia cried because of me. I liked to bully her and see her crying out to that older guy."

As Taehyung's gentle voice repeated over and over again in my senses, I felt an uneasy sensation in my throat with a sudden wave of unpleasant emotions kicked in all at once, making my breathing constricted. I don't know what to think anymore, or what to conclude from all this. Was I the girl that Taehyung was talking about? So, I was Mia.. again?

Upon making that conclusion on my own, the uneasiness travelled down to my stomach, making me instinctively backing out from my seat in panic and I found myself running away, hoping that I could run away from all these confusing maze, or maybe I just wanted to run away from the truth—the real hurting truth.

"Wait, Jinhee!" I heard Chang Wook called out after me. When he had caught up with me, he turned me around carefully and stared at me with his face a canvas of worry.

"Hey... What's wrong, Jinhee? Why are you trembling like this..?"

I tried to make him let go of me, but I knew Chang Wook was also adamant to know why was I acting like this. So I just stopped struggling in his hold and exhaled out a frustrated sigh. For a moment, I found myself placing my hands on his chest for support so that I wouldn't falter right then and there.

"Oppa... It was Taehyung..." I mumbled weakly under my breath. There was a moment of silence, maybe Chang Wook was trying to figure out what I was referring to.

"What? That little boy was Taehyung? Why him?" Chang Wook asked, his expression was curious and a little annoyed by the mere fact that Taehyung was somewhat involved with my past.

"What about me?"

Just by hearing the timbre and tone of that voice, I felt an involuntary shiver swarm over my spine, making my heart pound at a rapid pace that it nearly exploded. The familiar scent of his body entered my senses, and I had confirmed that he was indeed beside me.

I dreaded turning around to meet the owner of that voice, the man that I had been constantly trying to avoid in the past few weeks, him that I tried to run away from, all because of that one mysterious dream, all because of that one mysterious name that kept haunting me, even at this very moment.

"Jinhee, I need to talk to you." Taehyung held onto my hand, and I turned around nervously to face him, finally looking at him properly for this one time.

He was wearing a dark navy suit, with his ruffled blonde hair falling gracefully on his handsome face, looking stunning as ever, and I could have sworn my heartbeat became more frantic at this sight of a master craftsman's perfection.

"Not now, Taehyung." I was surprised that I was able to say that, even pulling back my hand and I found myself unable to look at him anymore.

"Jinhee, I know you've been avoiding me." He pleaded as he stepped towards me. "Tell me... What did I do wrong?"

But I decided to honor his inquiry with silence as my gaze only fixed on the ground, unable to meet his intense eyes, or say anything.

Simply, because I can't tell him. I can't ask him about Kwon Mia, remember?

"Can't you see that I'm talking to my little sister now?" Chang Wook stepped up for me as his overprotective mode was on once again.

Now I found myself shielded behind Chang Wook. I noticed Taehyung's expression changed into solemnity, his jaw tightened and his ballsy eyes looking back at Chang Wook intensely. "And I need to talk with my girlfriend, it's not a really big deal right?"

Both Chang Wook and I were surprised at his last statement, only because I told him not to reveal about our relationship to Chang Wook yet, and now in just a few seconds, his revelation would turn everything into a chaos.

"Taehyung!" I shouted at him, reminding him about his slipped of tongue, but Taehyung was nowhere looking guilty, his expression was a pure emotionless, as if he was trying to imply he said that on purpose.

"What?! Jinhee, what's he talking about? Since when you are his girlfriend? Is it true?" Chang Wook asked consecutively as he shook my body together, as if trying to force the 'it's not true' answer from me.

"Oppa.. calm down." I spoke out gently to the alarmed Chang Wook. I didn't even know why he had to act up like this, and silently, I sent a death glare towards Taehyung.

"Are you going to talk to me now?" Taehyung asked as his brown eyes looked directly into mine, and by now, I noticed his silent anger was there. It was apparent to me that he was as frustrated as I was, but certainly by different reasons.

I was frustrated because I couldn't ask him anything. While, he was frustrated because of my silence.

Now, tell me, Taehyung. Will you have the balls to give me an answer if I ever asked you about Kwon Mia?

"Jinhee, I need an explanation!" Chang Wook suddenly yelled out, still shaking me and also hurting me now with his strength. I looked at him with confusion, and it was strange that I was starting to fear my own brother. While Taehyung also had that discomfort look when he saw Chang Wook behaving like that.

"Oppa, stop it. You're hurting me–"

"Let go of her." Taehyung decided to speak up and successfully made Chang Wook let go of me.

I took some time to exhale out a relief breath, but the next thing I knew, Chang Wook suddenly grabbed Taehyung and punched him straight in the jaw. For a second, I was stuck to the ground in great shock as terror began to wash over my whole being.

"Oppa!" I quickly rushed over to Chang Wook and trying to rip him apart from Taehyung. But he was strong enough to launch at Taehyung again.

On the other hand, Taehyung never made his comeback, though he was capable of hurting Chang Wook as much as he hurt him. He once told me that he respected Chang Wook as my big brother, so he would never touched him.

"Stay away from my little sister, do you hear me?!" Chang Wook continued to shout and grunt on top of Taehyung.

"Oppa, please stop! Don't hurt Taehyung anymore!" I shouted helplessly, I didn't even know what to do because I didn't expect this side of wild Chang Wook. He was never like this, but why just because of the fact that I was in a relationship made him so mad, so infuriated?

"Jinhee, what's wrong??" Soojung suddenly appeared beside me, and when she saw what was unfolding in front of us, she stepped back in panic and covered her mouth. Then I saw all the boys came out from the ballroom upon hearing the commotion.

"Guys, please... Save Taehyung." I pleaded desperately, and they immediately attempted on breaking the both of them, while Jin was with Suzy, blocking her view so that she couldn't witness any violence again.

After a few minutes of struggling, they finally succeeded in separating them far from each other. Chang Wook was still intrigued to attack, while Taehyung just wiped away the blood on his lips. There wasn't that much bruise, maybe he had been blocking all the punches just now.

Without wasting any time, I found myself approaching Chang Wook, and swiftly, I planted a slap across his cheek. With that, the atmosphere lapsed into eerie silence as Chang Wook looked at me in surprise and complete disbelief.

"What's wrong with you, oppa?" I decided to confront him with a confused look, because I was indeed baffled at this very moment. What was his reason to act up like this?

"I'm trying to protect you, Jinhee! Everything that you have right now won't last long, they're only temporary, you know that, yet why are you holding onto it so strong? How will you learn to let go soon?" Chang Wook said breathlessly as he caught on his head, looking exasperated.

While I was left speechless in my spot, trying to register Chang Wook's words slowly, and when I did, I felt my chest tightened painfully, as if every each word was giving a hard slap to me, asking me to wake up and accept the hard truth—the reality.

Hesitantly, I scanned around the expressions of the people I loved, and they had a million questions painted across their face, pondering on what Chang Wook had just said because he was slurring his words, so it didn't come out clear to others.

"Jinhee, what's your brother talking about?" Hoseok decided to ask me, voicing out his curiosity. I looked at him reluctantly, as well as to others who were waiting for my explanation. But no.. I can't tell them anything yet. I'm not mentally and physically ready for this.

And as if the fate was trying to help me again, I saw Mrs Jung hastily rushed out of the ballroom looking overwhelmed with panic, tears streaming down her cheeks. When she caught on the sight of Hoseok who was standing in front of me, she quickly made her steps towards us.

"H-hoseok ah!" She called out, her rushed tone making Hoseok instantly ran over to her.

"What's wrong eomma? Are you okay?" Hoseok asked worriedly, checking her small figure at the same time.

Mrs Jung shook her head profusely, "It's not about me, Hoseok ah, it's your sister.."

Hoseok's eyes widened in fear, and we were suddenly nervous at the mention of Jiwoo unnie. "W-what about Jiwoo noona? Don't tell me–"

"She has awakened from her coma! The hospital just called, we should go see her, son!" Mrs Jung urged the frozen Hoseok, and after a few seconds when he had recovered from the shock, Hoseok gave us one last meaningful look before they immediately left the scene.

Two hours later, we found ourselves gathering in the familiar waiting room again, while some people were giving us weird stares, well, obviously because we rushed over here with our beautiful suits and dresses. We didn't have enough time to change our outfit, did we? More importantly, in such crucial moment like this.

"Jinhee and Taehyung, you guys can go in first." Namjoon smiled at us, and we exchanged a look before nodding at him. Since the nurse only allowed three people to visit at one time, so we couldn't help but to take turns in meeting Jiwoo unnie.

We walked into the ICU room, and there, Hoseok was just by the bedside, couldn't stop looking at Jiwoo unnie who now had her eyes opened. I looked into her bright round eyes, and I found myself smiling at her.

"Jiwoo unnie." I greeted her softly. She was still looking weak, and whenever someone appeared by her bedside, she had that expression as if saying she was trying to remember something.

"Jinhee..." She called out inaudibly. For some reason, her weak and fragile voice made my heart tug with an inexplicable feeling. I felt the tears threatened to come out because of the mere fact that she remembered me. I guessed it was because I came to visit her frequently, whether it was with Hoseok oppa, Mrs Jung, or with Taehyung.

"Taehyung..." She called for Taehyung, and this time, a weak smile was there for him.

"Jiwoo noona... I have missed you..." Taehyung held onto her hands and buried his face into it, crying silently as he couldn't believe that a miracle just happened. Hoseok who was beside him started to tear up again as he assured Taehyung by gently rubbing his back.

"Hoseok ah, thank you for bringing your friends here.. I wasn't able to reply you all these times.. I wasn't able to move or tell you.. that I love you.. I love you guys so much.. Thank you for all your prayers that I am finally here.. staying with you guys.." Jiwoo unnie spoke each word with difficulty as her voice cracked, but when she finished her last word, she let out the widest smile that she could muster.

"Noona, don't speak anymore.. you're still weak. I'm just so happy that you came back." Hoseok kissed her forehead gently as an avalanche of tears tumbled down his face. And I think those tears meant: I love you too, noona.

I stood there in mute as I listened to Jiwoo unnie and Hoseok whispering words that they couldn't say before, as if they tried to appreciate every second that existed with such deep emotions in their eyes, and only they could understand what those emotions truly meant.

I let out a warm smile as I felt happy for Hoseok and Jiwoo unnie. Because the long waiting game had finally ended for them.

But then, my smile subconsciously faded as I couldn't help but to look at Taehyung, and something hit me with realization — that the happy ending between Hoseok and Jiwoo unnie also meant that...

The waiting game between Taehyung and me has come to an end.

Last of Kim Seokjin ❣️

I believed that everyone wants the truth to be revealed.

But the question is..

Was Taehyung ready to tell?

You guys should know who's next ;)

I was saddened by your silence in chapter 59. Why? If there were fewer comments, that usually means the interest is dwindling down. So sorry to have disappointed you.. are you bored now?

I hope you provide feedback, because that's what feeds me and motivates me to write and entertain you.

Thank you for reading, lovelies!
